We arrived with our 2 well behaved dogs and had a very warm welcome. We didn't have food although we were very tempted as we had a meal cooked in our camper.

Had a great sirloin steak tonight with all the trimmings. Delicious. Best steak I’ve had in a long time. Allan had fish it also was delicious. Be back soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just had a super lunch at the restaurant. The meal and presentation were excellent. Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere.

Stayed one night and they accommodated our wee dog. Room was lovely and had everything we needed Went to bar for meal and breakfast so dog could be with us Fabulous food and extremely happy friendly staff Would highly recommend and will definitely visit regularly once we return to our caravan x.

Just had takeaway crab fish cakes and Mac and cheese — both delicious and giant portions — such good value. Highly recommend.

The food is amazing and they have a great vegetarian selection on menu.

Been twice this week for the Three course Christmas meal.
Both times the food has been delicious.
Starters — had the duck terrain and the salmon and prawn cocktail — both delicious.
Main — both times had the poached fillet of salmon which was awesome.
Sweet — both times had the cheese board.
Defo highly recommend. Pleasant staff and friendly atmosphere.
Back again on Thursday for Christmas lunch as so good.

Went for a birthday meal in the tent, good food, staff really nice, even had our own little heaters!

Fantastic meal & service. Very well organised & laid out. Excellent all round.

Shocking service. Waitress took our order and completely missed one person. Brought out the meals with one meal wrong fish order then one meal totally forgotten. We had to wait 15 minutes for the forgotten meal and that person had to eat alone as everyone else had finished. Such a shame as last time we visited the experience was good. This time however was extremely poor.

Ordered a take away tonight and would highly recommend. We had crab, lobster and scampi as our mains and it was good portion sizes and prices. The chowder was absolutely delish and I will 100% be back for some more. Thank you!

Came for a meal for my uncle and aunts Silver Wedding anniversary. Great meal, Chicken korma was excellent. Staff are very friendly, polite, accommodating and patient of a large family gathering. It was a really great night.

We tried to get in for food during the Easter holidays and it was fully booked, and after our visit today we understand why. The staff was so friendly, the food was amazing and great value for money, there was no fault in any aspect of the visit. We will definitely be back.

Well what can I say the food and staff brilliant.

Just came here after an exhausting trip to the Elie Chainwalks. Service was fast, though it took some time for our dishes to be taken from us after we'd finished our food. The food all in all was absolutely fantastic and I definitely will be coming here again and passing recommendation to come to this place. The Staff were kind and let us seat even without a reservation. Fantastic and pretty much flawless. Clean and every table was cleaned at every given opportunity, if I lived closer I'd definitely become a regular.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Room very small but fine for a short stay. Very good staff in the bar and restaurant. Food good.

Visited early Saturday evening so it was pretty busy but we still had to wait a very long time between every course. Not a great deal of vegetarian options & the one my cousin & I fancied turned out to be unavailable! All in all still a lovely evening though.

Just been for a meal at the upper largo hotel the service and the food was excellent very busy tonight but you always get first class service from these young ladies thank you.

More of a restaurant than a hotel, this place is quite OK, but with only three rooms it's facilities cannot be considered plentiful. Sitting by a busy road doesn't help either. I'd only choose this again if I could get room But only for a quick sleep-over. The restaurant serves decent food for a decent price. Nice views.

Visited today and had a lovely three course meal. Waitress was lovely, food lovely and excellent value. Toilets nice and clean with nice hand wash, I feel you can get the gist of a place if they put the same effort to toilets/hall areas as front of house. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

Booked for my grandma's 80th Birthday and I cannot fault the service and food at all! Absolutely wonderful food and service, had the best macaroni cheese! had such a wonderful evening.

They made a lot of mistakes with meal orders and had to ask where our meals were. Food was nice.

Booked the function room to celebrate 30 years married and renewal of our wedding vows took place in the hotel. The room was set up how we had asked, they had personalised the menus, the waitresses were amazing and the food was great. Thank you for making our special day run smoothly. No complaints at all, would highly recommend this venue for any small intimate occasions. Value for money too. Thank you xx.

The three course deal is fantastic — we had the absolutely delicious Haggis starter, very spicy spring rolls followed by Turkey & melt in the mouth beef dinner with very tasty desserts — worth every penny with excellent service.

A group arrived after us but we're served first. We only ordered a main meal and it took a very long time. The group who arrived after us had actually had their order placed and eaten before ours arrived. Couldn't fault the food though. My wife had the lobster and I had the lamb medallions.

Had a lovely Sunday Dinner for £12.50… 3 courses! I had Lentil & Veg Soup for starter. Roast Turkey Dinner for Main Course & Trifle for sweet. Happy to recommend this restaurant.

Popped in to try the 3 course meal for £12.50 must say it was delicious, started with the spring rolls and salad with sweet chilli dipping sauce then we had the fish in batter with chips and peas and the to finish we had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream it was good value for the money, waitress service was good they made sure we were looked after will definitely be back.

Disappointed that my Saturday night dinner was more like a bar lunch.
Starters were good, but bread rolls were served cold.
Ordered scamp, husband ordered battered fish, the scampi was served with chips and a small dish of peas, would have been better with some side salad for the price, my husband was served with overdone breaded fish… No batter?
He said to the waitress that he never ordered breaded fish, she said sorry and she would change it, but if we had changed it I would have been eating on my own.
We both ordered sticky toffee pudding, it was well presented but the sponge was old, the toffee was served in a small pot which was well het up that it burned your fingers… the ice cream also was poor for taste.
Sorry but I have had much better for £60. As I said poor quality for dinner that was bad lunch material.

Excellent food. Menu has a good variety. Special extra menu Monday to Friday £12.50 for three course meal. Excellent value for money.

Food was really good and very well presented in nice surroundings. Sitting in the conservatory with the rain falling outside made it seem even more comforting. And there is a 3 course menu for only £12.50 that is very good value for the standard of food.
