Had a great meal with awesome service despite being in a group of 16 and on one of the hottest days of the year. The team could not have made us feel more welcome. Highly recommended.

Rhys and all his staff are amazing, our Sunday lunch was fantastic. I can highly recommend the homemade rice pudding! High quality food in a homely setting.

The room was very comfy, and they got us in at the last minute on boxing day. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, and the breakfast was delicious!

One of the best pubs I been to… great service awesome tasty food and very much welcoming atmosphere. Loved it.

A pub of many parts — front bar with oodles of character and the back bar with a quieter atmosphere. We were in the restaurant where a large TV screen playing the six nations rugby was set up. Superb atmosphere and lovely and toasty as the stove was lit. Fab serving staff and a really welcoming place.

But the best part for me was how dog friendly the pub is. Genuinely dog friendly.
Some fabulous walks in the area and being able to have a large glass of red wine and good food whilst the dogs snoozed at my feet was brilliant.

Our 2nd stay at the Penrhos Arms. Lovely friendly staff. Very nice room with that extra touch. His and hers bath robes, four poster bed with luxurious towels. Will definitely be back.

Very welcoming, clean and comfortable rooms. Food at dinner and breakfast extremely good. Definitely somewhere we will return to next time we are in the area.

Got to say the meal portions are very generous, and really nice food. Great atmosphere too.

Free Wi-Fi. Very friendly. Reasonable prices and exceptional food. Had no bread and pudding desert though on 2 days running despite staff saying they would ask the chef to prepare some for the following day but didnt. Nice beer garden.

This is the 2nd time we have called into this place to stop and have something to eat, they have a fair selection of meals and desserts and at reasonable prices. So if you're passing through on the A470 then have a rest stop.

Stopped off Sunday 3rd June on our way home from the coast with our granddaughters for Lunch, good move by us. I had the Roast Beef and can highly recommend it, Marilyn had the Roast Lamb again highly recommend, the girls had Chicken goujons with chips and beans, fish fingers with chips, then ice cream and sticky toffee pudding with ice cream we all left well full and satisfied (on the down side my Yorkshire pudding was a bit overdone but the rest of our meal was 5 star)

Friendly staff, excellent lunch, fully enclosed beer garden with bouncy castle for kids. Dogs welcome. Highly recommended!

Lovely pub on main road with excellent food and Real Ale. Kids play area with bouncy castle the day we were there.

Went for dinner, mussels to start, sauce very nice but mussels a little over cooked, burger for main was very good. Definitely worth a visit.

Food is delicious and prices are great! Rhyse is an amazing host! The rooms are nice and the breakfast is great. Lunch was delicious and the views around town are breathtaking. I can’t wait to go back totally recommend this place!

Friendly pub with good food. We had Easter Sunday lunch — excellent value for a tenner each — loads of veg & lovely beef. Highly recommended. Car park!

Really enjoyed Sunday Lunch at Penrhos Arms today. Bit of a long haul for a regular trip 200 miles but will stop off again next time coming back to Wales. Great lunch right priced drinks perfect. Thank you.

Very disappointed. Steak was full of gristle. When mentioned to staff they were not bothered.

Found this place by accident! They were so friendly and accommodating! There are not many places that would allow us to eat with our 5 dog's no matter how well behaved they are! The food was great too! I'm gluten free and I really enjoyed my meal! It was the best meal we'd had all week, out! Service was excellent! Big thumbs up!

We called in for lunch after a long walk around the countryside. We received a warm welcome. The menu was extensive and there were many specials. It was good to see that everything on the menu, including the breakfasts, was available all day, every day. The portions were of a good size and the food was very tasty.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired, would never visit again.

Poor service. And to top it off under cooked food and threatening locals… Avoid at all costs.
