Having visited killin a few times this was our first stay in the Courie inn annoyed that we hadn’t stayed here before now! Great value for money staff very friendly and welcoming the room was wow really nice room spacious yet cosy?! Great sleep comfy bed. Great food had both dinner and breakfast. Defo be back here next time we come to killin.

Had a meal here and couldn’t recommend it enough. The decor is stunning and it has such a cosy atmosphere. Staff were lovely and the food was honestly 10/10. We will definitely be back!

Our 1st visit to the Courie Inn and definitely won't be our last. What an absolutely fantastic B&B. The staff are absolutely amazing. Can't thank them all enough for their exceptional service throughout our stay. We had the family room on the top floor and it was gorgeous. So spacious with a mixture of modern and period features. Very clean and tidy. The breakfast choice is perfect. We chose the cooked breakfast which was delicious. We cannot fault anything. Thank you again for making our stay in Killin so memorable ❤

We used the takeaway service twice while staying in Killin for a week in October and the food was superb. Highly recommend!

Just stayed for 2 nights at the Courie Inn. This is the third time we have stayed here. The hotel has smart modern decor, fabulous food and drink and attentive and friendly staff. From check in, cleanliness in the room and all public areas, the hotel paid close attention to COVID safe standards whilst being relaxed and welcoming. They are making a great effort to ensure that all guests feel safe but can still enjoy their stay, encouraging the use of an app to order food and drink, pre-ordering breakfast and maintaining social distancing measures throughout. All of the staff are wearing face masks at all times.
Killin is a gorgeous village with stunning walks and countryside all around.

We stayed at The Courie for 7 days, back in 2017. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The atmosphere was homey, and everyone was so very friendly. I wanted to take one of the waitresses home with me!
The food was awesome!
I would love to come back to Scotland, again, sometime!

First time in Killin and found my favourite bar! Old school service with a smile. It’s comfortable and cosy and the prices are fantastic. I will definitely return.

Wow, just been here with my family. My son had the salmon starter and he said it was amazing and my hubby and I had the nacho starter to share, it was spicy but delicious. Main meal my son had the carbonara which I had a nibble of. The sauce has to die for, the portion was huge and he was offered garlic bread which he jumped at. My hubby and I went for the minute steak dish and oh my, what a dish that was. The steak was so juicy, the whole dish was just immense. We couldn't managed a dessert bit they all sounded gorgeous. Staff were fab and while they apologised for being busy we got our meal without a long wait. Will defo be back next time we are in the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent range of beers, whiskeys and gins. Fabulous food. Very reasonable price, especially considering the high quality and excellent service. We visited Killin last year and enjoyed 2 great evenings here. We came back to Killin this year, in large part because we knew we could get excellent food and drink here.

Stayed for one night however I would stay longer — a lovely place to stay with fantastic and very friendly service — nothing was to much — highly recommended.

Stopped in for a drink one night, came back the next for dinner! We came here for an after-dinner drink after a so-so experience at another place in town that had an unwelcoming staff and kept turning other diners away. Here we sat in the pub and found everyone — staff, locals and other tourists — were super friendly! We started out in a corner table for 4 and saw a family (turned away by that other place) come in hoping to eat. The bartender quickly scrambled to make space for them, but we offered to switch to a smaller table for 2 as we weren't eating. Everyone was so thankful, you'd think we'd saved lives! We even received a free drink as thanks. The bartender also didn't give us a hard time about asking for ginger ale to go with our whisky. In fact, he made some lighthearted fun with us about it. There were playing cards and board games that others took advantage of. Two older gentlemen had the most comfy chairs at the front of the pub and once the place had filled, they invited a couple of strangers to sit with them! Overall, a very pleasant and friendly place. We didn't bother going anywhere else the next night for dinner. We dined in the pub, although they also had a very nice dining room. We saw one couple come in without reservations, and rather than turn them away (like the other place would have), the staff invited them to sit in the pub and wait for a table to open up. They got them in fairly quickly.

Having had such awful accomodation and food in the hotel we were booked into we went into this wonderful bar and bistro, Emily who was behind the bar was delightful, she managed to book us into the restaurant at1945 the food was very tasty very hot and plentiful, I loved the fact that Emilys' mum came over to chat. Lovely food and lovely evening, thanks to you all.

Beware of room F! Check first if the bathroom door was fixed as it was impossible to close them. Same goes for the shower door. They probably did not fix it for quite some time as there was also water damage visible on the floor in the bathroom. For us the place was in a strategic location before returning to Edinburgh. Killin is a lovely place. The Inn is very nicely done. You have a bar and a restaurant on the ground floor which is an interesting addition. Room was very comfy. Breakfast was also amazing. Parking is first come first served.

Very friendly and comfortable, with excellent food. Great stopover for cyclists on the Sustrans Lands End to John O’ Groats route, with secure bike storage in the beer shed.

Had a lovely dinner at the bar section. Was full of locals and few tourists. Food is delicious, staff is friendly. When I visited them again to have a coffee and also ask for some ice (for my ankle), they refused to take money for the coffee. They simply put the money back in to my pocket. Asked me to come back again next day morning to get some more ice. A stylish lady (seems to be the owner) was very friendly and helpful. Good vibes. They deserve the best.

Stopped here for dinner at the recommendation of our driver and glad we did. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was outstanding. Probably the best meal we had in Scotland. Ingredients were fresh and well prepared and the service was terrific. This is THE place to eat in Killin.

Had the best weekend away in beautiful Killin spending most of our time at The Courie Inn. Stunning decor, a great selection of Gin’s, delicious food a plenty (highly recommend the haggis Bon Bon’s and the Scottish breakfast) but most importantly fabulous and friendly owners and staff who made our stay like home from home xx.

Had such a brilliant time and meal tonight at the courie Inn! We have stayed in killin for a few nights as part of our minimoon. As soon as we drove through the village and my wife saw the name of this restaurant she immediately said we are going there! The owner and staff have been so wonderful and the food was excellent. Even topping up our wine again when I accidently spilled the last glass. The decor is just beautiful and cosy think country shabby chic. Such a great selection of local ales and my wife's favourite Brockmans gin! Don't go past this little gem of a pub/ restaurant!

Amazing find. The beautifully presented courie inn is a fantastic place. They have gone above and beyond for our stay. Along with getting a bouquet of flowers and a bloody massive balloon on behalf of my husband for my birthday (that they travelled to Stirling to get). They put banners up in our room and at our table for dinner. The staff are lovely, room is amazing, food is delicious and Killin is a stunning place to visit. Highly recommend.

Lynn and everyone at the Courie Inn were absolutely fantastic! They went out of our way to make our meal and drinks and kept us company with their great chat. Thanks for making our hen weekend so enjoyable!

Probably the best option in this little town. The service was good and the food was not bad. The tables are a bit too crowded, so we sort of shared it with somebody's cute dog.

Fabulous little place. Staff very welcoming, & It was a very busy Saturday evening when we arrived. Rooms were lovely & beds very comfortable. All the little extras in the room were great too. Food was very tasty, we had both evening meal & breakfast there. Only 1 thing I would point out is that if you can't sleep when it's a little noisy, don't stay on a weekend, it's a very busy place. Didn't stop me from sleeping though!

Absolutely lovely rooms especially the MacPherson Suite which is good for a family of 4-5. There is a bunk bed for the kids and a convertible sofa bed. Love the food from the in-house restaurant and the location is easy to find on the main street. Bonus: The Co-Op is just down the road.

Probably very good, but a shame we couldnt actually get a table, and ended up in the Killin Hotel, which I sadly cannot recommend.

Amazing place we visited twice. Once for take away fish and chips. Which were delicious, you have to wait as they cook to order, but that just means they are fresh and hot. Second was for a sit in meal, again excellent. All the staff were super friendly, all is well priced and not only are dogs welcome but they get a fuss made over them too. Would recommend.

What a find this place was. We can't fault anything. From the minute we arrived we were made very welcome, we were upgraded to the Mcdonald suite which was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Our planned two night stay turned into a three night stay. The owners and the staff couldn't do enough for you in both the bar and bistro, this place is also very dog friendly and supplied treats and water for our dog Ellie. This place serves excellent food and we felt very much at home here. We had a most memorable stay would highly recommend and will definitely return here. Jim & Erica McGaughay.

My husband and I have just spent a wonderful weekend in the MacDonald Suite. Beautiful big room complete with plaster cornice and cast iron fireplace, spacious bathroom with huge roll top bath as well as a separate large shower.
We ate in the bar as we had the dog with us, but were able to choose from both the bar and restaurant menues, the food was delicious and my husband was delighted with the hearty portion sizes. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and so easy to enjoy the evening chatting away over drinks from the brilliant selection at the bar.
The owners, Lynn and Michael, are exceptional hosts putting their guests requirements and comfort first and the staff are so friendly and helpful it's impossible not to relax. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Me and my partner had a great time at The Courie Inn, Clean homely rooms, relaxing bar and the food was outstanding! I would highly recommend the Scottish breakfast. I would 100% recommend this hotel and will be visiting again in the future!
