Absolutely Fantastic. 17 of our Family (age range 9 months to 89 years) had a meal tonight at the Strathburn. Service fantastic, food fantastic, atmosphere fantastic. A special thank you to Ann who’s attention to detail was — wait for it — again ‘fantastic’. Taking photos for us and humouring everyone while keeping the evening moving is not an easy feat but Ann did this with ease. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Enjoyed a lovely Valentine Lunch and it was so very nice with red roses on all the tables. The Homemade Cheesecake was very well displayed on the plate and was so very good. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Was really really disappointed with the Strathburn’s funeral tea service provided in December 2017. My family chose to use this venue as we were advised that although more expensive (£10.95 per head) they did provide a nice selection of food including ‘home bakes’ Although the selection of sandwiches was reasonable the ‘home bake’ offering left a lot to be desired — ginger bread & 2 different shapes of shortbread was the lot! …
We could have forgiven them not actually being true ‘Home Bakes’ but only 2 choices … To add insult to injury, the staff cleared away unopened platters from a table that no guests had occupied & did not redistribute it to tables with guests nor did they offer the bereaved family the food to take home. They simply removed it from the table and took it away. (Bearing in mind this had been paid for surely this should never have been the case? ) Not only were we disappointed with the food we were also horrified at feeling rushed out of the venue. As some guests were leaving (lots of others remained), the staff quickly cleared the tables and re-set them with Christmas arrangements (crackers etc) hence the feeling that we were ‘keeping them’ from getting set up for Christmas meals. Hoping this review allows the Strathburn an opportunity to improve their service & prevent other bereaved families from experiencing similar poor service at an already difficult time.

The motel was everything we expected because of a recommendation from a friend. They were very friendly and helpful to a couple of dumb Canadians. Didn't have a chance to enjoy the food there but it sure looked and smelled wonderful. Highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful meal at lunchtime today at Strathburn with 2 others. As usual meal was fantastic, staff friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Food just amazing and plenty of it. Thanks to the waitress, didn't catch her name but fandabidose service! Canna wait to go back.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Strahburn Hotel for the weekend of James and Nicolas wedding and I have to say, we have stayed at a lot of hotels and this one has to come top of our list. The rooms were spacious, and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and courteous. We had an evening meal in the resturant and the food was second to none. I would
recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Inverurie or the surrounding area. I would also like to add that on leaving the hotel and returning home I realised I had left some items behind Jewellery, hairdryer etc. This morning I received a parcel from the hotel with all of my belongings inside. So a massive THANKYOU to everyone and I look forward to returning to your hotel when visiting family and friends xxx
