Beautiful, beautiful house. Gorgeous setting. Welcoming host. Room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the powerful shower and roll top bath. Delicious kipper for breakfast. Next time, I'd stay longer. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely place to stay in the Highlands. The owners are very polite and attentive to you needs. Despite being a very historic home, the interior is updated and the accommodations are modern. Breakfast is superb! Getting there can be tricky as it is rural. If your GPS says turn onto a dirt road, don't. Continue on pavement until it reroutes, trust me. Book now, I know you won't regret it.

Loved it! This beautiful home is kindly shared with us by Val, Dave, Sarah, Colin & Cameron. I cannot think of anything negative about this delightful hideaway. Food, Decor, cleanliness, comfort, all are catered to with an understated elegance. Dave & Colin are both extremely genial whilst Mother & Daughter Val & Sarah cook deliciously. This was a romantic break that we revelled in.

Everything about our stay at Cardhu Country House was amazing. Dave was so friendly and helpful in giving us advice on how to spend our time since the moment we set foot in the door. We did a lot of traveling on our holiday and slept in many different beds and this one was by far the most comfortable. The facilities are beautiful and the breakfast was very tasty. I can not say enough good things about this place and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely B&B with good sized bedrooms, great bathrooms with excellent water pressure and temperature, and great breakfast.

Thank you to Val & Dave for a wonderful few days away in their beautiful home. The room was lovely, the service was fantastic and Val is a tremendous chef. The salmon was a fantastic start to our trip after a long day of driving and mountain biking at Glenlivet. I would definitely recommend a stay at Cardhu House for anyone looking for a tranquil and picturesque holiday in rural Scotland.

One of the best B&B in the Scottish Highlands.
Dave and his family lead a very beautiful and well maintained B & B. The rooms are nicely decorated, very bright, big and clean bathroom with bathtub. The breakfast lovingly prepared with hand and the host family that is really very nice.

Dead centre of Knockando village and a short stagger from Johnny Walker Cardhu distillery. Up-market B&B in a well-modernised Speyside Manse with attentive hospitality from Dave. Exceptionally good breakfast, wish I'd stayed for dinner. A nice stop-over for the discerning tourist. With appalling June weather and my early checkin would have appreciated comfy chair in the room, but otherwise excellent accomodation.

Great location in for Speyside whiskey, woodland walks and to explore the Cargorms. The guest house itself was beautiful both externally and internally. Our room was perfect, with an enourmous bed and modern bathroom. We felt very welcome from the start and found tips of what to do and where to go very helpful. We stayed for dinner one of the nights and the food was exceptional, the best meal we have had all holiday, a real treat. My wife and will be recommending this guest to family and friends.

Highlight of our trip to Highlands! The place to be for classy comfort in the countryside. The owner is very helpful and kindly accepted us for dinner, despite the last minute request. The place is in a quiet area, nice simple house, interior designed with good taste, our room was spacious, very clean, comfort and warm. The dinner was amazing, well prepared, in a warm and cosy room, next to the fireplace. They made us feel relaxed, enjoy the evening, a wonderful experience and tasting some local whiskys. It's the place to go for a luxurious and cosy weekend with personal attention. Loved it!

Wonderful place! Great breakfast (try the homemade honey & whisky porridge! ), great dinner, nice landscape around, nice room and clean and good bathroom, silent at night, very home-like and a really friendly host! I can only recommend you to try it out yourself.

We had simply the most wonderful stay! Not only is the house sheer perfection, our hosts, Dave, Val and Sarah went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Attention to every detail — and the best food we've had at a B&B yet!

Relaxed peaceful luxury, superb service, family friendly atmosphere, cute dogs, lovely setting and for breakfast the best porridge with whiskey cream every morning was a special treat.

Norman and Tina were the most delightful hosts in an amazingly clean, restored historic manor house. We were impressed with the balance of contemporary facilities and cleanliness with historic preservation and charm. The food was fabulous, and the personal treatment was comforting and enjoyable. We'd recommend ANYONE stay there any time. It's far enough out to be a "get-away" and close enough to lots of activities to provide options. We. Loved. It. TIPS: Walk to the nearby wool mill, walking trails, the river, and a couple of the distilleries, but we recommend renting a car to get around to other villages and any other food and grocery options. With a car almost anything is possible — restaurants, skiing, lakes, services, distilleries, shopping, and the ocean. It's all there! We recommend the extra dinner package at the BnB. The food was delicious and farm fresh or wild caught — handmade recipes, not canned or frozen.

The owners of Cardhu country house — Norman and Tina — are wonderful people who are very keen is located that you here more than just feel as a guest! We have spent only two nights here, but very much enjoyed it. In my opinion this is a beautiful gem which I gladly pay for something more. If you stay here, you eat well here for evening. You will not regret it. :-).
