Lovely staff. Was my daughters 7th birthday they left a birthday card and some treats for her buffet breakfast was really good. With loads of choices.

Very rude barman… he initially poured a drink for me and when I went back for another the girl used a shot measure, I questioned this and said I had had one before and the glass was half full, he denied it was him then after shouting at me and putting his hands up at my face and shouting “enough” to me when it was the female barmaid that was being cheeky to me… disgusting, he needs more customer training.

Great hotel, will definitely be back. 5 stars ⭐️

This is absolutely perfect located in Aberdeen. It’s our third stay since 2016 and we’ll come back every time we go to Aberdeen. Nice and helpful staff and delicious breakfast.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Aberdeen Treetops is an amazing hotel with friendly staff and good value for the money, it offers great food and pleasant surroundings with plenty of parking and the facilities are first class like the pool and health suit.

Got married here on the 3rd May and the staff were amazing, special thanks to Amy for all the help planning, Jonathan for being amazing and my best friend for the day to kieran finn Lewis and serigo for the great banter when they were on reception. I recently had a function there, I had to guess where we situated, nobody was waiting to greet us. Lovely spread, plenty teas and coffees, staff were apprehensive of approach tables with teas and coffee so family member went to main table and helped themselves. Lovely place, cleanliness, and accessibility for elderly family members this is was ifeal.

Visited health spa attached to the hotel. This is a cosy little gym with free weights, machines and a small pool, 15m. Also have a steam room and sauna. Plenty parking. Highly Recommended.

Disappointing as I have never stayed at the Hilton wished I had read these reviews first

Really disappointing the room was cramped and was really really hot
my dog panted all night we ended up cooling him with wet cloths I thought it was making him ill
the radiators were on full in the corridors it was 26 degrees out side that’s not efficient
Pillow had stains on it
The lifts did there own thing Disco going on next to reception which was really noisy and was overflowing into reception
We ended up going to our red hot room at 8.30 to get away from the overflow leaving our friend in her room as well
We did complain to receptionist who said he would let the manager know
I asked to speak the manager in the morning he made notes said his manager would get Back to me but to no avail
Spoke to Hilton complaints department awaiting
a reply to there email.

My wife and I received a nights stay here as an anniversary gift, we were there in June. Room 208 was not what we were expecting, I don't think it had been cleaned as there was a large greasy mark on the door, coffee stains on the wall, very large brown mark on the shower, the coffee making facility had the remnants of the the previous occupiers and there were what looked like hair trimmings on the duvet cover. We have stayed in a wide variety of hotels, Travel Lodge, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn and so on, which have all easily exceeded the standard of room we received here. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement and will we ever book a Hilton group Hotel, not if I can help it. Should I have contacted someone at the hotel that day, probably. However Should I have had to contact someone about the state of the room, I don't think so as if you are prepared to offer a room in this condition, this review is the consequence.

Stayed here many times. Refurbishment has worked wonders for this place as was becoming rundown. Breakfast on a Sunday is chaotic. Nothing replenished. Waited 15 minutes for scrambled egg to be refilled as the 1 chef we saw went to do a gluten free toast for someone! Don't mind the other 20 of us waiting. Very strange. However the 1 thing that really annoyed was the lack of haggis! Only black pudding. This was rectified on the Monday though.

So it has been a couple of years since I was at this hotel but it appears to have been updated to a much more modern feel. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The gym facilities are great too and I like the pool too. An enjoyable stay in a good hotel.

Due to my previous career I have spent a great deal of time in hotels all over the world. This one has one of the better gym facilities I've seen. The main reason this hotel gets 5 stars though is due to the stellar service the staff has provided me when staying there. From the front desk or restaurant up to the management staff I felt valued. There was a problem with their Wi-Fi that was beyond their power to correct and they bent over backwards to ensure I could conneft to complete some work. Because of the staff at this hotel I always try to stay here when I am in town.

Awesome hotel! Everything was first class, nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff, always greeted with a smile whatever the time of day. Leston on reception deserves a special mention. He gave us so much info, he was really polite and seems genuinely happy in his job. Restaurant food was just perfect in every way. Best meal I’ve had in many years. Pool/gym/sauna etc facilities very good as well. Highly recommend, this place. Excellent value.

Stopped by for a quick coffee on my way. Nice lounge, fair prices and tasty drink. The server was not proficient in English and I ended up with 2 cups of java but I had time so I didn't mind too much. All in all an kk place for a meeting or a respite cuppa on your way.

Rooms are very clean, beds comfortable. Spa facilities very good. Restaurant is great and good selection at breakfast. The only complaint I have is that service at the bar is slow. We waited almost an hour for our main courses to come in the bar area, and it was a long wait at the bar to get drinks.

Nice bar. Big problem with toilets all on ground floor. Makes no sense to have to trek from one floor to another in search of poorly signposted rest rooms. Especially when you are at a corporate event on one of the other floors. Staff helpful.

Comfortable, clean, not a huge room but comfortable bed and all the basics needed available. Great event hall. We had an event for 250 people for Islamic Relief and they all really enjoyed the event and the venue.

When we first arrived they had no booking for us, but luckily they weren't too busy so we got a table. The meal was lovely, sweets not so good. When the bill arrived there were two irregularies. When questioned they took the bill away and left us waiting with no-one coming near us. We eventually had to get up, leave the table and query at the desk. The bill was rectified but no apology. Check your bill carefully before paying,

Aberdeen has breath taking sights, I was told its cold almost all year round. DoubleTree is Clean and the hospitality is top notch. I spent 2 peaceful nights here, the staff are friendly. The missing star is for having very limited snacks on offer.

Hotel was decent, rooms were nice and warm, standard decor, lagers and beers in bar were ok. Little pricey but expected in Hilton. Rooms were clean and room was maintained daily by cleaners.

Very nice hotel, with a good leisure centre. The food on the morning buffett was very good with a lot of healthy and not so healthy options. Staff were also very helpful.

Have enjoyed my stay rooms are thoroughly cleaned daily. The staff are all friendly and go out of there way too make your stay enjoyable. Myself and my dog stayed for 3 weeks and could not fault the cleanliness of the hotel and sports facilities where the staff were also very friendly. My only complaint would be the poor choice of menu and cost of the food. However there are takeaway venues near buy that will deliver. I also had problems booking the in house beautician who only replied to one of my texts when I had sent several which I felt was unprofessional and although not employed by the hotel let the double trees down. I ended up going too a nearby salon instead. I would recommend this hotel too both young and old. I would definitely return. I did have 2 nights out of the 3 weeks where I had disturbed sleep due to noisy guests. But overall very enjoyable 3 weeks and was given a complimentary meal due too the reason for my lengthy stay which was greatly appreciated. Disappointed too be leaving.

Stayed for one night and can't fault a thing. The staff were great and very helpful whilst the food and the room was also good. Would stay again.

Nice location. Great leisure facilities. Breakfast superb, totally spot on with food selection and service. Dinner very disappointing like a scene from Faulty Towers on both nights of our short stay. >1hr wait seeing organised chaos and ending up with food similar to a cheap microwave meal. Expected better from Hilton.

Welcome was warm and inviting. Food… well what can you say. I have been in the catering trade for over 30 years mainly at head chef level and above. Never had to complain at any point in time wherever I have stayed. They have carried out a cardinal sin In my opinion…! you sit down, order your food, everyone's food arrives except yours. Now if you can't get the food to the table that is just poor. Bad food at least has a chance to be rectified. If you can't get it to the customer what hope is their, so the whole attempt is irrelevant, might as well go to the chippy. Now of ALL the people in that restaurant I know the effort that goes into trying to provide a decent menu. Poor show people, poor show. If I had been responsible for this my ass would be kicked. WILL NOT be back. Will not recommend. Poor show.

Staff were really lovely and as part of our afternoon tea offered myself a mocktail since I couldn't have champagne due to driving. Afternoon tea was tasty. Leisure area clean with a nice pool/sauna.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar which does casual food and a fine dining restaurant. The bar food was good.

We attended the Street Party last night and have to say it was a great night. After reading the previous reviews I was a bit unsure how the night would be.
The food was good and there was plenty of choice and the music was also very good, so much so the dance floor was full constantly.
The extra touches of the glitter tattoos, magician and elfie selfies were fab (A good laugh)
I know it's each to their own with regards to a night out and what we expect for our money however, I was very impressed that staff were constantly reassuring us that if there was anything they could do for us we just had to ask. There was also a paper on each table which clearly noted that if we had any issues staff would be happy to assist if we asked them.
We stayed the night and the room and breakfast this morning were both lovely and once again so were the staff.
I would definitely recommend this for a good night out with friends that are game for a laugh and want a good night out.

After having a great Christmas Party night last year, was looking forward to this year however was very disappointed. To start with, we had to queue for around 15 minutes to get into the ball room, once we got our wrist bands (why?!? ), we tried to find our table but our party wasn’t even on the seating plan. It took the staff about half an hour to find us a table, we ended up eating standing up on the dance floor. Instead of a sit down meal, it was “street food” with three food stalls serving different dishes. The worst thing about this, was the queuing for food. Three stalls for approximately 400 people is not enough. There were signs on the stalls but these were below eye level so you couldn’t see what they said because of everyone standing in front of them. After a 15 minute wait in the queue, I got my hot dog which comprised of a rubbery sausage and a dry bun. I wasn’t about to queue again for more. Pudding was much the same, dry sticky toffee pudding, no sauce and were brought out in batches of 10, again a long wait! Eating the ‘food’ was off of cheap and nasty paper plates and using wooden disposable cutlery. There were crisps at the tables too in plastic bowls. When you pay £34 you don’t expect queues, substandard food and disposable cutlery. Frankly, I’ve had better school dinners! When you’re at a Hilton, you expect far better. Spa area needs updating, room was clean and bed very comfy! Restaurant was lovely, food was delicious and staff were fab! Good location, not too far from the centre.

Sadly disapointed by the restaurant today. On visiting a very popular and very busy craft fair today at the hotel, we thought we would take a break and grab something to eat at the bar area. After well over 1 hour of waiting and 3 chase ups to the staff, finally our food arrived. Thankfully the bar/resaurant was not busy (which was surprising) or we may never have got our food at all. I will also add that we were not the only ones unhappy with the delay. Plus points however are: the food was very tasty and we were offered it free of charge as an apology.

Was here for a function, so I can't comment on the rooms or the restaurant. Overall experience was good; the parking was ample and the function suite spacious. It would be beneficial however to have a separate entrance to the function suite so as to not disturb residents of the hotel. As with most functions, guests spill out of the main hall and in this case it was at the expense of the main reception area of the hotel.

It was a meeting about stroke and atrial fibrillation. Venue was good, plenty of parking, service was very good and the food was excellent quality. I would return here most definitely!

Visited the antiques and collector's fayre. Excellent. Held monthly and well worth the visit.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly upon arrival. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. Our needs were met for during our staff. Breakfast was beautiful!

Me and my family visiting the pool in the Hotel and it is nice and warm for our kid. The pool is clean and the sauna is very nice. Visiting the place once every two weeks.

Hi there, myself and family were in your hotel yesterday afternoon for afternoon tea. Very sorry to say that this is actually the worst afternoon tea in terms of service I've ever been to. Our afternoon tea was booked for 2pm, we didn't get any service from a waiter until 2:55 and he didn't even know it was ment to be an afternoon tea even after we showed him the voucher for it. (Btw we actually had to go to the bar to get him to even come over! ) 8 The poor waiter has obviously not been trained enough as he was nervous as hell had no idea what he was doing. We had no waiter come and ask us how our food was, we had to go up to the bar twice to ask for coffee and tea, atmosphere was horrendous — no music, was Put in the area behind the bar where not one person was sitting yet a few couples came in for afternoon tea to which they were led to the front with the rest of the guests. I will not be recommending the double tree hotel to any friends or family. I myself work in customer service and I am quite surprised by the level of customer service in such a well known establishment. Also one of the tiers had two sandwiches missing which just added to our disappointment. Would also like to point out I have emailed a complaint and private message you this already, it shows on Facebook that you have seen the message but yet I have had no response and to top it off the double tree actually liked my posts on Facebook which has quite frankly annoyed me even more.

It was a very beautiful hotel. The dinner was excellent. They have a nice swimming pool. We got a very tasty cookie on arrival.

The staff in the restaurant were incredible. They were helpful, polite and couldn't have been more knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. In comparison the staff in the pool need a lot of improvement. There was a kid's plaster on the pool floor for the two days I stayed. Lots of green slime and mould in drains and showers.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful and although the outside looked a bit shabby and dated the inside was very nice. The room was a bit on the small size but still comfortable. The main downside was the very low pressure in the shower. Breakfast was good with an excellent choice.

The hotel is on gorgeous grounds. The location was not central, but had access to the city centre via bus or taxi. The reception staff were really friendly and offered free hot cookies. When I got lost trying to find my way, a member of staff showed me all the way to the room. The room itself was a corner room at the very end of a wing, and it was far more spacious than the average hotel room. There was a sofa, coffee table, bed, wardrobe and a desk. The bathroom was clean throughout and had a non see through window, which allowed plenty of light into the whole room overall. The room was warm, with adjustable heating. I found the mattress slightly hard, but the duvet was really nice and soft. The breakfast choice was rather small for the price you pay, but tasted good overall. I did not have the chance to try the gym or the pool out. There was ample of free parking. Overall the hotel is slightly dated, but had all of the amenities you need and the friendliness of staff was out of this world.

Absolute disgrace workers don't know what they are doing you ask about the spa that say ask on the day you pay for the room then when it comes to paying for the room you should have booked the spa in advance.

Lovely room and great facilities.

This is a great hotel for exploring the area, very relaxing and well away from town. As expected there are a lot of business users during the week. The hotel has a small gym and a pool. The food is average and expected for a hotel, not a great selection but satisfying. The town is a short ride in a taxi to find places that might be a bit livelier or the food choice more expansive. The rooms are comfortable and the area is pretty quiet as this is mainly residential.

The treetops provided a great venue for the school of computing ball. Everyone thouroughly enjoyed the event and the staff were great. The food was nice but was basic, set menu. Great night though!

Hotel now getting quite tired. Room was awful; every floorboard squeaked, doors creaked, mattress was 10 years past useful. Breakfast and bar food fine, just the worst sleep I've ever had in a hotel.

I went to look at the gym facilities. They look good, however their class schedule needs to be altered to accommodate working people with 9-5 jobs.

The customer service was superb really top notch. Felt like a royal as a result of the treatment I received. The room was equally nice and good furniture detail. Only had breakfast which was rich in content. The location is really pristine as well nice and relaxing.

Genuinely the most hassle and frustration I have ever experienced in trying to amend a room booking. Hung up on 3 times by, I assume, a call centre and once I actually get through no one can tell me any details about the room, or anything else for that matter.

This is the worst hotel in Aberdeen. I have had the misfortune to stay 3 times recently, due to no availability at other hotels. 1st occasion — room stank of rot, 2nd — shoe-box room next to the antique elevator that clunked through the night — 3rd — another shoe box with the hotel's air conditioner directly outside the window. But there's no A/C in the rooms, only in public areas. Leads to the choice of sweltering in peace or being cool in noise — both of which mean no sleep. Generally, it's old and shabby and in need of a refurb.

The hotel is in a beautiful location near parks and pleasant neighbourhoods with nice areas to walk. The breakfast was amazing since there were a variety of options to choose from. Excellent leisure facilities which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel.

We have stayed for five days. The area was nice, quiet street and it was near the city center. The stay was pleasant although the rooms are small and there were problems with the room heating. It was really good that if you are unable to book a table you can still eat from the menu in the bar. The food was delicious.

The room, not spacious as other hotels, was clean and comfortable. Sauna and steam room were amazing. The only downside was the weather. Great visit.

The whole staff is very nice and friendly, always smiling! My room was a bit small, but clean and tidy. The food was great, especially the salmon. This is not my first visit and it will definitely not be my last.

I travel to Aberdeen regularly and this hotel is always my first choice. Comfortable rooms, excellent food and fantastic staff! Bit out of town but only a short bus/taxi ride or good walk.

Attended a wedding here. Very well organised. Staff very attentive and well drilled without being imposing. Food was very good. Better than I expected for a meal at a large scale wedding. Very impressed.
