Ty Gwyn Park Hotel

Lovely quiet caravan park. Laundry facilities on site & small cafe. Close to Ty Prince fair/market & arcades within walking distance. Just off the main road so easy to locate. Beach is assesable from the rear of the site via a railway crossing approx 10 mins walk.

Stayed in a chalet on this caravan park, definately would not go back! The first impressions weren't great — dead flies on the windowsill which we could see from the outside before we'd even stepped inside! The chalet itself had a musty smell, there was grime everywhere, the floor was dirty and the plug sockets had a layer of sticky greasy dust on them. We contacted a member of staff in reception who seemed shocked at our findings although when we showed him, he tried to justify it saying things such as 'but that part has been cleaned… ' He did get a cleaner to 'reclean' the chalet and yes the cleaner did clean some areas of the chalet but it still did not feel up to scratch — the dead flies remained on the windowsills — and instead we were greeted by a strong smell of bleach afterwards. This trip was for us as a couple to spend time together before the birth of our first baby and as we don't have much flexible income, we felt that we had little choice but to stay but spent as little time in the chalet as possible — we did our best not to eat here as we could not shift the musty smell which was in the chalet and we found dead insects in the cupboards daily. The chalet itself was tiny — we were not expecting a mansion by any means but we were unable to open the bathroom door (which only opened about 12 inches before hitting the bed) if the bedroom door was open.

Has cancer is a very good kite campsite very clean child friendly pet-friendly has all the amenities you need sometimes it's a shame that you can't go touring camping but apart from that everything else is brilliant.

Lovely family site! Nice vans, small cafe which does an all day breakfast, delicious, freshly cooked using locally sourced meats. We had a great time.

Fantastic views and a great location. Owners were friendly and the facilities were clean and more than adequate. Loved this place. It is off the beaten track which I liked and was fairly quiet. The beach is gorgeous and the waters were clean and clear. We saw dolphins every day and the sunsets were amazing. You won't find a better place to camp if you enjoy the tranquility and wildlife. Truly wonderful.

Just bought a caravan on this site, the owners are lovely people, giving us all the support we needed to settle in, the staff are all friendly and helpful, the site is very clean and well maintained, I'm sure I will have some happy times here.

Nice quiet caravan park. Little beach on the horizon. Carboot around the corner. Would recommend for a nice stay out in wales.

Brilliant family run park, right on the north wales coast, with a great newly refurbished cafe. Perfect spot for families and anyone wanting to relax on a quieter park.

I own a caravan on Ty Gwen and it's great for a nice quiet holiday I love it on this site.

We had a great last minute Bank Holiday stay here, chalets are small and basic but we found them comfortable for our 3 night stay. Close to the sea and Rhyl with Llandudno with in easy reach.

Great value for money. Easy access for public transport. Warm and friendly staff.

It's a nice quiet site next to the seafront. It only takes a nice 10m stroll along the seafront to reach Knightlys fair and the pubs in the area. There is a very good restaurant/Cafe here too that do some nice meals.
