What can I say absolutely perfect location, these cottages are so cosy and spotlessly clean, all you need is yourself and some food and beverages, everything laid on, the owners are so friendly and helpful. I have been here on numerous occasions and pg will be returning again. So relaxing and peaceful. Close to all amenities. Just fabulous.

Just back from an overnight stay in the cottages and I am do delighted with everything, so much so we have booked in again for another 2 stays! Elaine is so lovely and helped with everything we needed. The cottages are spotlessly clean and absolutely beautiful. Really looking forward to getting back!

Just returned from a night away at good cottages. The place was spotless and so relaxing. Elaine was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and am definitely going to stay again.

My group was due to stay at Good Cottages however our trip was cancelled due to COVID-19. Despite not staying here yet, I decided to write a review on my experience with Good Cottages. Elaine was extremely helpful, not only with sorting the accommodation but also recommending activities and taxi services. She was lovely over the phone, reassuring me around our visit in an uncertain time. When we cancelled the trip, she refunded our deposit immediately. I can’t recommend Elaine enough and I hope that I will be able to stay at Good Cottages in the (hopefully) not too distant future.

Just back from an amazing trip to NI and Good cottages. It was a last minute booking for us but what a find! Elaine and Wesley were so helpful and always on hand with any local tips and advice. The cottages are big, beautiful and sparklingly clean. Highly recommend the bbq hygge hut experience. We loved it so much my father-in-law is thinking of getting one for himself! Looking forward to staying again in the near future.

Elaine cottages are amazing! I have no faults with anything! I stayed there the night before my wedding and had the best nights sleep considering. She is a lovely person. Very helpful. I would 100% recommend these cottages.

Great place to stay been twice now and will be back again. 100% recommended.

Our first time staying here and will definitely be back. The warmest of welcomes and even some shortbread in with out tea and coffee supplies. The cottage was immaculate and the beds super comfy cant wait to return.

Absolutely fantastic overnight stay for my cousins hen do! Everyone had a brillant time and Elaine & Wesley were the best hosts and couldn't of done any more for us, they were only on the end of the phone if needed! Open fire in the living room and welcome baskets were just the cherry on the cake! Cottages where very cosy and the BBQ hut was just perfect for toasting some Marshmallows and making Smores! Perfect. Clean, spacious, easy access, peaceful, private, brilliant hospitality and atmosphere, homely, warm, everything works in it like fridges and cookers and dishwashers, amazing giant shower to relax under. Picnic benches outside you door, green lawns, very comfortable beds… The owners we're so nice it was absolutely the best I have ever been in.

Absolutely amazing accommodation an very clean tidy cottages with everything you can possibly need to make your stay feel like your at home in a perfectly peaceful location… great wee escape … hostess is one of the most loveliest nicest ladies you could ever met … I WILL BE BACK.

Amazing cottages, set in a lovely area in Moria, cottages are stunning, everything you could want a proper home from home with lovely hosts. Highly recommended.

This was our third visit at Good Cottages and we are already planning next years reservation. Welcoming hosts Elaine and Wesley are always ready with any help.
Or advice needed so we feel right at home in the quiet, comfortable and well equipped cottages. Set like a little village in beautifully kept grounds but still within reach.
Of Lisburn and even the M1. Looking forward to our next holidays!

A must stay spot for anybody’s visit to Northern Ireland! Unbelievably welcoming stay. Both Elaine and Wesley are kind, friendly and very particular about making your experience at the cottages one to remember and one that you will return to over and over again! We’ve stayed in the cottages on numerous occasions and cannot recommend them highly enough. Everything is in place right down those details that really do make the difference — even the stoves are stacked ready for y…ou to get cosy with the strike of a match You couldn’t pick accommodation in a better location with the two great villages (Moira and Hillsborough) close-by — both buzzing with shops, restaurants and cosy welcoming bars! Belfast is just a short drive or hop on the train so if you’re looking for a tour of the up and coming city then this is easily accessible. We had family over for our wedding and the Good family were unbelievably welcoming to a group who talk about how they enjoyed their stay to this day! We’re looking forward to our next stay and with the addition of the new garden BBQ house it can’t come quick enough! 10/10

My first visit to N. I for a family wedding. Staying at Good cottages was fantastic, couldn't of asked for more lovely owners there.
Fantastic cottage massive house with 3 bathrooms — great for everyone getting ready. Peaceful location with central to the area for sight-seeing. I will be definitely be staying here again when I am over. The added extra of a fantastic BBQ hut to hire. Also 2 horses in field next to our garden that are very friendly. Thank you Elaine & Wes for a fabulous stay.

Our family of 12 stayed at Good cottages over the weekend whilst attending a family members funeral. Elaine and her husband made sure we had everything we could possibly need to make our stay as stress free and as comfortable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and the cottages were absolutely immaculate. So homely and spacious. We will never forget what you have done for our family and will definitely be back to stay again soon. Thank you xxx.

Rooms and people are really nice all you need. Cottages have everything you need and very clean the owner is very friendly and helpful would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at Good Cottages for my sister's wedding which was local — the location could not have been more perfect. It was only a couple of minutes away from the wedding and was only 20 minutes from the airport. On arrival, Elaine welcomed us and we already felt at home — it was hard not to as she was so welcoming, vibrant, and bubbly! The cottage was huge and beautifully decorated — very spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. Elaine had already decked the kitchen out with eggs, ham, cheese, tea, coffee, bread — you name it. Elaine was really encouraging and though we didn't have any problems whatsoever, we knew that we could have gone to her if we had needed anything. I would encourage anyone and everyone to stay here — absolutely beautiful and a great memory! There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful it was!

We had a great stay at the cottages in July. We had a large group of young people and leaders staying so used all the cottages. Elaine was incredibly helpful and hospitable. The cottages were perfect for our group and were so beautiful. It was great to have such a nice accommodation for our big group!

I have stayed at the good cottages twice! The cottages are lovely, well equipped, spacious the beds are really comfy and nothing is too much trouble for Elaine the owner to make sure you have everything you need. We had amazing weather and inbetween visiting family we went to giantscausway, silent valley, walked over the rope bridge, Newcastle beach, Bangor marina and pony trekking in the mountains even managed to go to the dark hedges and other places where Game of thrones was filmed.

Thank you Elaine and Wesley for a great few days! You couldn’t have done anymore for us and were such a laugh! Two diamonds!

Excellent Accommodation and Great Location A group of five of us stayed at these cottages on the weekend of August 26th. The cottages were spotless and had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and greeted us on arrival and gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to do. The location was perfect for touring Belfast and Northern Ireland. I would highly recommend this accommodation and it was excellent value for money.

A massive thank you to Elaine for the fantastic hospitality she showed to me and my family in the run up to and after my wedding! :) Accommodation was second to none, it was a great place for my family and me and my bridesmaids to.

Very friendly and great cottages best holiday we have had it's like being at home but being on holiday as well you need to go to find out, it was so relaxing we will be going back G&R.

Trawled through the internet for somewhere and found Good Cottages. Brilliant change from the sterile budget hotels which are pricey in Belfast. Booked direct with owner and received a warm friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. High quality accommodation finished to a very high standard, giving plenty of flexibility to my group. In the middle of nowhere yet just a mile from the motorway making it an ideal base from which to explore. Heaven.

If you want to treat yourself to a weekend in Belfast then look no further. This immaculate 2 bedroom apartment is just a 5 minute stroll from the heart of the city. Fully equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. Just turn up and enjoy. Looking forward to coming back soon.

I recently stayed with my children at these cottages and just had to recommend them! Not only was the decor excellent, tranquil setting in the country, convenience to the Motorway all superb but the high standard of cleanliness (and luxuries) resulted in a perfect holiday. The couple who own these cottages are so professional as well as warm and friendly and made us most welcome! We will definitely return and would recommend them to anyone.
