Fabulous meal and great atmosphere and heading upstairs to the club after. Everything under one roof.

Loved the food and service just wasn’t happy when I went to the toilet and when I came back my wine and food was all away.

Great stay here last night. Service was excellent as was the food. Special mention to Therese who was at reception. She could not have been more pleasant or helpful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wasn’t a great mixed grill. The meat was very fatty. I had to spend an extra £4 for chips. £19 total and it still didn’t look value for money.

The music was good but have to say, the bar staff were extremely slow and ignored lots of people, I waited 40 minutes for one drink and one girl behind the bar with pink hair was trying to get us not to buy certain drinks which I thought was very rude and unprofessional, she also argued with a customer and her colleagues while I waited for my drink, awful experience.

Led to believe there was a nightclub opened upstairs. Myself and my friend were then charged £5 admission for said nightclub only to be turned back by security staff and told that the attendance was too poor to warrant opening the nightclub. When I asked the lady who collected the admission fee about this she intimated that the £5 charge was for moving from one bar area to another. No suggestion of refund was proferred Fee charged was for a product or service not fit for purpose. My advice, don't be conned or duped. This establishment up to this point was a pleasant experience, sadly this episode left a sour taste of so called excellent Northern Ireland hospitality. An unfortunate blot on your copybook.

Great place to stay, breakfast great and staff very friendly. Assistant restaurant manager Nigel very attentive who went over and above for our wedding anniversary. Would recommend.

Great few days in Portstewart. The Anchor is a great spot for Live sport coverage (rugby) and live music (fri night) 🤗. Friendly staff.

Food was delicious, and they had my favourite dessert on which is mint aero cheesecake. Staff very friendly and checked to see everything was OK or did did we need anything else. Would highly recommend this place for food. Was nicely decorated for Halloween which my daughter loved x.

Went to portstewart for a weekend away Friday til Sunday and I stayed at the Anchorage inn hotel and the experience I got is amazing the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful with anything I needed. The food is top quality with so many tasty food to choose from 10/10. Bedrooms are made to perfection the beds are the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the TV channels with nextflix and YouTube are brilliant. Lastly the night life is like no other with a nightclub up to high standards with amazing drinks along with the bar in the hotel. I will definitely be back.

Staff are so attentive and lovely! The atmosphere is brilliant and the fire is perfect for cold nights! Never a bad experience with the anchor staff. Thank you.

Steak came out with nearly a heartbeat when was asked to be well done, went to pay and the foreign waitress charged us wrongly, called upon the manager whom was very unhelpful and ignorant towards us, so we got up and left with no apology or anything rectified, food was 2 out of 10 like something you’d get in primary school.

I stayed here last sunday the stay was good as was the breakfast. But when we checked out. And got home I realised I left my new tommy Hilfiger Tshit which cost £70. I phoned right away to be told they would check and let me know. Had to call back twice then to be told nothing was found in my room. As I know the t shir was set on the bed and defendily was in the room. So I would advise anyone staying here to be careful. With your belongings as obviously the staff cannot be trusted.

Great room and location. It has all its own evening entertainment but close to other places for a handy pub crawl. Breakfast is cooked when ordered and so is fresh and varied.

Garlic bread heated in micro. Steak tough. Staff friendly and quick service.

Food was nice unfortunately sister in laws chicken was not cook still very pink inside. Head of house that seated us was very rude he rushed us and made us feel uneasy when trying to finish our drinks. Bill was handed to us without being asked for then our table was completely cleared when we where still drinking and my son was eating his desert. Very unfortunate as our food was very nice.

Excellent restaurant food served in the bar also. Prominent position close to promenade and community recreation facilities. Excellent service too.

My old student haunt, still great craic and great grub. We were taken last minute just before the kitchens shut so we were very grateful to the gentleman working front of house. Also catered well for those of us with dietary restrictions! Brilliant night. Looking forward to coming back already.

10 pm hit and the thumping base started. This wasn't a distant thump but actually vibrating items in the room. I went to investigate and it turns out they have a night club attached that's open on Tuesday nights. I requested that they turn down the base and the bar manager, who is in charge of the hotel at night, said too bad you booked a room in a hotel with a night club. He said we had the Furthest room away. There is no proper noise isolation from the club and unless you like the sound of a car with booming base I strongly suggest you not stay here.

Good beer, good food, good craic. Roaring fire in the winter. Air con in the summer.

Very good food. Toms trio of sausages is incredible and comes with a lovely whiskey sauce.

Stayed overnight for our wedding anniversary. Nice room. Massive bed. Clean room. Had steak dinner and processco. Lovely! Friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty. We had the obligatory anchor fry.

Recently refurbished this is Portstewart best kept secret The food is exceptional reasonably priced and it is not the huddle and bustle of Portrush jam packed eating houses I'm sure it will not be quiet after this post Thourourly recommended.

The food was absolutely amazing and the service great. All the staff were very kind. The toilets were immaculate.

Food was lovely and the staff were good. Price was reasonable but not cheap and the place was clean and modern. They were also accommodating to families.

We were just there for drinks but the fight was on so it was crammed and there wasn't much space. Service was good though.
