Just had our woodfarm high school reunion in the clarkston suite it was a fantastic night food was amazing as were the staff, lovely venue.

Amazing evening wedding party at the Redhurst. Beautiful hotel and staff were so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend! ❤️

Had brunch with my mum today. Full Scottish breakfast and a rosti stack, both absolutely delicious and service was excellent.

Had lunch today and honestly can not praise the staff enough. Every single team member went above and beyond. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff overhead my niece wanting pancakes and me saying she couldn't as it was just after 1pm and they checked with chefs and offered to make her them. Even a staff member finished his shift and leaving went out his way to hold doors and help me get my disabled nana outside. Highly recommend the food and staff xxx.

Very good food. Staff very friendly but the only thing was they got the wrong sweet order.

The hotel is really lovely now, decor etc is nice and the rooms are too. I had a meal at an event last night and the food was nice too. However the bed was really uncomfortable although a double it could also be a single you could feel where it was joined down the middle. Went for breakfast this morning, although there was spare tables there was none set up with cups cutlery etc. The waitress said “everyone has come for breakfast at the same time which isn’t really convenient”. I asked for milk. She took salt pepper an unused jam jar and a USED jug of milk from a table that hadn’t yet been cleared from a previous customer. I asked for fresh milk. And don’t think I should have been given this from a used to table regardless with of covid. We were provided with toast but hadn’t yet been asked for our breakfast order so when the food came the toast was cold. I also had to to ask for butter, which came 3 little round bits in a dish but the butter was directly out the freezer. I couldn’t cut it with a knife and could see a bit of ice on it. I asked for more butter — it came backing. Hot dish I assume just our the microwave slightly melted at the bottom but still frozen. 35 minutes later food arrived. Disappointing when the hotel is lovely. Let the receptionist know my comments but she said thanks for staying with us hope you come back again 🤦🏽‍♀️

Fantastic night here for my mums retirement party. Room had to be changed at the last minute due to a technical fault but was dealt with very quickly and professionally.
The staff were so kind and friendly. A particular mention for Lorraine who went out of her way to provide such a great, warm service. DJ was fantastic too, she listens and responded to our music tastes. A great night all round! Thank you.

Great service! Was here for our friends wedding had an overnight stay; Jack behind the bar was outstanding, made us feel really welcome and very attentive. Would really recommend the Redhurst🎉🥂

Hired for my sons 21st birthday and would like to say a massive big thank you to Lesley & Lorraine and all the wonderful staff for making the whole process hassle free. Nothing was a problem from decor, food and bar staff. Looking forward to seeing you all in September. Great function venue.

Fantastic venue and the staff were amazing was doing cabaret in here tonight for a family really enjoyed my experience in this beautiful hotel.

Went to hogmanay ball tonight. Food was lovely service was fab but didnt think the band was that great to be honest. Wouldn't have been missed but overall a good night thank you.

Please do something about your air conditioning! It was too warm, very, very uncomfortable! Apart from that it was a good night with lovely staff.

Had my wedding day at the redhurst Hotel yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were amazing and made my day such an amazing experience!
Lorraine in particular was amazing from the day we booked our wedding about a year and a half ago! She has had loads of appointments with us and made the planning of our wedding so stress free! Can't recommend this place enough! Thank u to all who made our day so special I honestly couldn't thank yous enough!

We celebrated our Ruby wedding anniversary at the Redhurst Hotel and have nothing but praise to say about the way they handled our event. From the day we made the booking to the day of the event, the staff were very helpful and patient with us when we chopped and changed our plans. Keep up the good work Lesley Smith, Carol and Lorraine, you should be proud of your staff.

We hosted a 21st Birthday party for our son, at the Redhurst, and were delighted with the quality of the food and service. Lovely welcoming staff who went above and beyond to help us and welcome our guests, especially I would thank Lorraine Liz and Jack and also very important for a party, great music!

Average pub though the drinks can be pricey (£3.60 for a Tennant's) but the staff are friendly and efficient! You can use card here with no fuss. The function suite is nice and, based on the event I attended, the meal we had was good for the most part. The vegetarian option is had was quite nice, a kind of rice and vegetables pie with a lovely tomato sauce and a flaky puff pastry though I had friends saying that the meat option, Grampian chicken, was too dry with not enough of the cream sauce that was provided. They did also have a vegan option which was a nice touch. Overall pleased with my experience though it wouldn't be my pub of choice, would go for an event in their function suite depending on what it was!

A truly great experience. The Giffnock Suite is excellent, a very much recommended room. Staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming.

You can see that the hotel is from 1977. The inventory is already somewhat worn out, but this does not affect the functionality. The front rooms can be quite noisy, especially if there is a celebration in the adjoining suite. The ashtrays are also placed in front of the house, that you can always smell. Cleaning was done daily and the staff is very friendly and very hard-working. Breakfast is standard. You can reach the city quite quickly, but also the way to the surrounding area is uncomplicated.

Friendly clean reasonable price and location.

Nice stay with excellent food. Had to keep windows open though as very hot in the room and no air conditioning. Not the hotel's fault though. There was just a heatwave during my stay over.

We had our daughter's Naming Ceremony in the Clarkston Room yesterday and we had such a fabulous day. The staff were very friendly and approachable. They were a fantastic help to us in getting the room decorated, helping with chair covers and bows, and floral arrangements. Our guests were served afternoon tea which not only had a fantastic selection of sandwiches, wraps, cakes and scones, but was beautifully presented as well.
We would highly recommend The Redhurst Hotel for events and functions. We'll definitely be back soon for afternoon tea again.

No rush to serve at lunch ended up leaving felt like a burden.

Took my wife tonight for her 50th birthday. Wow the new menu is fantastic. Had King prawns in chilli and garlic for starters. Followed by roasted scots salmon wow fantastic meal. Lovely attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. Thanks very much Pete and viv Muir.

If I can make 0 stars I will. We booked a room for our friends and they was very disappointed. Room is been freezing and not very clean. Absolutely not recommend.

Very nice place, prices have gone up, still very nice food.

Large but cosy bar with restaurant facilities attached to the hotel. Comfortable and quiet (if you're at the opposite end from the large TV screen). Not fashionable or outstanding but a decent local option.

Staff were great. Very polite and on the ball.

Public bar was a bit dated however service was good also lager could have been a bit colder. Alright to meet up would not stay long.

I was only attending a talk at the hotel but I had a really positive experience. The welcome at reception was really friendly and welcoming. Everywhere was clean and well kept. The facilities were very good too.

We visited for a funeral today. Very attentive function room a tad cold but it was good venue.

We are so glad we chose the Redhurst for our trip to Glasgow, amazing value, the food was the best we have ever had in a hotel and the staff went well beyond their duties to help.

Nice wee place, and pretty cheap beer compared to other places I've been. No complaints.

out for dinner on Christmas Day and was a bit
apprehensive but there was absolutely no need to be. Food was lovely and was refreshing to hear that you changed the starter as you didn’t think it was upto scratch, the starter which we did get was delicious. The kids had an absolute ball, which made it easier on us parents. Thanks again and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again or recommend for next year.

Nice stay at the weekend.
But disappointed at the lack of spinach for eggs Florentine in the morning but Mushrooms added and always time in the world for Mushrooms in my book.
Bed a bit low for the wee man and no mobile phone plug point beside the bed in the modern age but a nice telly in bedroom though no lift.
Overall, a filling&well (speedily made too) made breakfast — seen better links at my neighbour's full Scottish breakfast mind you when I bought meat but good potato scone — for us all, weird stairs I felt but I'll give a 3 out of 5!
Ps. I liked the Telly in the eating area. I love the Telly.

As my friend wife was having her 50th birthday party on frid eve we decided to stay o/nite WISH WE HADNT. Arrived early eve had one of the worst meals ever. Yet website shows an extensive menu which staff didn't know about. Usual steak pie /haddock etc Haddock batter was thick and greasy chips under cooked. And spoonful luke warm mushy peas total waste of £32! then booked in. Rooms were back to 1960s beds shocking worst night sleep ever,, toilet took 15 mins to trickle fill and really noisey. Hot water tap scalding didn't even use shower as totally outdated not even thermostatic control (might even be breaking water bylaws on safety) TV speaker sound muffled and rear roof view all for £80 which was £10 more than advertised! Breakfast waited 25mins was terrible. Wife ordered omelette tasted like watery egg probably made from powdered egg! complained to young waiter never did get an answer NEVER AGAIN.

The location is perfect for work as its just over a mile away but has all connecting roads to all the main areas in Scotland. The rooms are nice and cosy and has a tunnocks caramel bar on the coffee tray (win) I was very late checking in and the old dude was really pleasant… Would stop again.

Was a great location for the event we were attending. They really need new pillows though. I normally sleep on one and had two and still wasn't enough they are so thin. Lovely touches with teacakes and rooms were clean. Can hear everything in the bathrooms. We could hear someone throwing up from two rooms away.

We went for christmas dinner and we were really disappointed. We were crammed in to long tables and it was really awkward to pull the chairs out as they had packed us in so tightly. Got the tiniest portion of melon, waited ages for the soup which was ok and dinner was really average at best — a bit dry and tasteless. Kids buffet was really limited in choice and my two were not impressed. They didn't get a kids dessert either. Thought it was a family disco but turned out to be rubbish kids entertainment although in fairness the kids seemed to enjoy it. Party went on till 9 but place had pretty much emptied by 8. For the money (best part of £400 for 8) I thought it was really disappointing. First time we've ate out at christmas and won't do it again.

I was here a few nights with my family, we claimed the failure to clean the bathroom just after our arrival. Inconceivable that on 3 rooms none had the bathroom clean, the toilet bowl was disgusting, the tub ditto. The girl at the front desk had to request an extraordinary cleaning to the staff after finding out the state of the bathrooms. Unfortunately we were required advance payment, still before seeing the rooms…

Nice service personnel, however, family room didn't have hot water. Would seem that hotel had turned boiler off over weekend to save money resulting in warm at best shower results. Ultimately, when running a bath for a baby, water was too cold. The location of the room was immediately above a function sweet which with a full blown Saturday night soundtrack could prove difficult for settling the kids. Plenty of potential for this place but I'm afraid we won't be back.

Breakfast & Dinner really good value, decent menu, generous portions and tasty. Room clean but in dire need of refurbishment. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

I've been to the Redhurst a few times. Once for an event in which the staff were excellent and the food was good. The other times I've popped in for a quick pint. The bar has a lovely old school feel to it, the staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Went for a few drinks with my pals before a night out. Good service, nice staff and an enjoyable atmosphere. Also got to sit and enjoy the rangers game. Was a good night.

We stayed at the Hotel on January 21st as we were attending a funeral at a nearby Cemetery. From check in to check out the staff were wonderful! We had four rooms and each of them were immaculate. The bar staff were extremely friendly also. The only fault I found, was the breakfast was slow to arrive and could be a little larger. Other than that We had a great stay. I would recommend The Redhurst great value and very friendly!

We booked only for one night fortunately, room was very cold and small, not particulary clean, also there was noise coming from other rooms during late night too. Terrible old shower and bathroom old style. Staff and reception was quite ok. This hotel is more like a ' bed and breakfast ' in our opinion but cost of the room is quite high considering the kind of the room and hotel. For general information the Kings park hotel and the Redhurst hotel are the same hotel.
