Absolutely fantastic staff and setting! All you need for a trek up Snowdon 😘 highly recommend.

Tonight would be maybe the 6th, 7th or 8th pizza delivery since lockdown and again it was amazing fresh toppings, good service and accurate delivery! Please continue with delivery after lockdown!

I had a great birthday meal just before lockdown. We had a very warm welcome from the staff, who catered for our very need. The homemade food was delicious, and the environment was friendly and accommodating. Diolch yn fawr!

I had amazing Goat Cheese, Mushrooms, Sweet Corn & Basil Pizza tonight! It was great to choose any topping from the list for my pizza!

I live in LLanberis so it's perhaps unfair to give a review for one experience. I have had some very good nights at Pizza and a Pint but my last one was disappointing and I think I will leave it a while before returning. A few of our group returned their beers due to them tasting horrible. Pizza's turned up burnt or cold and the salads were disappointing. I have had amazingly good value Salads in the past, whilst the price has increased the amount of Salmon or other nice extras you add to your salad has reduced and been replaced with more leaves. Overall maybe two of 8 of our group were satisfied with their meals, I hope it's a one off.

I stayed for two nights in Sept2017; the bunkhouse was quiet so I had my pick of the rooms. My room and en suite shower-room were spotlessly clean; the bed was extremely comfortable and plenty of tea and coffee was provided in the room.
A couple of the rooms and the restaurant / breakfast room have fabulous views of Snowdon. The management were extremely helpful — responded very quickly to my original booking enquiry and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I wanted to swim in the lake (brrr! ) so a bath was essential, and Elin was fabulous about sorting that out for me. The bunkhouse is in a cracking location, opposite Llyn Padarn, about 10mins walk from Llanberis town centre and with great access to Snowdon and the surrounding countryside. It makes a perfect base for outdoor activities and exploring. The in-house pizzeria opens four evenings a week, Weds-Sat, and served wonderful food. The pizza was excellent, and the menu includes plenty of other hearty grub. The bar serves a variety of local ales.
Breakfast was an extensive, serve-yourself cold buffet which featured several local products and included cereals, muesli, toast, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, etc. Gally y Glyn is characterful and quirky — if you go expecting to find a bland, modern hotel then you'll be quite surprised. It's obviously evolved over time, and I understand the owners are gradually upgrading thing as they go.
