Last week I attended a post funeral afternoon tea with about 40 others. The welcome. Superb room provided and exceptionally attentive waiting staff a sad day was made so much better. Best I have experienced and a HUGE thank you to manager and staff. I live in Inverness but would highly recommend you to all. Many thanks.

We held my Mum’s funeral tea at the Dean Park last week and I could not fault the service, food, or the venue. The staff got the balance just right between being friendly and helpful and respectful. Thank you for making a difficult day pleasant and comfortable. Thank you ❤️

We got married here on the 5.11.21. ❤️ this hotel means so much to our family and we couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone! Whether it be for a family function, dinner, high tea, or a wedding the hotel and all their staff are absolutely phenomenal and cater to all your needs! The rooms and the grounds of the hotel are stunning. 🥰 having our wedding here was just perfect and we can’t thank you all enough! Special shout outs to the amazing Julie, Chris, Paula and Carlie! Absolutely recommend. Could not pick a fault. First of all the food was amazing. Atmosphere even though its whilst we are going through a pandemic was top notch and would like to say that this is down to the Staff, who were absolutely amazing. Everyone of them deserve a huge pay rise. As this is exactly what makes customers etc come back.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with 2 friends today. Staff were very friendly and helpful and everything was well run. Food was excellent and after its refurb the hotel is looking very smart — mit Valentina Pintus.

Had an amazing meal here for my mums birthday. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, super friendly and very professional. Under the current circumstances, everything was sign posted, hand sanitiser for use & stickers to guide you to wherever needed. The meal itself was incredible, the best meal we have all had in a long long time. It’s so nice to see a business that really cares about the customers, when it comes to food and keeping safe during these times. Beautiful inside & we can’t wait until we get married at the Dean Park Hotel in 2022!

Service was excellent a special mention to Ryan who was smartly dressed friendly polite and very attentive to all in the customers in the Room he really did go the extra mile with his service and polite manner we even managed to see his smile through the mask! We also would like to mention the young ladies who were serving today also smart polite and friendly

Was here Saturday night for a booked birthday meal. The renovations and decor is looking great and the staff were all so pleasant, chatty and the service was brilliant. Meals were all delicious too.

Great high tea — fantastic food with outstanding service. Great value, would recommend.

Had a fantastic meal last night. Can’t recommend The Dean Park highly enough, the food, and the atmosphere were amazing as always. The refurbishment is absolutely stunning, but above all the staff are amazing! This hotel will put Kirkcaldy on the map as there is nothing in the area like it.

Worst hotle i’v ever stayed in!. Not clean and the boiler was broken first thing in the morning. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in EVER. The bedding that was on my bed in my room was like as if it was put on the bed six months ago and has just been left dormant, it had like an old persons smell to it which is not very pleasant for anyone at all. The room that is advertised on here is NOTHING LIKE THE ROOM I WAS GIVEN. I got up on the morning to get a shower and there was no hot water, the boiler had broken!. Absolutely joke!. I was meant to be staying for two nights but there was no way on earth that I was going to stay for a second night due to the experience that I’d had on my first night which was an absolute nightmare. Even when it came to the breakfast, I ordered scrambled eggs and there was egg shell in the scrambled eggs!. When I went to reception to tell them that I wanted a refund for the night that I didn’t want to stay the didn’t even offer me a refund or a partial refund of any kind which I think is totally unfair as the experience I had was a really bad one!. They could have even at least offered me something like a 50% discount voucher to try and keep me as a customer. I’ve also attached some pictures of some dirty bedding that I was shocked to have found in the breakfast area, which had just been dumped on the floor, totally not on at all.

Visited Dean Park this afternoon for a meal with my partner and the whole experience was amazing.
Food tasted lovely especially the Breaded Haddock which was amazing.
Great portion sizes and so good we couldn't manage desserts.
Special thanks to Ryan for looking after us and showing us round the hotel with the possibility of booking our wedding there.
Also thanks to Manager Chris for taking the time to sit with us and go through prices for the wedding.
The hotel these days looks amazing and love the plans they have for the future.
Well worth a try

What a difference a year makes, the refurb that has taken place within the hotel is amazing, high class with all the furnishings and fittings, it's a class act, looks awesome, food was amazing too, I hope they do up to toilet facilities though, recommend a visit folks xx.

I regularly rent out of the function rooms for meetings. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is looking fantastic! The staff are very welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful. Will continue to use the hotel for both business and leisure. Many Thanks to the staff for their hospitality and professionalism.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing lunch here today. All the staff were lovely and attentive without being over the top. The new decor looks amazing, a brave thing to do at this time of year but definitely worth it. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay staff were well mannered yes sir no sir can I help you with bag. Breakfast cant fault it.

Was best man at a wedding in Saturday and I could not fault the staff. Went out there way to help with everything.

I honestly cant thank the staff for all they done on our wedding yesterday they went above and beyond loved everyone especially the manager chris and his wife who actual felt like friends rather than staff everything was amazing no faults at all and its a day we will never forget or anyone who attended thankyou so much.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to the staff of the dean park hotel for making our wedding a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

We had our wedding at the Dean Park on 14/06/19 and it was the most amazing day ever. Chris and Susan was amazing from the start when we booked our wedding in October 18. They were always very helpful / friendly and went that extra length to ensure we and our guests had a great day and night.
Also a big thanks to the other members of staff who were great too.
The food was awesome — thanks to the chef who done an excellent job!

We came here on 9/6/19 to spend our Christmas vouchers. Waiting staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
starters and deserts were delicious. The waitress even suggested we get two side plates and out them in the middle so that we could share!
excellent value for money. It's a shame the restaurant is so empty, we will definitely be back.

Lovely breakfasts and very pleasant to chat with barmaids. Set in a nice location away from the town centre. I think the rooms were a little dated but acceptable.

Good welcome. Large room. Alas, the carpets are dirty and the hotel is aging and poorly maintained.

Visited under sad circumstances, but the function room, fantastic food and friendly service from the staff made the occasion a little brighter. Didn't have a chance to stay, but other relatives that did were happy with the experience. Plenty of parking available, and good level of pretty modern decor inside.

Beautiful Hotel, rooms very comfortable, meals excellent especially the steak pie it's to die for.! Management and staff so nice and friendly, looked after everyone needs, I would not hesitate in returning for a stay and meal.

We had our wedding at the Dean Park on the 23rd June and it was perfect. We had a wedding package which took away a lot of hassle as most of the suppliers were included, but it still left us with lots of options to tailor the day to exactly what we wanted. The staff were amazing and really looked after us all, and the food was wonderful. All our guests have commented on the food and service. Thank you for helping make our day so special.

Me and my husband had our wedding at the Dean Park on Saturday 30th June 2018 and it was the best day ever. Chris was amazing from when we booked our wedding 2 years prior. He was always on hand to help with anything we needed and nothing was ever too a big deal for Chris or the other members of staff. Our family and friends were all made to feel welcomed and relaxed. All our guested comments on how amazing the food was. We had the best day/night celebrating and a large reason for that was because of the staff at the Dean Park. Thank you again!

Such an awesome venue. We were guests at a wedding, and so this was the first time we'd been here. The whole hotel is really nice, with multiple function rooms, all of which were made use of by the wedding party. The place was lovely, super clean, and really homely. The room with the dance floor and bar was really nice too, a floor… with sparkly stars… sweet. There was an abundance of super friendly, super helpful staff. There were a good crowd of us, and none of us were left wanting or needing. We also had dinner, a 3 course meal which was also brilliant, come on, how many weddings have you been to, and the catering was "ok"? Not here, the food here was a delight. Top notch.

Exquisite Hotel… Nice rooms very spacious, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great had a huge selection and recommend you try the black pudding it's the best I've had… Never visited the bar facilities but we liked it so much we are going again tomorrow so may try the cocktails out this time. Rooms as moderately priced and I feel worth the money. My only negative thing to say is that the beds aren't the best I've slept in but they more than meet the needs.

An amazing Venue to hold our 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary. The Hotel was beautiful and the staff extremely helpful throughout the preparation and warm and attentive to my Wife and I during our celebration evening and stay over. Nothing was to big or too little a question. Nicola and I are glad we had a celebration of our love for each other amongst friends and family and we are glad we done it at the Dean Park Hotel. Thanks a million to all the staff and management team for an amazing night where lasting memories were made.

Staff was amazing, food was brilliant but the rooms could do with being updated.

I was at the grand opening of this place in 1977. I had my wedding reception here in 1987. I have been a customer here many many times for many different occasions. Was here with a friend for dinner a couple of weeks ago. They are the same burgundy (once velvet) chairs that I sat on in 1977. All stained and worse for wear. Very shabby in some parts of the hotel and disappointed with what was quite a costly meal. The beef in the stroganoff was tough… not slow cooked or tender as it should have been. I had to send back grubby cutlery and to top it off, the base of my liqueur coffee glass had a big slice sheared off. Lethal. Won't be back anytime soon.

Stranded during the bad snow. Though under staffed because of the snowm, those who were on duty were great. A special mention for Stevie (groundsman) who on my arrivals supplied me with toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant. The following morning he took me in his 4wheel drive to the supermarket so I could buy more girlie essentials — yeh.

My sister had her wedding reception here. The service & food were top class. The staff were amazing, so helpful, friendly & hard working. Couldn't do enough for us.

Lovely bar lunch. Food especially cooked for you so a little wait if having no starter. I had carrot and coriander soup. It was very good! The rest of the menu was good too.

I have only visited for evening meals. Good reasonably priced menus. Good food and friendly staff. I would visit again.

Service was lovely, although the menus were muddled and they had to print fresh! I enjoyed the meal overall. Worth noting that the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding were most certainly frozen rather than freshly prepared. Yorkshire to crisp to eat. Otherwise pleasant.

Met some friends here for lunch. Lovely meal and great service. No complaints.

My wife hosted a parent and baby event at the hotel. The venue is great, ample parking, lots of space and the staff were brilliant. The only negative in my view was an internal smoking room that was between the two halls which were not aware of until it was in use.

The bedroom was clean and spacious but the bath had not been cleaned and there were hairs in both the bath and the shower which was a big let down the shower randomly kept making a sound like a car engine running and this happened through the night as well. The carpets in the communal areas were threadbare. On the plus side the staff were friendly, the bar was well stocked and the breakfast was good. Not sure if we would stay there again though.

Lovely place. Clean tidy rooms. Very Good service. Brilliant breakfast good choice of lots to eat and drink.

You could not fault the Hotel, the staff, the foodI really enjoyed my stay. Will be down again for one of their tribute nights. John the Manager is a great guy perfect host in the hospitality trade.

Fantastic hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Especially Steph, Louise, Aleshsa, Claire and John the Gm. What a great guy he must be to work for. The rooms are modern and appealing with seriously comfortable beds and soft marshmallow pillows. Superb quality and comfort have obviously been the paramount idea in the design of the rooms. The food is outstanding, I tried a different combination every night from the menu and was never disappointed but amazed by any choices. Such a memorable place to stay with homely comforts. Fabulous place to stay. Love it to bits.

Stayed at Dean Park Hotel 8th-10th Aug 2017. Set in lovely grounds. The room was spacious, bed very confortable and room very clean. Food in restaurant was tasty for dinner although choice limited for vegetarian or healthy choices. Good for meat lovers. Breakfast was ok something for everyone although only served butter and no other choice of spread also only full fat fresh milk no semi skimmed or skimmed. Staff very friendly and welcoming and would definately stay again. Only very minor changes needed.

Great wedding venue. Lovely staff and nice food. Drinks a bit pricey but doesn't take away the likes it rating.

I was at the hotel for a wedding and was not impressed with the state of the facility's. In the gents toilet just off the function room, it has a ceiling tile missing, the soap dispenser was broken and the hand dryer didn't work. I was in one of the rooms (number 3) and it had really squeaky floor and loose fly tiles in the bathroom. In the corridor some of the lights didn't work. The bar prices were expensive. £6 for a small glass of prosecco. The food was good however and the staff were helpful enough.

We enjoyed and excellent High Tea and it really took me back to my childhood. More places need to do High Tea! Service was great and the cocktails offered were classics and well done! Thank you so much!

Been at this venue every year for Christmas day dinner with positive views, but. This year it has fallen down vey badly with the meal and sevice. The staff are new and possibly so was the chef as the food was nothing traditional abouit being christmas and there was abosliutely no christmas atmosphere, and no Santa for the kids as previous years. And was told by staff (politely) to leave and sit elsewhere as they had to clear up! Won't be back next year.

Evening meals are first class. Staff are spot on with their service.
