Family booking for Christmas Day traveled 350 miles to spend the first Christmas in over 30 years with my family it was the biggest shambles I’ve ever experienced. Event 15:00/18:00 told the first round of drinks was table service it was gone 17:00 and multiple times chasing the drinks before they were served. Tables getting food in dribs and drabs, some tables had 3 courses before others had 1 course. Our table fist mains not served till 17:30 and the food was over cooked I wouldn’t have given it to my dog, some didn’t even get a main. This was the case for many, people left in their droves. Very poorly managed no communication or explanation, and had the cheek to delete negative but very valid comments. This is one Normandy you will have difficulty coming back from next Christmas. Zero stars.

Absolutely disgusting family night and we’re all outside after complaining of burnt steak pie now fire alarms been off.

Worst function I have ever been to. Crammed in like sardines, tribute act was like a dying cat and the meal was standard. Only god send was the dj but again he repeated exact same material as our free nhs night. Terrible all round event full refund please.

Had a fabulous night at the Normandy tonight, Abba tribute night. Meal was lovely, entertainment was excellent, the only downside was drink was very expensive. No need for it, place was packed & plenty profit to be made. Just greed.

I went to a tribute night and it’s was fantastic definitely worth it, however the meal was disgusting. Pink chicken on the bone, one potato 2 carrots and 2 swede I think it was. Couldn’t eat it 😩

I booked the Normandy for my wedding reception, I was away for half the day so only needed the party package for at night the events manager Geraldine from start to finish was absolutly fantastic, she was so accommodating, professional and friendly really went above and beyond to make sure everything was as we wanted it, we ate at the restaraunt and had breakfast twice the food was wonderful and they cater well for vegans too, the restaraunt is beautiful aswell as the bar area and very reasonable prices for both food and drink, plenty of sitting area and just a good atmosphere in general as we booked for our wedding reception we were given a really beautiful room, it was spotless and good comfy bed the function suit we booked was the cedar suit which was perfect and there was around 75 guests and still so much space and on the dancefloor too, the tables and chairs were lovely with chair covers and table linen on and set up for us, all we had to do was order balloons and the hotel took care of the rest, the staff were very friendly and helpful, good quick check in too and we all had a brilliant night I will definetly be back to the Normandy and recommend it :)

Cracking night! Emergency key workers night. Brilliant, food was delicious, wouldn’t have minded an extra roast tottie or two though, staff were lovely, weird that no SIA staff are asking to bag check though 🧐 not sure how legal that is… but brilliant Dj!

This is the most unorganized restaurant, booked our table for 8 and they proceeded to give our table away, we were not the only ones. The staff were doing their best but due to management greed and accepting a coach trip, when they were unable to cope with the demand. The service was atrocious. The time it s now 9.30 and still waiting in the bar for food.

The service is Incredible, I would highly recommend at the bar is Rachel and Amy. Who gave amazing service for our full stay, I would even say that asking for either of them is paramount to the quality of your stay.

Me and my friends booked for the tribute night and stayed over. We all had a brilliant night. Fantastic songs, music and entertainment. Food served and hot breakfast was really good, and all their staff are lovely. Definitely coming back. 🥰

Had my wedding here on the 14th of may fantastic day and night would like to thank Geraldine who was fantastic out the the whole process and Gary who was also fantastic especially with my we boy and Michelle and Ryan lovely friendly staff.

Came here on Saturday with 15 other guest for my daughter’s 21st celebration everyone of us had a fantastic time staff were great food was lovely and the entertainment was brilliant. We will definitely be coming back. If I could suggest one thing it would be that the meal was served a bit earlier.

Tribute night was fantastic, friendly aptosphere, staff were all so lovely, food was very enjoyable, beds in their rooms were very comfortable so cozy great sleep, can't fault this hotel, definitely be back.

I attended one of the many tribute nights along with an overnight stay. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean and comfortable to stay. Tribute nights are brilliant, and the meal that’s included is fantastic and delicious. Breakfast consists of a help yourself buffet, and it has everything you could want to set you up for the day. Wide variety to choose from and it’s all delicious. I intend to continue attending this hotel for overnight stays and their tribute nights.

Lovely clean hotel friendly approachable staff an good food.

This hotel is quite dated could do with a refresh. The price does not appear to match the condition. Yet to sample it’s bar or dining facilities, wait out on that.

The Staff were so pleasant and helpful and the Tribute Night was fab!

I booked the hotel for my wedding before lockdown and the wedding coordinator Tony left during the first lockdown so I was left with no communication and no one in charge of my wedding. When they finally appointed someone she was absolutely useless, lost all our choices and information 6 weeks before the wedding then goes off sick! The next person takes over then goes off sick with no one communicating with me at all, not answering emails for weeks at a time! All I kept hearing was "I can only apologise" which I was sick of hearing, the food service was terrible with the 3 girls serving standing playing on their phones! The children's food was wrong and very late! All I can say is that they lost a great worker in Tony and if they keep this up they will go out of business! If you want stress you will definitely get it there.

Location is excellent for those using Glasgow airport. Cars are kept securely and good transfers to the airport.
Great value for money too. Gluten free menu in the restaurant.

Was here with my partner for a well deserved break and attended the Motown tribute night. Was honestly such an amazing nite staff so friendly amazing atmosphere and amazing food. The singers were amazing and friendly with guests. Will definitely be back

This place is a joke phoned 8 times to ask to add people on to out hogmany ball and I have been passed on to about 6 different staff members all telling me something different one telling me yes there’s rooms available other telling me no their fully booked also feel as tho they can’t be bothered speaking to you on the phone! Some new friendly helpful staff would do this place the world of good!

Very well managed friendly hotel, All the staff are excellent from the lovely welcome at reception to the bar and restaurant. Food was beautiful, well presented and served. Everywhere is pristine and the prices are great, well done to everyone involved in the smooth running of the hotel.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone absolutely amazing service, staff, accommodation and wedding venue. Have given us the best memories.

No frills place only ten minutes from the airport. The vast majority of guests are there to get their head down either going or coming home from holiday. Very competitively priced, offering parking and a free shuttle service to the airport. Very dated and tired public areas but the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable (if the pillows are not great). Fans are available from reception as opening windows can be a noisy … the dining there is surprisingly good… ask for a room at the back as these are quietest!

Why would you not use this airport if you were flying from Glasgow airport. Great selection behind the bar. A decent bar menu. It was cheaper to stay here a night and leave the car for a week than use air port parking. Transfers to and from the airport which is 10 mins by mini bus all included in the price.

Very uncomfortable beds, unfriendly staff in the reception and old furniture. Very expensive for what they offers. The good things is the free parking and big number of places.

Room small and not what we thought we were getting when we ordered "superior" room. Hotel needs an overhaul. Carpets worn, furniture dated etc. No air conditioning and rooms hot. Due to airplane noise you can't sleep with windows open. It is okay for one night to be close to airport but for the money difference I would stay elsewhere. Holiday Inn at the airport would have been a better choice. Food in the restaurant was good but slow service and expensive. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great meeting at our venue for Clash of Clans 2. The staff have already gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and on another note the food is brilliant. Looking forward to working with this venue!

Very good prices at the Normandy Hotel compared to other hotels in the area. We arrived ahead of our flight at 6am, had dinner and slept overnight. The hotel allow you to leave your car for up to 15 days free of charge (which means it definitely is worth it) and have a room for around £80. What a bargain. They even have two small shuttle vans that work diligently to drop you off for your flight and pick you up when you get back. Only downside is that it is popular for parties, weddings etc so it was rather noisy.

We booked into Normandy the night before our early morning flight. We found it difficult to get a car parking space, eventially getting one in the car park behind the hotel, quite a distance away. We had to push 4 cases in the uneven/rocky road, unfortunately my large case got stuck on a stone and I ended up falling over it scraping my hand and knee and bruised my ribs too. We were late checking in and away at 3am so did not use any facilities/restaurant in hotel so cant comment on these. When we returned the driver dropped us off and we noticed the car had been moved to the front car park, unfortunately it is still uneven and rocky, again I fell making another good job hurting my knee, blood pouring from it. After the 1st accident the duty manager was very helpful and gave me dressings and wipes, she also promised a discount if we used the hotel sgain. Nothing was offered the 2nd time but I used a sink in the lafies toilet to clean it all. I hope they can flatten the surface a bit as it is a bit dangerous. I was impressed at the mini bus driver not laughing when I fell in front of him.

Attended the Grease/Dirty Dancing tribute night for My Daughter's Hen do… And we weren't disappointed… the set up, Food, Staff, and most of all The Entertainment Team. Was Brilliant… all our Hen's & The Bride to Be had a fantastic night from start to finish… We Danced the feet of ourselves… I would Certainely recommend this Venue… and I would love to return with my 2 Daughters and her bridesmaid for an overnite stay to relax then to party the night away at another one of your terrific nights… Thanks to all…

I was at the George Michael/Ro bbie Williams tribute on Saturday for my hen night… I had the best night ever entertainment, food and tribute act were spot on… made my night so special x.

Attended the 80's tribute night. Food was good and drinks were expensive as you would expect at a hotel but the only person that gave this night it's money's worth was Shuggy Wuggy. I have seen him over the years so when I attended this event and saw him there I knew what he would give would make it a great night. I was not disappointed he is a pure entertainer and gave the whole place fantastic entertainment through the meal and for a short time after the food was done too. Unfortunately the Live entertainment after him was a huge anti climax to what was building up to be a great night. Musically they were ok but the lead singer was awful and after only 4 songs my whole party agreed we could not listen to him. Not sure if Shuggy Wuggy came back on later but in my opinion it would have been better if he was on all night or even just a DJ playing original 80's music. I do feel I got my money worth just based on what entertainment we received from Shuggy Wuggy during the meal but would not recommend this night for any other reason if that is the Live band used in all the 80's tribute night's. If it had not been for Shuggy Wuggy this would have been a 1 star rating and the food and service from staff during meal is what would have got the star.

Hit a warm spell in Scotland with no air conditioning unit in the hotel… in fact some heating units were on. The rooms were too hot for a good sleep. That being said, the older hotel was comfortable and clean. A really good value for the money.

OK for 1 night before flying as very near airports and with good frequently shuttle to airport. Down side rooms have very little ventilation but are big with comfy beds and not bad bathrooms. Seems to be a bit of a party hotel at weekends very noisy for a light sleeper on an early flight.

Got a great deal. Bed for the night before flight. 12 nights car parking, drop off and pick up to and from airport. Clean and comfortable all for £45.

Stayed here before an early flight. The price for an overnight stay and parking for 15 days was very reasonable. Room was adequate and comfortable but could do with some redecoration. Staff were pleasant and parking was easy. The car was bought nearer to the front of the hotel upon our return. Would use again.

First time visit for a week. Love it. Good breakfast. Even ordered a pista at 10pm. Some late night noise when specials on. Will gladly return.

We use this hotel for park and fly, you can find some great deals online. Hotel is looking a bit tired but is clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful. And hotel only 5 minutes from Glasgow airport, which they take you there and pick you up again at the end of your trip.

We requested twin rooms but got doubles which was awkward as we were all women and not all related. Also noise from party went on until 2am followed by buses picking up party goers. The only good thing was the free parking while we were abroad. Do not expect to sleep at this hotel.

This hotel does not reach 1 star, it is of lousy quality, the mattresses are old and broken, the old and dirty room, it is a real shame, we changed the room but it turned out the same. I would not recommend it at all, the only thing is that it is close to the airport at 10 minutes, but it is preferable other options, I will never return, I forgot: the non-smoking rooms do not smell like tobacco, but they stink alcohol just like the whole hotel. I just invented a new room option: "No alcoholic".

We were at glamarama tribute last night 17/3/18 for a friends 50th birthday had a fab time. The girls were great. Best part of the night was the dj shuggy wuggy he had the place all going and joining in … he does a fab job best about the food was good and well worth the money.

Firstly, this hotel is always busy, there is always something going on, be it a tribute act or an event. A reassuring fact for anyone thinking of booking the hotel is that corporate and private functions are always on the go… Staff are great, they're customer focused, request something and they will either attend to it or find someone who can! Food is good. Can't tell you about prices as I have only attended private and corporate functions as a guest. Parking is a premium, free but it's a busy place, though I have to say I have always found somewhere to park! Now the down side, this hotel has been around for a long time and is creaking a little, is clean and tidy but just old, so if you can see by this, is a good venue to choose!

Great if catching a plane the next day. Free bus service from hotel to airport in minutes. Very convenient. Lovely bar with restaurant Food is good.

As regular flyers from glasgow airport this place is perfectly located and has a shuttle to take you to and from airport which is literally a 5min back road away. Prices are steep inside the bar and restaurant but the basic rooms have all you need and we always get a great deal for an overnight stay, shuttle to and from airport and parking for the length of our holiday. Way cheaper than leaving car at airport.

There for a wedding. The rooms are very tired looking and in need of a major overhaul. The food at the wedding however was superb, really nice meal.

First the price for one night was unbelievable at under £50.00 and that includes parking the car for up to 15 days. An exceptionally friendly driver to take you to and from the airport. Nicest receptionists to welcome your visit and nothing is a problem. A credit to the hotel. Totally accepted that the price would include a small room but it wasn't bad at all and spotless. Bed was very comfortable and it was a great nights sleep. The Steakhouse was excellent. Perfect. Quality meat and the steak was cooked to perfection. Lovely and friendly staff. Thank you for setting our holiday off to a great start. We'll be back even if we don't go on holiday. Great for a City visit.

Perfect for an overnight stay before flying the next morning. Parking is great, leave your car while your away and they'll shuttle you to and from the airport. Would definitely recommend!

Five minute drive from the airport, they run a regular drop off/pick up service to the airport, allowing you to leave your car there. Great staff. My room was a little compact, but had everything it needed and provided a comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom included a mini bath, which was great, combined with the never ending supply if hot water. Facilities excellent. A little bit tired in places, but it well exceeded my expectations, especially for £35 a night. Cracking deal.

Very dirty, sloppy, old and smells very bad.
Expensive, an excessive price for a room of the years 70.
Very damaged furniture, walls and shattered doors.
The carpet emanates a foul smell just entering the hotel and the tiny rooms like that.
Sleeping is complicated by the noise of airplanes and the light coming through the windows.
Good breakfast.
For me this hotel will be the last option.

I had my hen party here at one of their fabulous tribute nights. The staff were amazing and very accommodating and the rooms were impeccable. Would definitely stay again.

Good for a stay and fly. Safe parking and inexpensive. Very busy but well organised. Rooms basic but clean. Has lots of functions be prepared for hectic.

Stayed here before going on holiday. Spotlessly clean although getting a bit 'tired' but good value for money. Left our car in their park whilst away and had no problems.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Prices are excessive for food & drinks. Couldn't get parked. Food was good when it finally arrived after 45 minutes waiting. Room is horrendous! There isn't enough space for 2 people and 2 suitcases. Bed is uncomfortably. Tiles in bathroom are cracked and have black mould. I will Never stay here again.

Clean hotel nearby Glasgow airport. Helpful staff. I had flat battery on my way back from holiday. 5 minutes later hotel's van was next to my car with jump leads so I've saved time waiting for my own assistance service.

Very clean but quite small rooms, very nice breakfast, Staff highlights are shuttle drivers who are professional, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, in contrast to the behind the front desk staff team which is clearly on autopilot. Pretty good value for the money.

Double room was quite small. Only two sockets which was disappointing. Bathroom toilet didn't flush very well and there was no shower curtain. Everything was clean though. Staff were friendly and the restaurant says good. 5 min free shuttle ride from the airport was useful.

The food was good, drinks over priced at the bar. The room was tiny, too hot and I also didn't appreciate having the doors knocked on my floor by staff 30 minutes before check out, I'm assuming to make sure we were ready.

Room was decent size considering the low cost price. Reception and bar staff welcoming, friendly and happy to engage conversation. If you are leaving your car for a few days they will move it to a secure car park themselves. You are required to fill out car make model etc and the mileage and if there is any form of damage on your vehicle. This I was not so keen on, I'd have rather moved it myself then taken back to the hotel. Shuttle service to airport was prompt and the drivers were friendly and helpful. Pleasant place to stay before a holiday, can and have stayed in a lot worse.

We arrived late and left early so can't comment on food. Service at the the reception was good and fast on arrival and departure. Bedrooms were small and a bit noisy but clean. Really good shuttle service to Glasgow Airport 10 minutes away. Overall the hotel looks quite tired but very much value for money including the holiday car parking. Would use again if flying from Glasgow.

Floor tiles missing in bathroom, toilet roll holder broken off, chunks of wood/paint broken off furniture and window sills, staff not friendly, mattress on bed was horrendous! I managed 3 hours of broken sleep before I gave up trying. However, tribute night and food were great. I still wouldn't go back though.

I have just returned from trying to deliver a surprise birthday cake to The Normandy Hotel in Renfrew. I was told that they could not take the cake for the event on Saturday 14th September as they did not want responsibility for it. I was gobsmacked as I have never came across such poor customer service. I explained it was for my Auntie, who was traveling from the East to the hotel for her birthday with a large group of family and friends and as I was going away for the weekend could not return on the Saturday night with the cake, I had driven 18 miles to deliver the cake already! I said I was taking responsibility for the cake and there would be no redress to the hotel if it were to be damaged. Still the unhelpful receptionist said "No" "We can't take responsibility". I am very angry with the poor customer service received and going by other reviews would advise people to think twice before giving them your business.

We would never use this hotel again. This is our experience. We booked in on 28 Feb for an early morning flight. Found the secure carpark was a glorified muddy field and had to walk through mud and grass in the dark dressed in our clothes for a hot climate (Egypt). After much difficulty found the back entrance to hotel. Got in only to be told we were being shunted to another hotel — vague explanation given about some "electrical problem" but we suspect it had something to do with the Tribute night taking place. On reading the other bad reviews for this hotel maybe it was a mixed blessing we were moved elsewhere!. Faced with the prospect of leaving our car deep in the mud for a week we decided on the advise of a car park attendant to move it to the front of the hotel within view of the reception area. OK this was not part of the secure car parking. Guess what? on our return the wing mirror was hanging off. As this is a BMW we expect to have to pay around £150 — £200 to have it repaired. So much for free parking!. Yes we did complain on our return to the duty manager only to be told that it was parked at "owners risk" in main carpark.
