Was here a few weekends ago couldn’t fault it the place was beautiful and the service was amazing, the food is unbelievable, the pakora nachos was the show stopper for me, definitely recommend and am already planing my next visit, the staff couldn’t do enough for you totally amazing ❤️

I would say try the food great place to eat. Not to stay bed old and very uncomfortable room very small to hot. And u can hear everything that goes on in next rooms walls way to thin. Did not have good night sleep but food and staff were lovely can't fault that at all.

Would recommend it for food. We visited Friday 22nd July and the ambience, staff and food were all excellent. We had the enchiladas followed by raspberry/chocolate cheesecake all very well presented and tasted lovely. We will be back. Forgot to take a pic of the lovely dessert.

Had an amazing meal last night for a family birthday meal…every course was perfect, no issues, efficient servers who were checking in without being intrusive. The coachman is always clean and is tastefully decorated, with a lovely atmosphere, and with welcoming staff. The portions were generous enough for us to taste and try out the various choices our party ordered. The food was excellent and well presented, and everyone left happy and raving about their meal as always. Would always recommend the coachman for excellent food and a great venue for drinks, lunches and the fab deals regularly on offer.

Amazing food and great value for money. Staff were so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Visited the Coachman today with my Dad and Hubby. The service was first class, the menu had so much choice and was brilliant value for money. The food was amazing. I would thoroughly recommend giving it a try.

Visited with my family over the weekend, the restaurant was really busy. Service was superb from the second we walked in. I was a little apprehensive as there wasn’t many vegan options but the vegan burger was superb! Probably one of the best I’ve had. Can’t wait to come back.

Had a family meal here the other night and it was fantastic! From the friendly staff to the food and the extensive kiddies menu ☺️ will defo be back soon ☺️

Ordered Christmas Dinner to take home, it was absolutely delicious and totally stress free 25min in the oven and only had to wash our plates as all the containers it came in went in the bin, food was plenty and there were left overs, also good value for money as you got a bottle of wine and a £10 off voucher.

Went in for lunch today, food was great, service was great. Very impressed with the high standard of care and attention during these strange times. All staff wearing masks, temperature taken when entered and sanitiser throughout! A great experience. I work in a bar restaurant and I understand the extra workload. Well done to everyone.

Enjoyed a fabulas breakfast ; the pancake stack was delicious. The service was great and the surrounding very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Will be back soon.

Another lovely meal, my husband and I ordered from Sunday special meal. Ordered the “lentil soup” to start but was served potato and leek, no problem as it was delicious. Roast beef was lovely, my son had mac and cheese which was top notch. Special mention to the young gentlemen who seated us to our table (unfortunately didn’t get his name) he was our server two weeks ago, very professional and friendly. Last but by no means least our server Iona was so friendly and cheerful definitely made our visit. Will definitely be back. Think we were table 45 x.

We tried the new breakfast menu and we absolutely loved it, food was amazing and great service, unlimited tea or coffee for only £1.50 and there scones were so good best I've tasted in years. I would definitely recommend.

They adapted the menu to suit us. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. Very impressed.

Would like to thank the staff for all their hard work at my son's 18th on Sat night. It was so well organised, lovley food and the stewards were great with the kids aswell as the DJ, her music suited young and old, my son had a brilliant night, thank you x.

Nice meal. Would prefer the Katsu chicken curry with rice rather than noodles. The haggis and black pudding bon bons were superb and dessert was lovely.

The room was dated and shower very small, but for 1 night was fine. The restaurant food is 5 star. Had fantastic meal.

We had room No 10. This is located at the back and was very noisy due to the exhaust air system of the kitchen. It went out sometime after 10 p. M. Next start in the morning between 6:30 a. M. And 7 a. M. The slatted slat in the bed was repaired with boards. Otherwise the restaurant is great! The room was very clean, but also very small. Wallpapers, however, are already dissolving from the wall.

Well above average pub grub here, and an affordable food stop. Good menu selection, and the food is perfectly cooked to order. A recommended place for meals and snacks. Open all day too, so convenient for travellers.

The meals were great served on time and the hole table all had there meals at the one time verve fishnet drinks were olso served as soon as thy could three stars two the staff.

It’s Sunday morning… 12.10am… music pumping downstairs from 2 different discos in the hotel. My 7 yr old is wide awake and struggling to go to sleep for the noise. Floorboards in our room are shaking with the bass from the 2 discos! Have been down twice to ask the staff to turn music down. If anything, it’s just got even louder. Response from staff goes a bit like this ‘well, we have an in house disco every Friday and Saturday night’. No apologies, no attempt to resolve the issue in any way… just a blank nodding face staring back at me. So there you go. If you want to get a decent nights sleep in a hotel, this ain’t the place to be. On the other hand, if you like lying in bed until 1am listening to a mixture of 70s music from one disco and cheesy pop from the second, then I can’t think of a better place in Glasgow for you.

Brilliant new year party, great atmosphere and the food was fantastic.

Nice hotel restaurant and bar staff lovely nut reception staff often missing and hard to find someone if needed any help and no welcome details in room. Struggled to get TV working as was asking for password but figured it out on my own eventually. Room clean but shower was a dribble only. No wi fi or hairdryer which was a shame.

Was here yesterday with my brother with special needs. He ordered the steak pie after a few bites he started to choke none of the staff had a clue in what to do. He was in the bathroom trying to get it up when I heard a member of staff tell another they need to get him out of here. They also charged us for the food and we bearly even touched and made us wait for change while the man was laughing and joking with another member of staff all while my brother was struggling to breath. I will never step foot in there doors again. It was just disgusting behavior.

Would like to thank all the staff for there time and service we were let down due to the bad weather for my party my daughter and good friends managed to get a table for 26 at the last minute you guys ate all amazing food is excellent love it and will be back.

Much improved since new menu came out. Plenty of parking and disabled access.

Never had a bad experience or meal from here. Food is really good value, tasty and massive portions. Only didn't get 5 stars due to staff being a bit light at breakfast and sometimes tables at windows are a bit grubby.

Staff are very attentive. Food in general is lovely — decent sized portions.

Extensive menu with wide choice of dishes for starters and main courses. Didn't get as far as the dessert menu so couldn't say how good it was. Had the king scallops with black pudding starter with horseradish dip and it was lovely. Followed that with the South Indian garlic chilli chicken with rice, chips and nan bread. Didn't hear a bad word said about the food out of a party of over 20.

Food here has improved ten fold. Used to come here for lunch often and it was average… moved from area and returned years later and the place has all been renovated and the menu revamped it’s now outstanding. Definitely worth a visit. Had Christmas dinner there the last two years and love it …

My local hotel for drinking and dining. Has recently undergone a facelift of its reception area. Good food range and quality, usually well prepared. Can be quite busy at peak eating periods. Prices are what you'd expect.

The hotel room was cold and the water was only slightly warm. There was a party going on in the function room and there was a lot of fighting and shouting under our window. The restaurant was very nice and the at affordable were all very nice and helpful.

Love going there. Food is fabulous and enormous choice. Staff have improved amazingly over the past few years. Comfortable seating suitable for intimate eating or large parties.

Disappointing experience. Food arrived with a hair in it. Staff took meal and replaced it but I was left eating on my own for 15 mins. Also had dirty glass with lipstick on it. Staff transferred drink to another glass! These things can happen but it could have been dealt with a lot better. Not even a reduction in the final bill. Not very impressed.

Went here yesterday and the food was good. Ordered the bbq burger. Only thing I'd maybe recommend putting a kids drink on with the kids meal. The kids drink was quite expensive for what she had.

The staff are pleasant and the service is good but more importantly the food is wonderful. I always have a steak cooked to my liking and have never been disappointed, it comes with a grilled tomato, mushroom, onion rings and chunky chips. Others in my party have also raved about the fish n' chips as well as the steak pie with either chips or mash. Prices are decent and also offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Definitely recommend this place. So on last few visits it now seems they no longer serve chunky chips. Personally I find this disappointing. Although the fries are nice, I loved the chunky chips with my steak. Overall this is still a great restraunt that I recommend.

Awful, there was a function on, which is fair enough it went on until 1.30. The bouncers had no control. I waited 45 minutes for breakfast. It arrived cold along with cold toast. I asked for tea I got coffee. When I pointed this out he got me a tea cup poured it in. Handed it to me no saucer. He actually tutted when I asked for one. Stick to being a pub. They are unable to do both. The receptionist when I checked in was fab.

Great event, super helpful friendly staff, did serve 5 stars. Well done. Makeover fab as well. Bright welcoming entrance hall.

Went for a christening after party. Decent selection of beers. The buffet was excellent. A wide range of food and all as good as I'd expect at a surprise down restaurant. Very pleasant staff and decor.

I took my family out for dinner the other night to the coachman hotel it was brilliant the staff were extremely nice, kind and very professional the food was exceptional and the portion sizes were fantastic loved every minute of it food was lovely had a great experience would definately recommend to anyone.

Foods great even when busy they will always try to accommodate. You staff are very efficient. And friendly. Good. All round place.

Food was good, but having been before and the waiter forgetting to put our order through and leaving us sitting for an hour, I thought that the service would have improved, although I was mistaken. Not even a smile or a hello from the majority of staff, with the exception of two (an older lady and man who seemed to be in charge). But the food came and was enjoyable. Afterwards though sitting for over 10 minutes with empty plates in front of us trying to catch the attention of staff wasn't impressive and the staff need some training on customer service.

Went there for lunch — starters was nice, mains were OK (wouldn't recommend the steak pie though), staff were nice and chatty. Deserts looked really good but didn't try them. Reasonably priced but think we'll try somewhere else next time if we're back in the area.

Receptionist attitude has a lot to be desired, after booking and being told about it being £20 cheaper online and looking online to find it £10 cheaper I was told over the phone "that's fine we will discount the £20 when you arrive" then on arrival the receptionist on at that point who was unaware made zero effort to verify with other staff and demanded the full £75 other than this particular staff member the other staff where great and very hospitable it was just a shame to have such a conflict on arrival which ruined the stay, after spending almost two decades in hospitality myself I was absolutely shocked at this attitude and being made out to be a liar over the sake of a few pounds.

Price for the room was quite good but we booked at the last minute so that's probably why. Was very very noisy downstairs up until 1am, could not sleep until then. I booked a double room but the room we ended up with was a twin room. We arrived late and there was no staff to enquire about this.

Chose from the two/three course menu deal. Had macaroni fritters? And then the cheeseburger. On this occassion the food was lovely and the service was perfect.

Good restaurant with good food, the rooms are fine to stay in for a night, the only real downside is that the attached campsite bar always plays music so loud it distorts and you can't hear yourself think.

Great food. Not the prettiest hotel, but nice rooms and staff. Weekend is busy with locals. No problems though.

I wish I would have read the review before booking. After waiting for 40 minutes to be seated, 7 of us put in the " bar " area surrounded by very loud drinkers. The language was terrible. Staff can't cope as place was too busy. Food ok. Don't ask for cocktails as they do not resemble any cocktails we have ever had anywhere else. When we complained were told " tough " that is what we ordered! I feel they are letting the Lunatics take over the asylum and forgetting about the quality and service of the restaurant. The food was ok once it arrived. 45 minutes for starters and a further 30 minutes for mains. Won't be back. Tony, the manager, offered me 25% discount off the bill. I pleaded with him that I would rather pay in full, and that he barred me for life. Not a good sign that they need two bouncers on the door? Maybe this speaks volumes. Best advice would be to avoid on a Friday night.

I have used this hotel for food and functions many times over the years, overall the food and facilities have been of a high standard however on more recent visits both the quality of the food and the service has been poor. When its quiet theres no problem but on a busy night they seem to struggle. Some work is required to bring the coachman back up to where it should be.

This hotel is rated as a 3 star aa approved, I have spoken to the AA AND THIS HOTEL WAS NOT REGISTERED WITH THEM, SINCE 2009. And are currently on the ongoing to remove these stars of the badge that this hotel displays. Would not recommend staying here as a paying guest, the local yobo, s get better service.

Great food, great value. Nacho starter is a good size, good enough to share. Drink is reasonably piced too.
