Absolutely gorgeous meal last night at the Coach House, one of the best meals we’ve had in ages. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Sunday lunch today. Actually, the best Sunday lunch in a restaurant I have ever eaten.

Room B — Dog friendly room. Do not stay here! Very poor substandard tiny room, no Wi-Fi, stains all over carpets, grubby, cobwebs all over, holes in wall, shower doesn’t work, shower door doesn’t shut, light fitting wires showing — terrible creaky bed — 2 singles pushed together. Room is not fit for purpose to be charged to stay in, in my opinion. It’s disgusting. It’s like it was an afterthought in an annex to the main building. Very very disappointing stay and even more disappointing customer service from the owner when I mentioned I was disappointed with the room he was not the slightest bit interested nor objective about my complaint. I would not recommend this hotel. This room Is the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in, in 25 years! and we left 1 day earlier than planned as it was bad. Terrible stay. It’s a shame as the food in the restaurant was lovely but the terrible room and the awful customer service interaction from the owner totally ruined our stay. Overall a Terrible experience for us personally.

Online menu totally different to what was available when we went there was no choice whatsover if you don't like seafood or burgers.

The food is SUPERB! The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. We stayed in the Otterburn lodges and have had a fantastic time here. The Coach House is great value for money. Definitely recommend this place 😎

Six of us had drinks and food here Saturday and Sunday the food was amazing we really enjoyed it the kids loved there’s too. Our server Amy was friendly and attentive really lovely lady thanks so much.

Fantastic Coach House at Home meal last weekend, we went for arancini & prawns, beef shin & pork belly followed by tart tatin & cheesecake. All to the usual high standard, the lemon meringue cheesecake and pork belly were particularly fantastic but the whole meal was high quality and easy to cook at home.

Had the most delicious Mother’s Day afternoon tea the special touches for the mums were so kind. It was also such a treat having it delivered to the door.
Everything was top notch. Would definitely order again.

We had the Christmas at home meal and it was fabulous! Instructions were really clear and easy to follow, the portions were a great size and food absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend. And we can't wait to try the new at home menu!

What a lovely small hotel. Very stylish decor, our room had a high ceiling, which made it light & airy.
We received a warm welcome and the room was equipped with everything you would need.

Awesome overnight escape, The Coach House has everything you could want, great accommodation, lovely food, friendly staff.

Only stayed for one night but everything was lovely. From the greeting in reception upon arrival to the lovely lady who gave me a lift into the village to pick up my car when I left. My room was lovely and nipping clean. Breakfast was so fresh and tasty with such a good choice. Highly recommend.

Stayed for a friends wedding at LPC last night. Staff were so friendly and helpful, taking our bags to our room and organising us a taxi.
Everywhere was clean and tidy with a nice comfy bed.
Breakfast the next morning was delicious with lots to choose from. Would definitely recommend x.

The building is beautiful as is the interior. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The food was delicious as was the wine and the Otterburn estate and village is really interesting with loads to explore. Will definitely return.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it's an absolute hidden gem. Our room was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated, beds comfy and a sizable en suite. The food was amazing, so tasty, piping hot and well presented. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced and a good selection available. Both the owners and staff are exceptionally friendly pleasant and had plenty of suggestions of places to visit. We had a memorable stay and will definitely return.

Great stay at The Coach House after a wedding at the neighbouring Petit Chateaux. Lovely room, comfortable bed, staff were so helpful and breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay again. Thank you x.

One of the best meals ever. Pork Belly and Black Pudding mmmmmmmmmmmm.

We were given this 2day break as a golden wedding present and were very pleased by the choice. We had the 5course sampler menu which was beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff were attentive and very friendly. 11/10 for service. We'll definitely come back!

Stayed over last night and loved it. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing. Staff were excellent even giving us a lift to Woodhill Hall for our friends wedding evening. The cooked breakfast was spot on and set us up for the day. Would we stay here again… definitely, without question.

Food was very well presented and of excellent quality. The restaurant area is very pleasant, clean and decorated well. Staff very helpful and good customer service.

I have just enjoyed a family Sunday lunch at The Coach House. I had smoked salmon starter, Rib of beef and sticky toffee pudding and everything was excellent quality and perfectly cooked. Compliments to the chef! Great service and a good selection of quality wines. An excellent meal and all for only £19.95 for 3 courses. Highly recommended, thanks.

Sign outside said restaurant open until 9pm we arrived at 8.30pm and the chef said he had turned everything off. He was stood at the bar drinking a bottle of lager. Girl behind the bar was friendly and nice decor. But they turned away 4 girls who would of spent money on food and drink. Clearly the chef wanted an early finish very unprofessional!

As we are staying in Dove lodge on Otterburn Hall Estate. We came to the Coach House for a meal. Very warm welcome to us and our dog. The food was excellent. The service was superb. Would highly recommend this place to friends. Can't wait to come here again.

It was our last night in Otterburn after the best week here and my daughter found this place by chance on the internet and we decided to come here. I have to say it was the best ending to a lovely holiday. Beautiful place, out of this world food and the loveliest lady who waited on us. So thank you to all at the Coach House we will come back here again and will highly recommend it to friends. Thanks a million. Xx.

Nice place and nice, clean room. Highlight was probably the breakfast, they were very accommodating with our vegan order and had alternative milk and breakfasts available. The staff work very hard to make sure you have a good stay. My only complaint would be that there is no mobile reception and the Wi-Fi was pretty useless.

Lovely rooms for the price and service was excellent. Unhappy with room that lacked Wi-Fi signal, was instantly moved and was allowed to try other rooms to see which I was happy with.

We spent a night at The Coach House when attending a wedding locally. It's a gem of a place! Our room was beautifully decorated, well equipped and very comfortable. The new owners are very welcoming and accommodating, and the breakfast was the perfect antidote the morning after the wedding. We will definitely visit again, next time with our dog, and look forward to sampling the food menu when it launches. Thank you Gemma & Paul x.

Lovely big room, gorgeous surroundings, nice staff…

I had a stay at the Coach House in Otterburn on Friday 19th May for a wedding in the village. A lovely hotel, very friendly owners who were so accommodating to all my needs and requests. The hotel was immaculately clean and the breakfast! Well what can I say! Freshly cooked to order full English with pastries, yoghurts and the works, gorgeous. I would highly recommend a stay there if you ever find yourself in the area. Gorgeous Northumberland countryside and so quite and scenic. Lovely stay and congratulations to the owners for a lovely experience.
