Super, comfy bed. Great food and drink. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Right on the edge of Bannockburn battlefield. Great place.

Just back from a 2 night stay here for our 10 year wedding anniversary, we’ve had an amazing weekend, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the room was spotless, really comfy beds, food was outstanding. We will definitely be back! Thank you guys it’s been brilliant!

Had a great 2 night stay, lovely room with great view out to the park. Food was great and staff so friendly, especially Elizabeth at reception. We will definitely be back.

I go to the King Robert Hotel quite alot as it is local. The staff are always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is top norch. Try their steak pie, its amazing and their high teas great value for money. The King Robert is also dog friendly and there is a fantastic area next door at the Bannockburn heritage centre to walk your dog.

We have been a few times over the years and it never dissapoints… we were there for overnight tribute act with dbb… was a surprise for my husbands pending 60th bday my friends arrived before us and the staff were amazing helped with the decorations he hadn't a clue. The look on his face was pricless spent the afternoon in the lounge with drinks and lunch first class service… The meal at night was delicious and the entertainment again first class … We Will definitely recommend The King Robert and hopefully be back soon. It's been a few years since we were at the King Robert and we definitely won't be leaving it as long this time. The staff absolutely make the hotel alongside great food and the place is looking good since its refurb. Hope to see you all again soon xx.

We had a voucher to use and chose this hotel as the pictures are lovely, I don’t have any complaints but the room we stayed in definitely wasn’t what I was expecting and could probably have been slightly cleaner. The staff were amazingly friendly though and we felt very comfortable!

Great staff so friendly, Totally amazed when you see outside and then inside, wow, great rooms spacious clean tidy. 3 course meal was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel, also 5 minutes walk to Bannockburn.

Was at a charity night last night. It was amazing. The buffet food was plentiful and amazing quality. The resident DJ fab at keeping the crowd dancing and entertained. Clean everywhere and amazing lovely staff. Ten out of ten.

We had our wedding at the King Robert Hotel on the 12th Feb and we had an amazing day! The staff were brilliant, the food was excellent and the band and DJ were fab! Tricia was a great help from the minute we booked the wedding right up to the day itself. We stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Will definitely be back for our anniversary every year! Xx.

The King Robert is an a great wee hotel. Staff are friendly and so helpful. Go every year at Christmas for one of their party nights which never disappoints. Also had my silver wedding party and my 50th Birthday here. If you want a venue with a great atmosphere and fabulous staff then this is the place to be. Also hosted business seminars here. Highly recommended.

Restaurant service was very attentive, bar staff had good gin recommendations too!

Stayed 1 night, after attending my Uncle's birthday bash. Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff in the bar, reception and restaurant. Will stay again.

This hotel is located in a lovely part of town, next to the Battle of Bannockburn site, which they don't highlight much. The food in the restaurant was very tasty with a good choice. The staff were all very nice too.

I stayed one night, after coach tour of Orkneys. The hotel was really nice, clean and pleasant. Food was great, best meal of holiday. Staff very helpful.

Fantastic hotel. Staff could not be more helpful. We were surprising friends who were with a coach party from England. They got us a room three doors down set up a special table for us and the meal was honestly one of the best we have had at a hotel in forever. Quickly served and piping hot. Absolutely brilliant staff. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff, dogs are welcome, allowed in bar but not restaurant. Good breakfast. Situated next to battle of Bannockburn memorial (good for walking dog).

Would give them 10 stars if I could. The people who work here are exceptional. My mother fell ill on our holiday, and we were blown away at how understanding and considerate the staff are. She recovered quickly with their help. We are so thankful for their kindness! Additionally, the rooms were spotless and the food was delicious. They also have a nice bar — although we unfortunately didn't have the chance to enjoy it. If you are ever lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here, take it!

Food, service and friendliness of staff brilliant. Had great weekend. Bedroom very good but shower bracket incorrect for shower head so had to b hand held. Minor problem compared to all round service from this hotel. Would go there again.

Enjoyed our night stay. Beautiful room, view and amenities. Unlimited continental and fried breakfast with unlimited drinks too all reasonably priced. Standing lamp not working but not an issue as the rest of the lights were working. Water pressure for shower not too strong but again, not a problem. Hoping superior room had fridge. Overall, I'd recommend King Robert Hotel to friends and viewers on trip advisor. ☺

Very Good Entertainment and food to. Accommodations Very clean and tidy en-suites Rooms. The Bar's Prices needs to be brought down to £3 at least. For Scottish Tennants. The Spirits too. Cocktail's come down too.

Loved this hotel. It feels like a very warm family atmosphere and I felt very sad to leave. Lovely rooms and the food was amazing. However, house keeping do not change bed sheets as often as I would have liked during my stay. They did not change them at all. I can overlook tiny hinges as my overall stay was enjoyable. Always have a fantastic meal and the entertainment is always second to none. Have also stayed her many times and the rooms and breakfast were always first class. Staff can never do enough to make your stay enjoyable.

Covered in snow, children snowmen and throwing snowballs, having fun. My dog had a great time too.

Went there for Christmas dinner anx the food was excellent, as was the service. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and we all had a great time. Would definately recommend dining there.

Had a great night. All the staff were lovely. Neil Diamond tribute was good. Dj was good. Think maybe the raffle went on a bit but thats the only downside. Recommend.

A large and spacious venue with an entertainment hall and a fixed partition lounge. Ample parking with both ground floor and upper floor rooms, disabled access is good although only one area has a dropped kerb for electrical chairs and buggies which do not climb. Sited not far from the M8 & M9 and nestles in the outskirts of Stirling city. Within the grounds of the Battle of Bannockburn monument adjacent to the hotel offers plenty of walking areas, a cafe too. A local pub within 100m and a vetinary practice should one be required. Plenty places to frequent all within walking distance, a public bus stop is outside the hotel and the bus station is merely a 5 minute bus trip. A golf club is within a few miles, views of Stirling castle can be had from Robert the Bruce monument park. A fishery again without a few miles and the thistle marches shopping centre offers many retail outlets. Coach trips to the King Robert Hotel are frequent as are cabaret and guest appearance nights. The public may enter to have a seated meal or drink at the bar.

Another great night at king Robert got married here last yr back for anniversary rooms lovely, foods amazing great staff aswell.

Had a great stay here for my mums 80th Birthday. Staff were excellent. Maria on reception was very pleasant and efficient. The waiting staff & bar staff were great. Nothing was too much bother. The food at the tribute night was good & plentiful!
DJ Gordon & "Take This" were very entertaining and had the crowd on their feet all night! Thanks again!

Function room was quite cramped not easy to talk to other tables. Looked nice though and bar staff were pleasant enough.

Despite a price of £100, the room (double standard 214) is not clean:
— The dishes are not clean (cup and spoon),
— The handle of the flush is dirty,
— The paper reel is also dirty,
— Hairs in the shower and
— Dust all over the room,
— All the walls are dirty.
The furniture is very well dressed: mirror chipped, very damaged desk, the bathroom door to even a hole.
The water pressure is extremely low and it is very difficult to wash properly.
The hotel is also reception room for birthdays and weddings which makes it extremely noisy.
Don't stop.

Attended a birthday party with a set menu. Food was mediocre and service was a bit "rough". We were in a large room but we're crammed into one end. The other half was unused.

We had a great couple of nights stay at the king Robert Hotel. Staff so friendly and very helpful. Good food, good room and slept great. Will definitely be visiting again.

This was my first trip to Scotland and staying at the King Robert Hotel was definitely the right place to stay. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Lorraine on reception was totally lovely and yet professional I witnessed her handle 3 issues for guests so smoothly I was impressed. Then Ryan was a total superstar finding a fan for the room and freshly cooked dinner to our room all in a flash while handling bar work. Ryan was the best breakfast waiter ever. Nothing was too much for him and all the staff did everything with a smile. The room was simply lovely with truly comfy beds. The food for dinner was very reasonable and breakfast was fabulous perfectly cooked and the best yogurts called Lichfields were the best. We will definitely go back.

Just got here, but first impressions are good… The family room is massive, with a lovely en-suite and views out to the Bannockburn Centre.

What an an absolutely amazing place to stay. The cottage was modern with a touch of a Scottish theme. It was immaculate and even had board games for kids and books for adults. We arrived late and they kept the kitchen open so we could have a proper meal which was delicious. Staff very friendly and you can nip next door to the hotel for a beer or 2.

It's the first time I've stopped here but, hopefully, it won't be the last. What it lacks in fresh new looks is the friendliness of staff. If I was being really picky I could talk about the drawers needing a wipe out (hair grip and various bits in the drawers) but it's minor. I'm a regular guy and certainly wouldn't complain about something so trivial. Breakfast was lovely with a buffet style spread of the usual bacon, sausage etc with gorgeous poached eggs and an array of pastries to choose from. USB plug sockets next to the bed was a nice touch. A wonderful selection of spirits in the cocktail bar too.

Nothing too fancy here. Obviously an old hotel that could use some love, but nothing severely wrong. The staff was very friendly, and there is just enough onsite parking. The food was fine, but we only had breakfast there. Our double room was pretty small, we had to use the desk to lay our suitcase on. Since the hotel hosts some outside events, it got a little noisy in the evenings, but never ran too late. Not a bad place for a night or two, but I wouldn't recommend staying here much more than that. Very easy to find, and close enough to Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument, and Doune Castle. Ni!

Check in — at best not to look closely — check out. Cleanliness in the room, in the bathroom, and breakfast is buffet to be desired! Has disturbed us but apparently only.

I must say what ever you do, do not stay at this hotel dirty rooms and very nasty staff very over rated indeed.

The rooms smell of humidity, the bathroom ceilings are mildew, this peeling wallpaper, there are cobwebs.
