Food overpriced. Frozen Chips with my Haddock and peas like bullets. (use petit pois) Other dishe's good and Staff excellent.
A wonderfully located hotel to meet our means, provided exceptional support by providing breakfasts for 8 allowing us to travel to the Scottish Open golf and miss little golf on our recent visit. Would recommend this great hotel to anyone travelling either north or south. Finally the standard of food was second to none. Looking forward staying again next year. Well done.

Popped in for dinner after eating here last year and it didn’t disappoint the second time round. We sat in the bar area with the dog who was made welcome. The range on the menu was varied and both of us, who have very different tastes, were spoilt for choice. The staff are friendly, and if we are back in Melrose, we will return here for food.
