We had the 2 for £18 deal last night and the steak meal was absolutely lovely! Service was brilliant from the lovely George, we will be back, thanks so much!

We had the best night, lovely food, friendly staff and local people. We were made to feel so so welcome, cannot say how much of a great night we had. I am gluten free and never had fish and chips anywhere that was gluten free until I went here, you absolutely made my night. Don’t miss out like we have in all the years we have been coming to Treaddur Bay, if I was to be honest, this has to be the best eating place in the bay xxxx.

Absolutely everything about The Driftwood is amazing. The friendliest, helpful staff. Great food and very pet friendly. Nothing is to much trouble. Definitely recommend. We can’t wait to return. Gluten free range of meals is also wonderful.

Best pub on the island, the staff are friendly and do there upmost to help in anyway they can.
It’s dog friendly decent prices and proper homemade grub there’s not much more I can add. I recommend this place to all my family and friends and oh it’s the place to be to watch footy yet to see Leeds win a game in there but it just gives me a valid excuse to keep calling in

Lovely food very friendly staff. Only slight quibble was the rather long delay in service between starter and main courses. Having said that, would probably recommend to potential visitors.

Went with my family for a meal, 2 had fish, chips and peas, 1 steak and one childs spaghetti bolagnese, all was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The food is always great, and the staff are always helpful and really nice!

Excellent Sunday roast today. Lovely friendly staff. Kids enjoyed their meal and pudding. Highly recommend and we will be back x.

Back from another 2 night stay at The Beach Motel. Spot on as always. Covid safe and I cannot praise the staff we encountered too highly. All staff friendly and welcoming. And most definitely up for a laugh. Food top quality as always. (we have never had a bad meal here! ) we will be back as soon as we can. Thank you.

We have been regular motel guests for years and unfortunately over the last couple of years we have seen a decline in the facilities & breakfast quality so much so that we won’t be returning.
The rooms are big and clean but have not had a refresh for years, the mattresses certainly need a change now and feel worn out and uncomfortable, as does the bed linen, not how I remember my first stay years ago. The window blind was broken and the door needed a good bang to close (not great for other guests! )
It can be noisy with other guests smoking, chatting loudly and drinking outside your room at night, I guess a pitfall of staying in a motel.
The Driftwood bar is now very scruffy & looks dated, worryingly not Covid secure as our table at breakfast was sticky and dirty.
Breakfast was awful, the worst we’ve ever had, whoever prepared our basic scrambled & poached eggs on toast cannot be a trained chef. Cutlery was missing, no condiments, no napkins, no saucer or milk with a pot of tea! The waiter that served us was either half asleep or didn’t care, we had to ask him for everything and he still couldn’t quite manage it. The restaurant manager who was lovely tried his best to rectify it but it’s a senior management/owner issue, there were not enough staff over a bank holiday.

Staff amazing, they are so friendly, helpful and polite, working so hard to please. Rooms great, spacious, modern and well equipped. Beds comfy. Location fabulous. Breakfast great value. A budget hotel, but doesn't skimp on facilities and service. Thanks to all staff!

Everything pleasant staff good food.

Love the fact that it's a family run motel and that they bend over backwards to meet your needs. Food is awesome and rooms are a good size. Feeling at home sensation.

Friendly staff. Trying their best to cater for guests with only a few staff (family members roped in to help out lol)

Not much to look at from the outside but food was absolutely fantastic lovely friendly staff nothing was to much trouble, definitely go back again.

Went to Driftwood with family. Evening food service starts at 5pm. The food and service was great. The staff are friendly efficient and helpful, been before, will go again.

Staff very friendly, room was comfortable and clean but felt a little dated. Struggled to receive TV channels. Food looked lovely but our lasagne wasn't thst great. Very thick pasta too much white sauce and minimal mince and cheese. Would still return for the location/value for money and friendliness of people.

Fantastic place to stay, very friendly with a lovely little bar. Even better because we could bring our pooch to enjoy a little seaside break. Close to the beach and amenities.

Really good motel. Roughly two minutes from the beach. Has a nice pub/restaurant on sight called the driftwood. About 5 mins walk from other pubs and restaurants. Great location.

So clean, so welcoming, comfy bed, the only reason I can't give 5 is the bubly bath not working and tiredness of the linen. But this didn't reduce comfort! Top place to stay and fair breakfast price too.

I had the vegan option of chickpea curry with poppadum and rice and it was lovely. Not a lot of choice for vegans — only that curry — but thankful that in a village so small I managed to find something! It’s a pretty no frills place but does the job!

Food was excellent value for money. Very nice lambchop. Service was bit slow, was quiet and food took a while to arrive on table, ordered drink half way through the meal but didn't receive it. Other than that staff was friendly and helpful.

A very pleasant motel in a calm environment. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived late in the evening after being stranded in Holyhead by a delayed ferry (owing to bad weather. ) The owner was very helpful, making sure that we were able to get food and a taxi for the next morning. Recommended.

Didn't look promising upon arrival but accommodation was great and also spotless and rump steak in motel restaurant to die for! Defo recommend!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and well equipped and there were plenty of choices for breakfast from continental through to full breakfast.

Have been before and we went yesterday and today with people who have Dementia. Great service and an excellent understanding by staff. Food also fabulous. Made to feel very welcome and nothing too much trouble.

Delicious meal at Driftwood this lunchtime, Janet and I had the fish and chips (with everything) best fish we have ever tasted, and a very large serving too, couldn't, t quite finish it all, but not for want of trying, delicious. Lovely place to eat and the service spot on, and friendly.

Had the salt and pepper squid with sweet potato fries. Best meal out in a long time.

Upon approach to the Motel I was faced with an awful view of a derelict and semi demolished snooker hall which adjoins the Motel rooms. When I asked about this I was told it is waiting to be demolished but the delay is because of heavy asbestos content in the building. Not the best outlook for our stay in beautiful Anglesey but on the plus side the rooms where comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good quality nicely cooked and hot. The evening menu was not to our taste (Ribs and steaks etc) so we ate elsewhere in the evenings for our entire visit and cannot comment on the food. The breakfast area, in the main bar area, was dingy, the decor tired and worn and a stale smell of well used carpet in need of a good clean was evident. As a bed and breakfast it served it's purpose but it is in need of much improvement. I would not stay there again.

Enjoyed a nice meal, very busy but that's to be expected during summer. Staff were good, food lovely, especially prawn starter.

The food here is amazing. We have eaten here twice now and both times we haven't been disappointed. Very reasonably priced as well.

I have been to the Driftwood before, so knew where it was. When we got there there were two big parties (one just finishing and one just got there) we were shown to our table and our drinks order was taken and menus given out. The food arrived well presented and we weren't waiting long at all. It was all lovely. No complaints about the food at all. If I had one criticism, it would be that there were only 2/3 staff and whilst one was taking the big parties order, the others were nowhere to be seen, meaning we were sat for about 10-15 minutes for someone to take our order. Would definitely recommend it and will be going back next time we're are over at Trearddur Bay.

Good food, good beer in local bar, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service at reasonable prices. Robinson's Trooper and Courage's Director real ales on tap when we visited.

Lovely stay at the Beach Motel. The staff were delightful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Quiet room which was spacious and comfortable with lots of tea and coffee and milk. Really enjoyed a walk to the beach and along the seafront.

Stayed here before and was lovely, clean and very comfortable. Food at the Driftwood is amazing, all homemade even the chips! Good value for money, excellent service and a pub that is not well recognised for its food but should be. We always return here for meals and tonight's visit was another winner.

Only went to the restaurant. The meal was fine and the service good but the "locally supplied" beef was not up to standard, it was neither well cooked nor good quality steak. Do not pay for the best quality!

I enjoyed my stay at the motel. The rooms were clean and had excellent facilities eg. Spa bath. The evening meal was good value with plenty of choice. The downside was at breakfast were we had to ask for a hot drink and to give our order in. When the breakfast eventually came it was obviously cooked the night before and reheated. The sausages were like Frankfurts out of a tin. Very disappointed as I was going to recommend you to my friends.

06-10-2014 Stayed with my family for one night. Twin En-suite and Family En-suite had a lovely night. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful Food excellent and good price. Breakfast excellent. will certainly stay again and highly recommend Raymond W.

Excellent stay — despite the awful weather. Pleasant, clean rooms, friendly efficient staff. The bar/restaurant food was excellent value for money — with huge portions (did enjoy the food though). If you stay her, breakfast is a must. Lovely and plenty of it too.

Small beach. Pretty on a nice day (which is rare on Anglesey).
