Food menu is either chips with anything or unappealing salads. Noisy pubs attached and obviously a sports bar constantly playing football. There are other sports! Starbucks only open limited times and rooms very basic and somewhat expensive.

Great hotel and great food would definitely recommend.

Literally the worst hotel to contact. Poor experience and a poorer resolution as can’t contact anyone who seems to want to help.

What a fantastic gym and leisure facilities — they welcomed a group of crazies for a charity spin session and nothing was too much trouble… what a fabulous place x.

I would not recommend the £45 Christmas entertainment night. The 3 course meal was horrendous the starter we had wasn’t even advertised on the menu; the meal tuned up 2 hours late and it was cold: Bar service was terrible you could only pay on card and this was continuously down so you had to wait even longer to get severed. Was advised there would be live entertainment and then a DJ, there was only a DJ on, no live entertainment. Would definitely not recommend coming here for a Christmas do.

Not a lot of choice of food and drinks prices extortionate … if it wasn't for the fact we have another voucher to use wouldn't be visiting yhis place again.

Been visiting the gym and all other facilities for five years now. I must also mention the staff. They're great.

Arrived after paying and turned away due to not having a letter about my stay. Yet doesn't state on website any requirement to provide proof of reason for visit. My company recommended this hotel. Previously to an average of 15 people per mo th for stay whilst on our training courses. We would the doing g so any more.

Absolutely A Poor Club I joined as a member they have had the cheek to keep taking money from my account while the gym has been shut down asked why they have been doing this when money usually comes out at set dates there answer was we have been taking money out weeks earlier than usual because of this and that no you been taking out early cause you knew there was going to be a lockdown the cheek of it and then you still took money in January too when clearly the gym was shut since December and now they refuse to refund my money which they been happily taking since last year even when they have been shut saying we will credit your membership this year no you won’t cause I don’t want to be with your gym no longer as you have been stealing money from my account so I have stopped my direct debits going out now being told I got to email you to cancel my membership I don’t think so I’ve told over the phone please people check your accounts and don’t t be getting ripped off by these clowns at the village hotel as well bloody joke right on top of a pandemic going on these clowns think it’s ok to keep charging people while there actually shut wow be careful from the village then they don’t want to answer there calls the only way I got physically through was by pressing to join as a new member enquiry lol they answered strait away but anything else the phone keeps ringing with no one answering to take your money they answer on the second ring so quickly the woman on the other end of

Lovely clean room, easy check in nice hot powerful shower good location ample parking space.

Quite dissapointed to be honest. Resteraunt was virtually empty but some of the tables still had glass rings & bits of food on them so clearly not been cleaned. It took 90 mins from me sitting down to finishing my pudding. I don't get why it took so long. It's not like it was busy.

I am writing to complain about the terrible evening I had in your restaurant we had a table booked for 3 on the 14th October @ 5.30. We had dined at the same restaurant last month and had a great experience thoroughly enjoyed the food and staff were very pleasant. We had reserved a table for 5.30 really looking forward to our meal when we arrived, the service was very slow, and we had to wait 10 minutes before we could order. Our server was Sandra, we decided to go for the burger option as we enjoyed them last time, I asked Sandra what meat was in the stack jack burger to which she replied beef, I then asked could it be possible that I can have chicken instead of beef as I don't eat beef due to religious reasons, after checking with her colleague she said yes that's fine. We placed our order as follows:
· 2 x peri chicken burger one with sweet potato fries other with normal fries
· 1 x stack jack burger with chicken
We didn't have a receipt nor was one offered we didn't ask for one either.
When the food arrived we noticed the fries were mixed up mentioned this to our server Sandra to which she replied 'what would you like me to do' I said don't worry we will change them over as we were quite hungry by this time. Asked for some condiments chatting away and tucked into our food. I took one bite from my burger and to my horror realised it wasn't chicken.

Friendly staff. Lovely food.

Nicely decorated rooms, felt very comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful which is always something I'm looking for. All the soaps smelt amazing! I will definitely stay there again if I had the chance.

The bedding is very comfortable, the hotel is quiet at night, enough to sleep well.

Restaurant and breakfast at the top.
Pool, gym and sauna brings a real plus to this property.
Prefer for professional stays but not that.

I'm sure the restaurant will be fab when its refurbished. The staff in Starbucks are lovely and it's still a comfortable atmosphere even with the work going on. It's clean and welcoming. Second visit for work purposes. Really like it.

I like this chain stayed in Warrington one last year also. Pretty stylish hotels with coffee concession in lobby. Main pull is health spa. Jacuzzi, large swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Restaurant, late bar, Good function room with good facilities for event coordinators like me.

We use the hotel for our work Christmas party plus various work functions and meetings. It's a decent venue and the food is alright. It's generally all served in a relatively good time and won't break the bank. The bar staff are helpful and efficient with the drinks. The entertainment, like the singer that sung on the Christmas evening, was a little (very) cheesy so we went to another bar for a while to save our ear drums. It is a good venue that can be relied on for great hospitality.

Was bought here by a friend. Very nice! Comfortable bed and immaculate room. Plenty of parking. Warm friendly welcome on arrival. Professional staff. Highly recommend.

Decent hotel for a nights stay. Had a twin room but only 1 towel, had to wait a considerable amount of time to get additional ones. Breakfast was ok. Giving 4 stars due to the excellent bar / restaurant staff — great service, and great selection of food and beverages.

Cosy rooms, modern retro decor looks high spec. Rooms appear to be super clean — almost new looking — and stay warm with the window slightly open, even though it’s cold out side. The team are all super friendly; Fiona the night manager offered to help me attain some drinking water late at night, spotting me walking up to my room with tap water Fiona kindly offered to bring me a bottle to my room. Her effort and care is such a nice energy to encounter when staying away from home.

This hotel is outstanding, had an birthday party here on Easter Monday and it is still being talked about by the guests. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the workers were very attentive and helpful. This is a beautiful memory I will cherish. God bless this hotel, the management and staff.

Good quality hotel, value for money, clean, has Starbucks, gym, spa swimming pool — very clean, — club room has espresso machine — needs a bit more variety if I'm honest. Overall good quality and would stay again.

Attended a wedding fayre here. The welcome was lovely, a free glass of bubbly and friendly staff. The fayre itself was poor, only a few people there and mostly photographers. It could of been the weather as it had snowed. Maybe the next fayre will be better.

Review of gym and pool: I stopped in to use the hotel's health club (I have a Pay As You Gym pass. ) I was very impressed with the facilities. The locker room is spacious and clean. Good, clean showers, too. Towels are available for £2 or you can bring your own. The gym is well equipped for weight lifting. Olympic plates and a squat cage, plenty of machines, and good range of dumbbells. Plenty of quality cardio machines. The pool is large and warm. Very nice sauna, steam and hot tub. I also stopped by the Starbucks for a coffee on the way out. Very nice.

Not a bad hotel & decent for what Walsall has to offer. Gym is great & well as the swimming pool. The downside has to be the food. The food is an ok standard be it from the bar Menu or from the restaurant. Food also takes a long time to come, longest I've had to wait was 1hour & this was on a quiet night.

Great value, and really nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Bar is not 24 hour, and there are no spare pillows by default, but otherwise pretty much perfect. Online check in app allows you to check in and out without fuss, and no need for room keys if you have the phone app, as you can open the door with your phone. 11am checkout.

Very convenient to meet up with colleagues and comfortable seating. Food however is awful and a rip-off. £9 for the most limp sorry looking and tasteless cheeseburger and £3.75 for a pint of diet Coke…

The location of the hotel was perfect for us as we had a short stay. The room was clean and bathroom was nice. Situated in room 306 with a large TV set. Unfortunately we were over charged and it took some convincing to acquire our refund.

Too bad for the automated reception… if you need anything, leave a message.

The staff on reception are helpful and professional. Bar prices are what you'd expect from a hotel and the food although not cheap, was good. The rooms are a good size, clean and tidy with a decent TV too. I found the beds hard but my family liked them Breakfast is the usual bacon, eggs etc but my kids were disappointed that there were no hash browns. :-) The staff very kindly found marmite and Nutella for my daughter too. Would definitely stay with this chain again.

Very "business" hotel. A bit too corporate for my taste. Lacks the friendly touch. The food was good but the service was " eventually" went on new years eve. Needed a lot more staff for food service. 13 tables and by the time the last one received their main course the tables served first where on the deserts. The room was clean but the whole place needs a refurb. Just felt unloved.

Staff were nice. Hotel was clean and the rooms were nice, we had sky and a coffee machine. The food was not very good tho.

Good hotel. Clean. Good standard of room. Good facilities. Easy to get to just off J10 of the M6. Staff very good and helpful.

The service was really good from both the guys on reception who really wanted our stay to go well. Unfortunately due to party the first night it was really noisy until about 2am. We were reasure that the room the offered us for our second night would be quieter which it was but we could still hear the bass through the floor. The guy on reception included breakfast for us as a sort of make up which was nice. However we were questioned about this by breakfast staff who weren't so polite and who wouldn't serve us until they had checked it out even though it was written on our key jacket. I would certainly stay again but would make sure I was on top floor away from party area.

Great night with thrilling entertainment. Food was well selected and portions were good. Entertainment for the evening was good as it was a through the decades night. Good security on the door doing a bag check as we went in. Drinks were highly priced which let the evening down slightly.

Fast service and very good food a very reasonable prices. The bar is spacious and there are huge screens showing Sky Sports. A generally relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely hotel, pool facilities are great (free for hotel guests), tasty food for dinner and breakfast. Always come here with a conference group and they keep us well stocked with refreshments and the meeting rooms are nice.

This is the second Village Hotel I have stayed at, and like the first I have been more than happy with my stay. Stylish, spacious, well equipped rooms. Slight security issue where a drunk man not staying at the hotel banging on doors. Great place. Will stay again.

Nice clean hotel in Walsall with good parking.
Clean and recommended.

A full facilited hotel with meeting rooms, a bar, menu'd food, a Starbucks, a full gym with spin classes and other classes. Plenty of parking and a KFC is just on the edge of the carpark. A great place to meet people and hold business meetings at an accessible place and free Wi-Fi in the reception area.

Had the fish and chips which was quite nice. A colleague order the chicken salad and was very disappointed that this made up almost entirely of lettuce so had to send it back. We ventured into Walsall on our second night in the area.

Rooms were comfortable. Food a bit overpriced but good. All in all a good night's stay.

Good hotel with pub, grill (with very generous portions and decent desserts), gym and a Starbucks inside. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean.

Village hotels are always nice, in my experience, and this one was no exception. The room was comfortable with a premium feel for a less-than-premium price (via laterooms). The restaurant was very nice, with great food and friendly service. Oh, and the free Wi-Fi actually worked! This is unusual in hotels. I'll be keeping my eye open for me Village hotels on my business travels!

Didn't have my room that was booked I was given a different type of room. Noisey vent in the bathroom all night long. Average hotel to. Be honest.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff who quickly dealt with our enquiries. Spacious bar with a a variety of seating and numerous TV screens. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and served quickly. We had a spacious bedrooms which was very comfortable for an overnight stay.

Managed to get a special priced offer which made for a very attractive night away. Excellent gym and pool. I was expecting a mediocre cooked breakfast but was pleasantly surprised at the value for money and choices on offer.

The gym facilities were very nice. The area was clean and tidy we a good selection of machines and equipment.

Good coffee. Free Wi-Fi. Perfect to catch up on a bit of work en route.

Decent hotel. Nice and quiet, but not too far to get into Birmingham via taxi (approx £18). Breakfast was good, especially on my hangover. Would recommend.

I have only ever been to the Dudley village resort, I've got to say the Walsall one is wayyy better (cleaner, better breakfast, everything around the hotel that you need, better standard of decoration in the rooms, swimming pool, sauna and steam room cleaner etc…) the only down fall I would say is that there were a few unhelpful staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Village Walsall is one of those places that you wouldn't think of straight away as an entertainment venue or wedding reception venue, but you'd be wrong not to consider it. Working with our friends from Ultimate, we've provided the disco to support so many events over the years; from weddings through corporate events and themed party nights. Partypicz photo booth hire are also recommended by the Village for our photo booth hire and event photography.

Mixed grill was probably the worst meal I have eaten.

Had a mixed grill in the victory and can honestly say I have been put off mixed grills for life. Steak was all grissle as was the lamb chop. Liver was like rubber. Egg was solid. Chips were thin and unappealing and the onion rings were so thin I had to hunt for them. If I hadn't paid upfront I would have witheld payment. I didn't send it back cos I was afraid I may get some added extras. In their hype V. Poor.

Clean and lively hotel with a mix of family's, couples and business travellers. A free large car park out front and easy access to jcn 10 M6. Friendly staff and service. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfy but rooms an be small in comparison to the Hilton group. I didn't find this a problem but family's may. With a large pool and gym on the ground floor and free wife internet connection, all inclusive of the price. Breakfast ain't goin to win any prizes but its ok, but don't choose the coffee, tasted like it had been filtered some hours previous. Would I return, Yes.

Had a staff party there the other day and was ok untill they started to ask for the room card for the bar and everyone left them upstairs so no one said we had to show them later on un the night then just got a load of abuse of some of the staff while the security officer watched and did nothing to control the situation nit recommend to anyone.

Can be expensive, be is worth it.
