I booked the Savoy 2 and a half years ago for my Wedding and I have got to say I was impressed by the staff and setting from the outset. I have had several meals in the Savoy over the 2 and a half years and each one has been fantastic, great portion size and amazing quality! My Wedding was yesterday (5/5/12) and I must say the Savoy made an already memorable day perfect. The staff were happy to help with any queries or problems we had, although there were no problems. I had 2 vegetarians, a Coeliac and a lactose intolerant guest and these guests were catered for superbly! There was no issue with special ingredients being provided. The setting is lovely and it blew away my Best Man who is getting married in an 18th Century house in Inverness next year so its safe to say it looks beautiful. My Uncle (Godfather) is a professional Chef and has worked for independent Hotels and restaurants. He has been head Chef and a Kitchen designer when he worked in the Hilton in Aviemore and he said he couldn't fault the meal so that speaks itself for the quality of the food! The Service was outstanding, quick and beyond the call of duty! My brother in law bought my father in law a pint of Cafferys. My brother in law had just set the glass down when a member of staff walked straight up and stated they weren't happy with the pour of the beer and immediately went and replaced it! That's service! I drink Guinness and I had Irish guests who complemented the pints of Guinness, they were well poured and just the right temperature. All in all my experience at the Savoy Park Hotel was outstanding, the staff helped us all and even the most trivial thing was fixed. Even things the hotel need not have dealt with, a bridesmaids dress strap snapped and reception staff sewed it up in an instant! My wedding venue, food, service and Price (god its cheap for what you get, I'd happily have paid more for all the reasons listed above! ) were fantastic. If you choose the Savoy for your Wedding, for a meal, or for a weekend/midweek break you're in for a treat.
