Reviews of Maryculter House 4*
Dinner and service in the restaurant were excellent. For Scotland, above-average quality. 50 pounds completely appropriate for two adults and one child. The hotel room is well furnished. The bathrooms should be renovated in the foreseeable future. The hotel has very interesting and beautiful adjoining rooms. Breakfast was a bit lean if you needed alternatives to Scottish breakfast.
It was my son's wedding. The arrangements were faultless; the service was well organised, pleasant, efficient and friendly. The meal was first class and well presented. The rooms were just sublime with lovely views of the river passing by. The Mayculter has probably the best team of young people I have seen for quite some time. They were charming and courteous without being subservient. From the bar staff through to the breakfast team all went like clockwork. Was a bit surprised they didn't know what a "Dark and Dirty" was, but they soon got the hang of it.

Well where do I start. Our wedding was held at this hotel on Sunday 2nd of September, all of our bridal party spent 2 nights here, this hotel is absolutely amazing, scenery is stunning, especially facing on to the River Dee and so tranquil, could’ve found a nicer venue than this, food was excellent, rooms are very clean and comfortable. I can’t thank Gemma, wedding coordinator and everyone else that was involved with our wedding from the beginning to the end, these guys are absolutely amazing. You have absolutely nothing to worry about on you wedding day because they are with you every step of the way, even have some paper hankies at hand if you need them before walking down the aisle (like I nearly did), but these guys gave me lots of support and I made it down the aisle without a tear rolling down my face. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and wonderful as well as the service and staff involved. Thank you all so very very much for making our day so very special and wonderful.
