Had a really lovely dinner here last night. Service was also great. We also got food to take away a few weeks ago and the nut roast meal was excellent.

Ordered 2 chicken stacks for dinner this evening through the just eat app. Food arrived quickly was hot and tasted delicious. Will be ordering Sunday dinner more often from Pier 36

We had salted chilli chicken and it was the best meal I've had in ages. Absolutely delicious.

Was out with our dog and drove 40mins to go here tonight. Absolutely amazing! Food was excellent, staff were great! They were soo so good to our wee dog! She LOVED all the attention! Will be back! Thanks guys 😁

Service was absolutely diabolical came in as a party of 3 and was set at a 2 seater table they asked for our drinks and didn’t ask what they could do for the child that was with us, was not given a menu for the child and got a child seat with no table ontop of it, sat for another 20 minutes and no one was round to take an order for food ended up walking out and paying for our two drinks Honestly worst restaurant I’ve ever been to and we won’t be back anytime soon wouldn’t recommend to anyone 👎🏽

Ordered a takeaway to Bangor, food was roasting, kept the starters for later as the steaks were amazing, well packaged & the food was still restaurant quality! Would order every night if I could, very pleased.

Lovely food, have been getting the roast takeaway dinners for my granny the last two weeks. The service is fabulous very friendly and accommodating. The meals are delicious and the highlight of her week. Thank you!

Had lovely dinner on sat there I tell ya brill like the sf chicken burger was massive and so tasty well worth the money.

Absolutely adore this place. A wide variety of menu and lunch time specials. Good quality food and tastes delicious. Good value for money.

First time at Pier 36 definitely won't be my last. Food was outstanding and plenty of it. Good menu plenty to chose from. Staff helpful and friendly. Quaint setting.

Food is absolutely first class and there is a really pleasant atmosphere, particularly in the front bar. Service is good and the front bar is dog friendly which is brilliant too! Highly, highly recommended.

Stayed for my husbands birthday in the Drake room. Lovely view of the harbour, clean room and bathroom, great shower, comfy bed and very roomy. It was also very quiet considering it is close to the restaurant and bar. We booked a meal in the resturant and went with what the waiting staff recommended. We got 2 lovely starters and meals — the fish was excellent. Staff were very attentive and friendly and the cost was very reasonable. Breakfast was really great in the morning and again all staff were very friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Visited today to celebrate my sister's birthday. Eight of us and we got a private room which was great as the talk got quite bawdy. Couldn't fault the food or service. Great day had by us all.

Well 2 nights I a row. Last night (fri) was there wine tasting such a perfect night food and company spot on. Tonight out for family dinner. Thank you was amazing x.

My wife have dined at Pier 36 on several occasions. The food is outstanding, the surroundings are delightful. The best thing is, they allow dogs in the bar area. We will go back there again and again.

Way over-rated and pricey for what you get. Pretty tasteless fayre. Tempura prawns in a heavy gooey batter; fish bland, and chips way overcooked (fine if you like your chips a dark brown colour). Restaurant wasn't even half full yet they managed to totally mess up, forgetting one of our mains (so that person had to eat theirs whilst we had all finished). Had to laugh at the Michelin stickers in the window. Nothing to do with quality of the food, rather the tires on their cars!

I used to be a regular here many years ago and then family life with 2 small children took over. I can honestly say I cant wait to go back! The restaurant is very family friendly and the food was outstanding. I had smoked steak (medium) and it was delicious. :) :)

I booked a table for four for mother's day weekend. We were cramped in beside other customers along the wall of the restaurant. A quiet lunch for four felt more like a group of 24. The other half of the restaurant had free seating and the groups could have been spread out more. The smoked Cod dish my girlfriend ordered came out raw and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The cutlery was replaced but the dish wasn't. Instead the fish had been removed and cooked correctly and the remaining dish, mash potatoes and broccoli, must have been under heat which left it dry. To cover this up the dish was smothered in fresh sauce. My girlfriend was put off eating the dish after having eaten the first bite which was raw. This is our third visit to Pier 36 and we were all very disappointed with the food and customer service. I was hoping to take my mother and father out for a mother's day lunch treat but it was ruined. When I paid for the meal I wasn't asked if everything was OK or offered any discount.

Excellent food. Not the biggest range of food but what they do they do well. Really well seasoned and well cooked steaks. They allow patrons to bring their dogs in and they are always so we'll behaved and friendly. It's a really nice atmosphere and I'm also quite a fan of the sundaes!
