Beautiful meal tonight, and the staff were fabulous too, wish I had room for desert too! The steak was beyond amazing, and the chips where amazing, I couldn’t finish and it was so nice it was hard to leave! Will definitely be back and will go mains and desert next time as the cheese cake really caught me eye!

Had a gift voucher for afternoon tea, dissatisfied didn't listen to my tolerances or allergys when I told them they give me exactly the same as before so I couldn't eat anything, it's a shame nice place and service was good,

Went this evening with my family. I had a groupon voucher for 2 adults which included 2 courses and a drink each. We brought my girls and they had from the childrens menu. The menu was absolutely gorgeous, every course we all enjoyed, big portions and beautifully presented. The waiter and waitress were lovely and we will absolutely be visiting again. Lovely people lovely food, perfect family meal.

Just had a fantastic meal here — all three courses were delicious and seriously just over 30 quid with a couple of pints! At the staff were so friendly too, if you’re travelling over this way definitely look at stopping here the value is exceptional.

Awesome festive feast at The Lemon Tree today. We had the enormous festive deli board which was absolutely delicious. We'll be back to try their afternoon teas. Great service too.

Food was delicious and staff are brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, had an excellent evening last night, thank you.

Me and my partner stayed here lastnight, we had dinner and breakfast included. The dinner was amazing, so tasty and great presentation. Breakfast was nice too. The room was small but nice. Would stay again x.

A good variety of fillings in the sandwiches but let down because the bread had gone dry and hard. 4 quarter sandwiches per person, was a disappointment along with tiny cubes of dry cakes. My friend had requested plain sandwiches at the time of booking so on arriving request if she could have a plain sandwich, this followed by two quarter sandwiches of cheese with onion, how mean, I have never dined anywhere that was accurately mean with their portion, what would a further two quarter sandwiches have cost them. In total our bill was £47 plus a voucher. It wasn’t until later that evening I noticed we were billed for the pots of tea.
Good luck with your business. I would recommend the hotelier to take a leaf out of the Ramada hotel.

Amazing food and even better service! Will definitely come again. Perfect venue for a celebration and really good value for the quality of food. Would 100% recommend.

Just lush oh apart from the raw salmon lol but that's just my taste or should I say not my taste lovely friendly staff.

5 stars. Beautiful place and rooms where clean and tidy with all the facilities you need along with friendly and helpful staff.

Visited for afternoon tea on family reccomendation. Quite dissapointed felt like we were a nuisance. Waiting staff put food on the table and dissapeared not to be seen again. Choice of savoury limited as we asked for no fish. Nobody asked if we wanted more refreshments. Altogether a distinctly under average experience.

Paid £14.50 for afternoon tea we were served one platter between 5 of us which was ridiculous… literally got 1 of everything! And even then the scones were hard, food was dry not good at all. Manager said we booked on groupon which we didn’t! So goes to show groupon customers get crap service! Wouldn’t recommend at all, Shame really!

The menu is modern and well executed. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. All round good experience in Wrexham.

We stayed at the Lemon Tree for the first time on a visit to Bangor races in July … It was a lovely stay … The staff were very friendly and accommodating … the room was lovely and clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent including the service … It was a last minute booking but all in all it was an excellent choice Thank you we will definitely be back.

This is our second stay here and as last time we found the staff to be very welcoming, friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable! Will always come back here when visiting!

Had afternoon tea and it was delicious. We were not rushed and staff were really attentive without being overpowering … well done — I'll be booking again.

Just had our third anniversary meal here, everything was perfect, could not fault a single thing, the mango parcels were paired beautifully with a pesto rocket salad, the goats cheese tart tatin was stunning, and the brûlée came with a homemade marshmallow, I hate marshmallows normally but this was unbelievable, could eat it for the rest of my life. Steve and Matt provided flawless service and we had such a lovely evening with them. Recommend thank you so much.

Had a lovely family meal for my Nans birthday. All of the food was cooked amazingly and presented beautifully. There was an unfortunate mix up with the main courses but the staff rectified the situation quickly and efficiently. Our server was very professional and polite. All staff were lovely and attentive, always happy to help. Will definitely be back!

Had afternoon tea here — only one of each item available when sharing so not worth £12.50 in my opinion. Also afternoon tea should be served in china teapots not stainless steel! Not up to my expectations I'm afraid.

Had afternoon tea today. The sandwiches were a good mix but the bread was a little dry, cakes and scones were lovely, only came to ask if we wanted more tea when we had finished our food. This is why I have given a 3 star and not a 5

Booked afternoon tea for 1 adult and 2 teens for my daughter's 15th birthday at a cost of £12 per head. When the food arrived there were 4 finger sandwiches each and 1 each of the 5 cakes which were mini sized. We were asked if we would like anymore sandwiches once we had eaten what they had given us, they fetched 6 more finger sized out. For the price tag of £36.00 I thought this was rather poor amount of food for 3 people. Very disappointed customer went home hungry.

Great place to stay, comfy bed and good shower. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and plenty of it.

On first look the place looks lovely but then you look a bit harder and the decor could do with updating, there is paint crumbling off the walls, lots of scuff marks on chairs. I ordered the sea bass which was £13.75. I did not enjoy it there was something not right about the taste. It would have been ok for a standard pub meal but very over expensive for the quality and taste. The staff didn't make our experience very enjoyable. I had to get up and get my own straw, because no one came over to us for so long. Overall very disappointed with the meal/experience.

Had a wee lunch here, the restaurant is very clean and the food was very nice. It's a little posh without being over the top. Would definitely recommend.

BrillIant restaurant! The food was spectacular and the staff incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us. Haven't had such a lovely all round dining experience in a long time — this place is amazing and I would highly recommend it. We will be visiting again very soon :)

Friendly, time travel to 1988. That said, the steak I ordered was one of the best I have had in recent years. So top marks lemon tree.

Had our Wedding Breakfast, and recoetion here. The food and staff where fantastic. However the reason for 4 and not 5 stars is we stayed there the night before our honeymoon. The room was okay however the cold tap didn't work on the bath and the hot tap on the sink, and was a little mould around the glass shower panel.

Had lovely food booked with groupon so thought the menu would be limited. There was plenty of choice and the wine was good. Definitely recommend it, was good value for money.

Food not that good for the price of it. And the staff could have a better approach with the customers the lady who served us her attitude was awful. Nothing was great about this place to be honest.

We visited for afternoon tea. The restaurant is very nice. Light and airy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. When the afternoon tea came, we were pleasantly surprised at the items. We enjoyed the whole experience. We would recommend The Lemon Tree to anyone.

Went with a Groupon code as a gift, for Afternoon Tea (pictured) — which should retail for £30. Finger sandwiches, toasted plum cake, cream cake, a test tube of chocolate mouse and stale scones, with pots of tea or coffee. All quite nice but the scones, which we did not finish. Stars deducted because of the scones, and the service, which since we obviously didn't 'belong' as the typical clientele, was shocking. Verdict: attend if you are of a certain class.

Good food and some nice veggie / vegan options. We were the only ones eating here on our eve so no idea what its like when busy. But food was great very friendly service. If recommend for food.

Stayed here Saturday 27th January. Arrived about 19.00 after working all day looks fine from the outside went to reception. Room was booked though work, couldn't find the booking at first but I had printed the confirmation and handed this over once found I was asked for payment which has never happened before (strange I thought). Went to my room for a shower. Came back down to reception asked if I could see a menu was told there wasn't any table's I didn't say I was going to eat here. There is a vibe in this place and not in a nice way. Went to bed without meal. Up early didn't stay for breakfast didn't want you spend a other minute here. Know where I'm not wanted. Reported this place to my company.

Took my mum here for afternoon tea was very happy with the service we received and the food was lovely would definitely go again.

Lovely staff, happy and friendly. Food was good apart the steak which was more well done than medium rare. Very long wait for starters over 40 minutes. Not up to its usual standard tonight I'm afraid.

Lovely little place to stay, didn't get to try the food on this occasion but drinks were nice selection. Was a bit noisy in the evening in the rooms and I found the bed too hard, probably wouldn't stay again but would visit to try the food.

This is the second year we have been as a large family (24 last christmas. 16 last night) for a meal, on both occasions our food was excellent + the service was great. Im sure we will be returning again next year.

After seeing the Fb advertisement for a 'hearty breakfast' me and a friend decided to go as treat! First impressions were good lovely room and decor. We rang the bell and quickly a staff member appeared, we stated we had come for breakfast. The Staffs reaction was a little shocked (perhaps she didn't know about the fb advertisement? We were shown to our table given menu offered tea/coffee and items off breakfast table, which was laid after our arrival and was very limited! (Maybe all the morning customers ate all the fresh fruit and freshly baked breads) Ordered a breakfast (staff informed us there was no mushrooms) (my tips for chef try make sure there's no shell left on egg and don't poach an egg until it's solid) apart from that breakfast was ok but definitely not worth £10! Shame really as it looked so good advertised on your page perhaps you should state a time that customers should arrive by — we thought 9 o'clock would be fine as it stated in breakfast until 9.30!

Great for drinks, not very intimate if you were going for a romantic meal, feels quite cold however food is nice.

Food, staff, price, place excellent in every way, I would definitely recommend this place.

It's a shame that The Lemon Tree only respond to positive Facebook reviews or queries, the reviews that should be taken as constructive are ignored. The food has been very good but the service is inconsistent. Had issues with Gourmet cards and breakfast advertised was not what was on offer. Shame really as we always visited.

Stayed at the Lemon Tree this bank holiday our room was very nice & clean, breakfast was not the best, milk for cereal was not chilled, coffee was luke warm only one pice of toast & it came on your plate with your food, there was no side knife 2 put your butter with would we stay here again no.

Very good value for money nice building and the breakfast was nice also.

Went for a meal about twelve months ago the service was good but the food not so good. Decided to give it another try with my family for mothers day weekend. Absolutely shocking, the service was disgusting the waitress with the tattoo on her neck had a real attitude, thought she was above everyone and everything. The food was poorly described, lukewarm at best, and not a lot of it. I had the lamb shank, the shank was cold in places and a bit tough, I can get the same quality from the supermarket for three pounds, the mash was tepid (the carrots were very nice though) the other guests were not impressed with there meals either. We ordered a side of three times cooked chips, they were huge wedges that had been microwaved and were not so good. We asked if they had any chicken nuggets as we had a five year old child with us, the response was arrogant and stuck up. There is nothing on the menu for children. We were not asked at anytime did we enjoy our meals. To summarise, the whole experience was very disapointing, the food was poor and overpriced. The one waitress was up her own arse for some reason, and she had no manners or customer skills, the other waitress was better and quite polite. I only live a couple of minutes away and used to visit regular, I certainly will not be dining there again. James.

Comfortable surroundings, friendly, courteous and attentive staff. Used to be an Italian restaurant but changed ownership in November 2012 and is now a Mediterranean and tapas restaurant. Had a three course lunch, every course was beautifully presented and a pleasure on the pallet. Shall definitely be returning.

Changed management last year. Waiter was great and made my sisters birthday but food was terrible and overpriced.

Great place to stay, reasonable prices for rooms. The restaurant prices seemed a bit inflated but they do make a mean steak. Parking can be an issue if it's busy. Overall 7/10 will definitely return.

We had our staff Christmas meal there and it was marvelous. Pleasant surroundings and delightful food. I'm looking forward to taking my wife there this evening.

Not as good as previous. Service absolutely terrible. Food left a lot to be desired. Congealed 'jus' ; dauphinois potatoes thick and dry. Will be a long time before we go again.

We were part of a group of 15 staying for two nights, 6/7th July 2012. We used the restaurant for one night (plans for the following night), the menu selection was great and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The Staff were great and very obliging. I recommend the restaurant and would happily stay here again.
