Came for Sunday lunch today and weren’t disappointed! Brilliant service, Covid measures in place. We ate in the bar, as it’s dog friendly and they could accommodate gluten free.
We’d return definitely.

Lovely pub near the Pennine way and Scotland, the rooms are really nice and comfortable and the views from your bedroom are fantastic.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and even fed my dog a dish of beef scraps and of course our lunch was great too.

This is a lovely place to have a meal and a quiet drink my husband and I been a few times and never had a bad experience and we will be back again soon.

I love this place, stayed for 3 nights, views are amazing, the rooms are clean, really good value for money, the food was lush, staff are brilliant, couldn't do enough for me, (even helped to get my car out when it was stuck in snow) perfect place to watch the stars, will be back soon, great place for a night away.

Great, well kept beer, good tasty food at reasonable cost, if your passing give it a try, I don't think you'll find better along that route.

We just called in for lunch. They allow dogs which is handy for us. We have been for meals several times over the last couple of years as we stay in a local cottage. Meals always fine and the staff are friendly.

Had a very good dinner there. They have gluten free alternative for most of the manu. They also offered gluten free option for breakfast with gluten free sausage and bread on request.

We went to the redesdale two nights in a row. First for a quiet drink, and the second we tried the restaurant. We were staying not far at the boarder forist holiday park 5* and was recommended the redesdale, the food was great, the pub was lovely and the staff were fantastic.

We stopped at The Redesdale Arms for dinner last night, and I'd highly recommend it. The atmosphere was lovely helpful staff. There was a good choice of food on the menu, at reasonable prices. When the food was served it was piping hot, and really was excellent value for money. I'd definitely return.

Called in here with my girlfriend after our first wedding planning meeting at nearby Woodhill hall. They have a fabulous varied menu and pleased to find out that they catered for gluten free too. A good find and ended our morning off nicely! Lovely, attentive, helpful staff made it an added bonus!

This was the second Mother's Day we'd spent here for a meal. The staff were nothing short of fantastic once again. The food was superb and with a good selection for our vegetarian Mams. The kids were well catered for and loved playing in the small adjacent garden. Set in stunning scenery, the Redesdale is simply the best family orientated venue we've found. We'll definitely be back.

Have stayed here several times. Service is excellent and staff are lovely. Food choices are very wide and varied and food is cooked to perfection and to request. Excellent attention to detail especially food allergies and great effort is taken to ensure that those who suffer are offered their choices or appetising alternatives so far as is possible. Good beer, comfy beds and clean rooms with choices of decaf coffee rounds off a really good experience. Thoroughly recommended.

A fantastic stay at the Redesdale Arms!
We revived a very warm welcome on arrival and checked in to our lovely spacious room with a beautiful view of the garden.
We were fortunate enough to enjoy a couple of drinks outside as it was a nice sunny evening.
The menu had plenty of choice of local dishes and well as some traditional pub classics. My partner and I both picked Northumbrian dishes and were not disappointed at all. The food was very enjoyable and pipping hot too!
After a very comfortable sleep we received another warm welcome in the morning when we went to the dining room for breakfast. We both opted for a traditional full English breakfast and once again we were not disappointed.
I can't fault anything at all about our stay and will definitely be recommending the Redesdale Arms to our friends and we will be returning soon too.

What can I say apart from its a Great place to stay:-) ) ) ) ) Friendly homely and very welcomeing and the bedrooms fresh clean tidy and the bar relaxing and friendly. Eat in the dinning room with lovely pictures on the wall and very nice and pleasant room to eat in. I have stayed here now 2 times and this time brought the sun shine with me:-) ) ) ) was lovely to sit out and have a drink or 2 befor my evening meal. Both nights the food was perfect and very filling that I could not manage a dessert: — ( ( ( (Slept great on both nights as beds very comfy. Carrol and Mark a really lovely couple run this place so well and make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The staff on the bar happy friendly chatty people and look like they really enjoy working there and righty so its a great place. Its great if you like walking or if like me would rather go for a drive in the car as must say some really beautiful sights to take it a must for your Camera:-) ) ) ) ).
