So near the bus station and theatre. Cinema just across the road and lovely Italian on the other corner.

Great room and restaurant. Location excellent. Only downside was the bar closing at 22:45?. When I asked the surly young man, cleaning behind the bar, if residents could still get a drink he just slammed a bar closed notice down on the counter in front of me. I find this strange as the price mark up on the drinks means that the bar is one area of the hotel which must be raking in the cash. There were a good few customers turned away.

Comfortable clean room, great nights sleep. Good choice at breakfast. At breakfast people didn't appear to be sticking to their time slots so it was extremely busy. The staff handled what was obviously a stressful situation very well, Irene who was working in the breakfast room was especially nice. All round the staff where polite and it was a nice stay.

Excellent. I wanted to take the mattress home with me. Small room but modern and comfortable.

First time travelling alone and was made to feel safe and secure. Also great restaurant, service and food.
Would definitely recommend.

The staff were welcoming. Bed was a fab size. Really close to town centre. Breakfast was good. Everywhere was really clean.

The staff where lovely and the food was great all round had a very good night there with friends.

I'm not far from Glasgow but I stay 4 time a year we love it bit more pricey than other hotels in Glasgow but worth it great staff treat all guests the same regardless of back ground rooms are great only one point maybe more cups glasses in family room breakfast is awesome dinner room staff are outstanding and so nice especially when you have teens who love your food we have great time everytime thanks.

We had a lovely dinner, taking advantage of the offer of a 2 course meal plus a carafe of wine for, I think £37.50. The food was perfect and the restaurant had a great ambience. We've stayed at this hotel several times and have always been pleased with the service and the staff. A pleasant surprise on this occasion was a complimentary upgrade to one of the penthouse suites! I have also had upgrades to an executive room in the past — it's well worth joining the ihg rewards programme to enjoy these benefits. I can't fault the hotel or the staff. 10/10.

The Restaurant has fantastic food.

We where early but got to checkin and a room was ready 2 hours early. Loved the peace and their breakfast was lovely, best scrambled egg ever.

Lots of eateries nearby, Tesco and Salisbury supermarkets are within a fifteen minutes walk. Lifts are small and with only. Pne working when we were there was an inconvenience but I strongly recommend staying here.

We stayed two nights and loved it. Staff make a real effort to welcome and please. Pleasant clean room, comfortable bed, a/c if needed. Very good breakfast and delicious food from the restaurant. We plan to return to this great city and stay at this centrally positioned, great hotel again.

Excellent hotel for position, food and courtesy. Private parking is available in front of the hotel, subway is very near and is very beautiful walking through the centre to Buchanan subway station. Station and bus500 from and to the airport are at 100meters to the hotel. Buchanam Gallery and S. John commercial centre are also in front of. Breakfast is intercontinental and very assorted of any kind of food.

Food service and rooms excellant. If it wasn't for the branding you would never know your in a holiday inn.

Had a good day/night (yesterday) at my friends wedding. Food was lovely and staff were nice but some were a bit slow. Only thing I have to say is the drink was expensive and cans of juice were dearer than draft. Overall good place.

Beautiful room, very well appointed. Soya milk brought up so we could have in-room tea and coffee. Only left off star because bin in bathroom was full when we arrived, and took a few hours for someone to come up and empty. Also, in room fridge didn't work and no option to fix until next morning. Staff were totally apologetic, helpful as could be and lovely, I would not fault them in any way. Staff get 10 stars!

Strategic location. You can visit the centre on foot starting from the hotel. I was given a suite even if I hadn't booked it. Spacious room. Small bathroom but with jacuzzi.

Fairly central hotel near Charing Cross. Room was clean and had a decent bathroom. Handy for theatres and Sauchiehall Street. Quick exit onto M8 for airport.

I had a really good business stay at this hotel which is in the heart of Glasgow the staff are excellent rooms really good and the price was absolutely fantastic one of my better days and would definitely recommend and come back again.

The room was very clean and the breakfast room was very clean… many aromas of fried food.

The staff is the only thing worth it in this hotel, very good. The services are very poor and the breakfast is like to choose room without more. Any three stars in Spain is superior to this supposed four stars with almost five price.

I’ve stayed in a wide variety of both Holiday Inn and Express up and down the UK, this is by far and away the best experience. Meals both dinner and breakfast very tasty with a nice selection, rooms modern and tidy with really polite and courteous staff. Great locations to both rail and bus stations, perfect spot to adventure Glasgow! Unfortunate for me it was just a bed for the night, onward to Aberdeen for me.

This place is a dump. There are many many other hotels in the area that are better values. The room smelled, the creature comforts such as a television and mini fridge weren't available and there was only one dimly lit lamp for the room. This is a shameful hotel in a good location.

Had a Executive Room, was lovely and comfortable. Staff were great and location is right in the middle of Glasgow City centre. 3 minute walk from the bus station and shops. Great for anyone visiting and/or staying overnight.

Excellent location, just a few steps from the bus station, strategic "from" and "to" the airport. The room I used was small, especially the bed at 1 and half square is inconvenient if you are in two. Very bad the absence of the minibar, small TV. Good English breakfast, with a wide choice of sweet and savory. Very friendly staff. If I go back to Glasgow it might represent an option.

It was great food was good but the parking was bad. I was searching for the parking more over they didn't provide parking. As per room bed was not up to the mark and the extra bed was too bad you can also get back pain. Restroom was too good and food, breakfast was good. People who like to purchase I prefer holiday inn because it is located in the city centre, 3 cathedral, movie theatre, gallery, bus stand and lot of shop are just in walkable distance. For the price the inn is not worthy.

Excellent hotel with attentive staff and well-equipped rooms. Lovely attached restaurant: La Bonne Auberge. Only drawback is your room may not have a view of anything apart from a roof and air conditioning units.

A beautiful hybrid place, bar and restaurant, with warm and pleasant colors.

Good value for money. I was curious that the washbasins used the same entrance door to separate shower and toilet.

Pros: good location with nearby restaurants, cinema, tons of shops, in walking distance to many historical sites, free breakfast, and okay staff. Cons: 12 pounds per 24 hours of parking across the street with self service machines (no attendant), no restaurant directly within the hotel, unhealthy foods in the lobby, the TV is small, and the bed is so so with relatively not so soft pillows.

Great rooms at the hotel recently renovated. Hotel rooms wete very clean and cosy. The room service menu was not very extensive with limited range. However the food was very good.

Perfect location. Up from Queen Street Station and a minute from Buchannan Bus Station. Ideal for commuting with an overnight stop. The hot buffet breakfast is good.

Small rooms compared to USA Holiday Inn's but it's a different culture and enivorment. The restaurant below has great breakfast! Rooms where clean and quite. I enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Located very close to the Glasgow Busstation, which is great if you are coming from Edinburgh airport late at night. A very nice lobby is processed by a very nice modern style room. Very clean and fresh.

Really great hotel. The rooms were lovely and had all the commodities you need when staying such as plenty of sockets for laptops and phones. The restaurant was also amazing. It did a great breakfast.

Nice hotel but the rooms are a little small (specially the en-suite). We were in an executive suit, and even that was small. The buffet has a good variety, but nothing crazy. Reception people are really polite.

This was my first visit to the Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland. I was here to see a concert at the Clyde Auditorium with a friend, and he wanted to see Glasgow city centre. We got on the express bus when we arrived at Glasgow Airport and got off at the last stop, Buchanan Bus Station. From there it was a minute or so walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and swiftly checked in and in our rooms in just a few minutes. Accommodation was very good. Some of the rooms are compact, but more than serves their purpose. Breakfast is buffet-style, although fried, poached and boiled eggs are done to order, as are certain other things. Food quality is very good and although we didn't have dinner at the hotel, then menu looked decent enough. I would happily stay here again whenever I'm in Glasgow, and would recommend it to anyone. You are within easy reach of the city centre, shopping and railway stations.

Ended up with a twin room. Beds are a little close together if you are sharing but comfortable. Very clean with a good shower. Iron and board in the wardrobe which was good too. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of fresh and more importantly hot standard cooked breakfast fare.

Good location. Cute hotel but if you have a party downstairs and are in room 101 it feels like the band is in your room. No sleep… literally you feel Ike you are attending the party. Unacceptable for a hotel room and my 76 year old mother.

Some of the staff members are very rude, my reservation got canceled without notification, the worst and most stressful holiday Inn experience I ever had.

Very nice hotel. We stayed here overnight and it was very good. Nice location, easy with public transport. Friendly staff. The bed was very good, I liked to option of choosing which pillow you like, soft or firm. The shower was nice and clean. The room had some nice gadgets.
