Absolutely fabulous place. Attention to detail at the price is the reason it is 5 star. Aileen will make you so very welcome. Beautiful grounds and great hospitality. What a breakfast! If you are in the Melrose area book this place for the night.

Have just spent three nights at this gorgeous luxury B&B. Amazing views over to the Eildon hills. The garden and house is stunning. Comfortable bed and fluffy large bath towels.
Sheila and Ian are delightful hosts, the breakfasts are superb and nothing is too much trouble. They even provide a turn down service and bed side light on so my room was welcoming on my return from evenings out. Complimentary Sherry, fresh apples and a wee jar of sweeties just added to the ambience. I can thoroughly recommend.

We can't begin to express how much of pleasure it was to stay at Fauhope House with Sheila and Ian. They went above and beyond to make our stay so special, with a warm welcome of wine on arrival and a gorgeous fire lit in a very lovely lounge. The rooms were well presented, exceptionally clean and very comfortable with many additional details and thought which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Breakfast was also lovely with a great selection all freshly cooked and made to order.
The grounds and house itself were incredibly beautiful with Melrose a short walk away and well worth a visit.
We couldn't recommend highly enough and hope to visit again in the future!

Simply the most beautiful accommodation in a truly amazing setting. This a lovely part of the world and only a short hop to the beautiful city of Edinburgh. The owners are the most caring and customer focused people you could wish for and can recommend some beautiful restaurants / dining on your doorstep. You can't put a price on quality, and this is the most amazing and perfect B&B you could ever wish for. Simply 1st Class!
