What a wonderful, unique place to stay! The house and rooms are pure luxury, peaceful and spacious and Graham and Sheena are simply fantastic hosts. Whether you’re looking for a stop over as part of the north coast route or a longer stay to explore the local area, you won’t find a better place to stay!

Celebrated our Wedding Anniversary here on a two night stay. Hosts could not be more accommodating — even drove us over to a local restaurant!

Breathtaking estate. Very high standards. Incredibly luxurious and posh. Mansion en suite room with an incredible view is not to be missed.

What can I add? Blervie's charm is only surpassed by Shenna and Graham warmth and generosity. It is a long way for me to visit again but will the try my upmost to return, and perhaps be recognized by Rosie and Winston. Lots to visit in the vicinity, I do welcome that there was no TV in the room.

A hidden gem of a place to stay. The owners are amazing and make you feel at home. Each room is different, very large, very comfortable beds, views out of the windows that are breathtaking. The bathrooms are huge with a bath and a walk in power shower. The renovation of this stately home has turned it into a warm and inviting place to stay. I cannot reccomend it highly enough. Try it for yourself. You will not be dissapointed and will leave wanting to plan your next visit.

It was a lovely experience to stay in this manor! I love the sight when I woke up in the morning, beautiful garden with forest and mountains in the distance. Two whole days of sunshine while we were there helped a lot! Do not be too amazed when you meet the gorgeous peacock which belongs to the landlord. And the they also have two cute dogs! Besides, the breakfast and dinner made by the hostess was so delicious. The host will proudly give you a tutor around the house if you are interested, you will be fascinated when you hear the stories behind all the antique furnitures and paintings in the house. Super nice host and hostess and friendly service! Really enjoyed to stay there!

I stayed at Blervie house whilst working up in Forres and what an amazing place to be put up. The house in its self is breathe taking, with plenty of wooded lands around it to go explore, it's in a prime location for many tourist attractions, the rooms are spacious and cosy but most of all Sheena and Graham were the perfect hosts going over and above all expectations. I would definitely recommend Blervie house to anyone who needs a tranquil getaway.

My Husband and I visit Forres yearly with our children when visiting the In Laws. As a treat my Husband and I decided to have a night away on our own and just so happen to stumble upon this beautiful hotel. As it was a last miunte booking I was very anxious and really did not know what to expect. Well, we drove up a spectacular drive at least a half mile long to an amazing house that really did exceed all my expectations. All my husband and I were wanting was a night away from the kids and what we were greeted with was just exemplary. The owner Graham greeted us at the door and took us to show our room, at which point he advised we had been upgraded as they had no other guests that evening. He then invited us down to their shared kitchen where we were greeted with fresh homemade scones (still warm) and his lovely wife Sheena. The warm and inviting genuinous was truly astonishing and non that I have every experienced from proprietors before, and I have stayed in a lot of luxurous hotels. Graham then took his time to show us around the House and gave us a detailed explanation of each room and the thought and love that has gone into the renovation of this building clearly outshone all the way through. As the hotel is 3 miles from Forres Graham then Kindly drove us into town so we could go out for tea, although I am 100% certain had we asked they would have kindly invited us to dine with them for dinner.

We had a wonderful stay with Graham and Sheena at Blervie House. Everything was very comfortable, extremely well appointed, characterful and warm. Graham and Sheena went out of their way to be hospitable, friendly and welcoming and it made all the difference. Blervie House is a great base for exploring the area which offers many activities including a great variety of walks — beaches and forests. We could not recommend Graham, Sheena and Blervie House more highly for a luxurious stay at a reasonable rate. It was a superb experience. We will be back soon! Many, many thanks.

Fabulous house, beautifully renovated and decorated. Great welcome from Sheena and Graham and we felt very much at home. The atmosphere is friendly and informal, we loved sitting around the breakfast table in the kitchen looking out over the terrace and garden. We even had a visit from Charlie the peacock! Our room was stunning with a huge bathroom, extremely comfortable bed and views over the woods and hills surrounding. We would recommend Bervie House to anyone wanting a luxury relaxed break in the beautiful Highlands.

Blervie House blows away the stereotypical cold and draughty Highland house. Physically it is warm with zoned heating and air circulation system. The welcome and ongoing attention from the hosts is warm too and their philosophy is to invite guests to share their home. Thus although the decor and furnishings are high end there is an informal air that is refreshing, for example breakfast is cooked and served in the dining kitchen overlooking the huge lawn. (For larger parties there is a lovely formal dining room with a beautiful table that will stay 20 plus. ) There are lovely walks in the Estate and surrounding woods, should you want a quiet day away from the numerous local attractions. Highly recommended.

A fantastic place to stay. Lovely spacious luxury rooms. Quiet, restful, great walks and superb views. We will be returning.
