Would stay here again. Great customer service, beautiful location and good solid breakfast at a reasonable price.

Accomidation old but very clean and very comfortable the staff extremely friendly and helpful would definitely come again. Not to forget excellent breakfast.

Nice Castle Hotel. Nice interior. The STAF is very good. The meal in the castle is not very generous for the price but good breakfast very well on the other hand.

Fantastic 2 night stay before we went on the Isle of skye stopped at this wonderful location arrived at 1 in the morning with wife and daughter and met a guy from Liverpool who had us crying with laughter he's some guy he reminded my wife of Manuel from faulty towers he served us breakfast in morning dinner in evening I said to him are you nearly finished he said no I'm the night porter and he was… so pleasant and polite and so funny can't wait for hogmanay if you read this Mr night porter me my wife and daughter want to say thank you I left you a note with my name at reception so you can get me on Facebook thanks again.

The staff are really nice but the place is old and spooky and it's made worse when you research what happened here when it was St Ninian's school in the 1950s.

Spent a night here whilst attending a wedding in Aberfoyle, it was perfect and very grand inside.

Lovely walm welcome from the gentleman at reception whereby we walked in. The outside looks a bit tired, but the inside is spotless and warm. Given a lovely room at the back with lovely views across the glen.

I love this place. It's got a nice location, good food, walks to nearby village and other location.

Nice views. From bedroom windows. Could do with a lick of paint bathrooms could do with a refresh. Family room very big.

Just back from a night stay in this wonderful old house hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly … room was fab (refurbished — 211) the views are wow! … had a lovely supper and a fantastic big hearty scottish breakfast. Drinkers,, take your own as the bar shuts early… all round 10/10. Will be back… ty… very peaceful and quite. Not for any one that wants entertainment … none profit. All money goes back into refurbish of the hotel…

Lovely old building with tons of character. Staff very friendly and helpful especially the Italian receptionist. She was superb. Rooms comfortable. Meals excellent.

We visited for a church youth weekend, and it was great. Good food, nice accommodation, great staff.

Peace and Quiet. Lovely surrounding Excellent Staff. This is a away from it all experience No TVS anyway,. Restaurant good and Reception staff Fab. Good and easy to get too. Abit of a distance for a bar though as they only have a small bar on the premises not welll stocked.
