Great stay in the farm, close to animals and nature but also with far comfort, perfect Wi-Fi and a nice village to visit nearby. It is super child and toddler friendly too. Enjoyed every minute of it.

Lovely Sunday lunch with a beautiful set up and lovely staff. Thanks guys the men had a lovely fathers Day. We will be back very soon xx.

We just want to thank Paul, Kesri & Dan for the most enjoyable two days we have had in a long time while staying in Drovers Cottage. What an amazing experience we have had. Our 4 year old had such a lovely time feeding the animals and walking the horses to their paddock.
We look forward to our next stay.

Such a fabulous place! We stayed in the cart house cottage with a lovely wood burner and everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The farm walks are great and the BBQ was just fantastic. Our girls were occupied from the moment we arrived what with all the animals, the walks and the afternoon campfire. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you.

A hidden gem
We were greeted by the most polite 12yr old who was very efficient and polite. A wonderful family run operation!
The surroundings were perfect, so relaxing.

Superb accommodation and hosts. Great place to explore the countryside from either foot, canoe or horseback. Great place to just relax and enjoy the surroundings, eat nice food and meet new people.

Absolutely fantastic place. The accommodations are second to none and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. Loads of activities to do for the children and a great time had by all.

The tents and facilities were all of a great standard. Amazing breakfasts and cook outs in the evening. Lots of interactions with the farm animals, alpacas, goats, dogs, and chickens. Would certainly go again. Perfect for escapes from city living without giving up any of the comforts.

Wonderful family friendly luxury camping. All our needs catered for — great spot from which to enjoy the Hay Festival with lovely hosts. Only wished we could have stayed longer but plan to return.

Fantastic for families with small children. Smart tents. 5 star facilities with separate toilets for each tent. Peaceful and relaxing. Plenty to do around the area. Staff are very friendly and can never do enough for you. Off road. Very safe. Great for a short break away from the city hustle and bustle.

Really spacious tent that's very well equipped, lots of animals and a good play area for the kids.

Fantastic setup. Lovely location, they really have thought of everything here. Tents are an excellent size with all a family needs for a self catering break, communal facilities are luxurious and the hospitality top notch. Can't recommend highly enough.

A fantastic break for our family, which includes two pre-schoolers. We stayed in one of the safari tents, which was basically a luxury cottage with canvas walls! The beds are incredibly comfortable, there is a wood burning stove in each tent, and electricity. Over in the communal barn, there's a fridge stocked with lovely drinks (sold using an honesty system), games, table tennis, Wi-Fi and a great big TV. You can book food in advance and we enjoyed cracking pizza, sat around on hay bales together with other families. The hosts (and their pet dogs) are welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The kids had a lovely time feeding the animals, and also enjoyed bouncing off their energy on the great big trampoline behind the tents. A fantastic stay and we hope to return again!

We had a brilliant week in September at Drover's Rest. They have struck the perfect balance of quality and simplicity. The owners and their team made us feel incredibly welcome and our children loved participating in daily activities — particularly with the morning feeding of the animals. The 'tents' are more like small apartments with two separate bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen (tools, utensils, crockery etc), a very comfortable lounge with wood-burning stove and a balcony/deck at each end. We will definitely be heading back to Drover's Rest!

This was a fantastic place to stay. What can I say, nothing but praise. # Just come back from a long BH weekend staying at The Drovers Rest — stayed in a glamping tent — what utter luxury, The beds were to die for, so comfortable, perfect bed, bedding and pillows. Excellent facilities in the kitchen and the wood burner was a god send on the cold wintery nights!. Kes, Paul and the team were very helpful and so warm in their welcome. Put on some excellent entertainment Friday was Pizza night, all made by our good selves and cooked by the hosts, Saturday was curry night — yummy (not to mention the chocolate and strawberry meringue. ) Sunday was camp fire with marshmellows — wonderful… The bathrooms were so clean and provided lovely products to use. We were two of a party of 24, so the shared communal space was well utilised by us all — Great place for a reunion — just superb and that's why we were there. The cottages on site we just wonderful, our friends stayed in the cottages, amazing… good place to play sheep bingo… don't ask! Thanks Kes and Paul for a memorable stay for all the right reasons.
