Great hotel awesome food after a long journey.

The best hotel we've been to in Scotland. Absolutely to try the restaurant! Delicious and refined dishes. Competent and kind staff.

The staff was very nice and showed me to my room, which is nice because the place is a maze otherwise. It had a nice size car park in the back which was easy to get in and out of. The bed was not comfortable at all. You could feel all of the individual springs. The hotel seemed stuck back in the 80's. We did not eat there, but rather walked to the nearby Co-Op and brought food back (in an effort to save some money).

Staff OK. Not value for money bed not comfortable. Very expensive for what we got. Was clean and tidy but very tired. Some local accents would help as well.

Quaint bespoke hotel. Comfortable and good value for dinner bed and breakfast. Staff were lovely. Don't expect shiny and new though.

The rooms need some updating but very comfortable. The food is good but not a huge choice.

Don't go here. Terrible staff. The barman was constantly smoking instead of doing his job. He wasn't washing his hands either even after munching a bag of crisps for about half an hour whilst ignoring customers wanting a drink because he was too engrossed with watching football on the telly. Not made to feel very welcome. The place is very run down and actually falling apart. I got hit by a wooden pillar which fell from the pool area. The place has a pool table but not very good cues or any chalk. Only decent thing there is their Wi-Fi.

Straightforward evening. Bar was decent. Beer was cold. Football was on.

It was a very small hotel. Nice staff.

Very poor, went for dinner in the bar which was too busy, so were directed into the restaurant. Asked if it was the same menu and told it was, however they had added two pounds onto the price of each dish. Exact same menu, just a blatant tourist con.

Just had a very short night at the Kyle Hotel. Although our room is nicely decorated, it is not at all practical. The hotel is very old, so the walls and doors are very thin and poorly isolated. We can here everything happening in neighbor rooms and in the hall. Even at night the rooms are very bright as light comes in from street lanterns through the very thin curtains, as well as throug the door crack. The shower curtain is mouldy.

Good staff. Breakfast was fine too. No problems with the room.

Food is good. Lighting in rooms is excellent (for doing makeup and hair). Staff very friendly. HOWEVER — Overall the place is very shabby and looks like it has not had much attention.

Staff was very friendly and accommodation was clean and comfortable. Wifi only available in public/communal areas like the bar. Some of the rooms are located in the back of the building where you have to go through an event hall to get to. While I was there a party was going in the hall and the only way for me to get to my room from the street was to go around the building and enter through the back. I had to do the reverse to get to the lobby of the hotel and to the bar where there's Wi-Fi. Don't think the quality was worth the price paid, but this area is a pretty popular tourist destination and you take what you can get. The fact a hot breakfast is included is nice.

Nice little rooms. Loud if by the exit to the car park. Freshly cooked breakfast and buffet continental breakfast. Good location right on the waterfront.

Pleasant small hotel in lovely kyle. Rooms are fairly small, but normal for the area. Wi-Fi only in common areas downstairs. Incredibly friendly staff and conveniently located in the middle of town. Good choice as a hotel, and good restaurant.

Easy to find with clean rooms and great customer service.

The bedroom was ok, but the bathroom was terrible. All the floor tiles were loose.

Got a bargain at £55 for the night including breakfast. Very happy. Everything fine except for broken floor tiles in the bathroom. No view from window but you can't have it all.

We stayed there for one night (10th to 11th. October). Very high price (75 GBP) for very awful rooms. Room 31 was old and rotten and smelly, so we changed to room 19. This room was ok, but still old: — Mold in the Bathroom. — Paperthin walls so we could hear anything from anyone around. — Old tube TV with only a few operating channels in very bad quality. — One light was broken- — the knob of the wardrobe missing — very old and uncomfortable mattress Booked via booking (dot) com — where neither description nor pictures do match the truth. In my opinion on the very edge of fraud. The staff was nice anyway.

Basic but clean and good value. Great breakfast. Bar food not so good.
