Just returned after a 2 night stay in the river room. Lovely room with views and a bathroom to die for. Staff very attentive and helpful and even sent a card with chocolates for my husband's birthday. There is every thing you need provided within the room even hair straighteners and spray. There are also lots of extras like sweets and choccies. The bed was very comfy with memory foam pillows and mattress. Breakfast cooked to order and was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this quirky B &B and will no doubt return. Thanks Charlie, Carol and Hannah for your hospitality.

A gift from our kids for my husband's 65th Birthday. The whole experience was absolutely fabulous. The hotel is outstanding & the location is perfect. We stayed in the Castle/River room & it was magnificent, the best hotel by far. Breakfast was truly unbelievable & the whole experience was very welcoming as was the owner. We will be going back for sure.

What an amazing place to stay. Sooo beautiful and the little personal touches. We had mini chocolate hearts and a big chocolate heart on the bed on arrival. Slippers and dressing gowns also. Loved the room soo much felt like I was on a honeymoon Jacuzzi bath double walk in shower a BIG bed view out of one windows. I loved it soo much. To top it off the breakfast was amazing due to the room we stayed in we had a private dining room too which was lovely. Thank you so much cornerstones b&b will recommend any couple to stay for a lovely night away xxx.

Stayed here for our honeymoon last week. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice. Our room was beautiful. The ladies were very welcoming and the whole place was spotless. The old building has so much character and feels so homely. Can't wait to visit again xx.

My wife and I stayed here at the end of a almost 3 week vacation, venturing around Scotland and ending up here before getting home and we was so looking forward to it! The pictures really don't do the location justice and the place it's self was on first impression is amazing. However after you look a little deeper and see some of the quality of fitting, the mould in the shower, the large amount of cobwebs and the dirt on the amazing bathroom floor, you're just left wondering, what if? This is a beautifully located B&B and the breakfast is really good quality. Parking in Llangollen is an issue as it is with any popular town and you have to get your pass from Cornerstones to entitle you to free parking within the town. However it is free and it is pretty close, just be aware if you have mobility issues at all! You get a very warm welcome and the area you have to chill and relax is really first class. You have an excellent range of tea's, coffee and other beverages, as well as biscuits in your room. Llangollen is ideally situated for Chester, Wrexham, Shrewsbury and more. Our only wish is that the cleanliness of the place and attention to detail had been a little bit better. Then I would have no problem at all giving a full 5 out of 5, shame really!

A very welcoming and cosy b&b, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so comfartable. Very clean to a high standard, everything you need from hairdryers, straightners, bath robes and slippers. I feel in love with the room (river side) that big bath overlooking the canal just perfect… the host was so lovley but left you to it and her number was to hand if we needed her. We will defiantly be back for sure.

Booked this as a surprise for me and my partner and was pleasantly surprised as the place is a tardice and full of nice little touches which make the stay special and a very warm welcome and we will definitely be returning.

My mom and I went on a mini break to Llangollen as I had never been before. 3 nights were planned, but we had to stay an extra night as I fell in love with the place! Cornerstones felt like a home away from home. Very cosy, comfy bed. Beautifully decorated. Warm welcome from owner; lovely lady! always happy to help and so are the other staff. Cornerstones deserves 7* never mind 5! Reccomend to ALL! Book here before anywhere else! In the centre of town, yet quiet enough to get sleep. Wide variatie of breakfast choices, you have your own key so you can come and go as you please, complimentary cakes and biscuits in your room daily. One of the best places ive ever stayed at! x.

We spent 3 nights in the Attic room. It was charming, comfortable and all we could ask for. Carol and staff are excellent hosts. We will return.
