Excellent campsite only 5 minutes drive from bryansford with great facilities for all the campers needs. Free carpark and good cafe looking straight into the Mournes at hare's gap.

Ideal for getting air in your lungs and outstanding views. All family orientated, good facilities and food on site.

Apart from it being in the most beautiful place, the food is lovely cooked just right. But best of all, the staff treet you like family. Loved it.

Great place to visit peace and quiet and beautiful scenery. Only negative there was no shop close buy for milk bread or wee treats at night. I will definitely revisit again. Jean.

Excellent spot, really well run and great facilities (all very clean). Able to walk straight into the mountains from the campsite. Will definitely be there again.

Good place to rest after few days of mountains rumbling. If you did not book in advance there might be a problem with getting room after 6pm (our visit was on May). Otherwise everything was fine.

I normally use the free parking facility for camping in the mournes. Nice clean facilities and great for something to eat or a coffee after a hike or camp. Recommended.

I stopped for a rest break and something to eat. They have a wonderful menu with tasty food. There are great views o the mountain range just out the back door. It was a busy day but there was plenty of parking nonetheless (space for about 60 vehicles). I had a great meal, used their Wi-Fi, had great views and the facilities were clean as well. I did not know this place existed but I'm glad I stopped. Turns out it was the only place to stop on the drive around the mountains from the north end.

Best porridge in county down. Great service amazing views and fresh new facility.

Was here for Christmas Dinner. Food was delicious and there was loads of it. Staff were very friendly.

Friendly staff clean modern toilet and shower block great place to start a days hiking in the mournes or stay for a few days, good car parking.

Great spot at the bottom of Mourne mountains, price range is fantastic for staying. Has a café with good food for good prices.

The view was stunning and the location is around 20mins from Newcastle. There are communal toilets and water. Staying in a weekend the site was busy and loud, not something I was keen on. There are fire pits available and as they had all been taken, we were aloud to use our own. There is a onsite cafe and rooms available is tenting isn't your thing.

Camping for 2 nights over the weekend. Great spot with good facilities however there were too many people allowed to camp so that the staff in the cafe and the cleaning staff could not cope with the demand. The toilets were always out of toilet paper and the bin area was overflowing. They also did not enforce a quiet time so loud music from some (minority) could be heard until about 3:30am. Would love to return again if they are able to make improvements.

Great facilities for an overnight camp. One of few campsites in Northern Ireland where a campfire is permitted and wood is supplied. Bistro on site for those not so into their camp food. Great views of and easy access to the Mourne Mountains.

Went for overnight stay at campsite. Really enjoyed it and facilities were first class. Cafe was also very good. I would recommend it for a camping trip.

Great wee place for camping and lovely cafe and staff there. Only problem I had and it stopped me from giving it 5 stars is that it doesn't appear anyone checks the toilets there was no toilet rolls and it was a bit messy. Next time I will just bring my own roll. Apart from this the place is great.

Great spot for refreshments after a hike. Enjoyed a large raspberry and white chocolate scone. Very reasonably priced.

Excellent location looked on Hare's Gap. Very clean and well looked after. Bistro is delicious and staff are very attentive and polite. The food is good and really well priced. Amazing selection of traybakes and treats also. Perfect for families or hikers etc. Huge camp area too.

Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff. We tried out the bistro for a wee bite to eat. Food was lovely, a bigger selection than I expected. The portions were pretty big, especially the spong and custard for dessert! HUGE! Great service, will definitely be back.

Nice place to stay at a decent price. Was warm and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Would happily go again if on another hike in the area.

Great place to enter the mournes from. Perfect for access to hares gap. Have never used the services here other than for parking but I have never had any issues. I believe family camping is available here in summer.
