Fuss free and centrally located, easy access to restaurants. Huge Asda near by if feeling anti-social or by yourself and don't want to eat alone in restaurants. Am a regular!

Myself & my husband were guest at Solihull from 27th-29th July, on our first night we were both significantly bitten by what Assumed were bed bugs. The receptionist was very apologetic and was as horrified as we were and promptly moved us. We were both in so much discomfort we had to drive around and look for a pharmacy that was open on Saturday night to purchase some antihistamines, I find this situation totally unacceptable and do not expect to have this happen to us. We both had no bites prior to our stay and they only came up on Saturday morning, I contacted Neil at head office yesterday as the manager at the hotel failed to make contact and he sent pest control out who reassured him there were no bedbugs, as we were informed Saturday that due to windows been open in the hot weather all sorts of bugs had been into the rooms and this is out of their control, this still doesn’t make up for the unpleasant and uncomfortable stay we both had and we are still treating our bites I know we’ve been offered a 50% refund but we will definitely not be returning to Redwings Solihull due to this experience, The only positive I have is Joy the receptionist she excels in her role and was most helpful and professional I can not fault her at all.

Very clean. Joy in reception was very friendly and helpful. Adjacent pub handy for evening meal. 1 minor issue in room (but as in many places) TV located too high up. The only other issue was that if staying here for business reasons breakfast doesn't start until 9am Mon-Fri — too late if off to a meeting etc. (Yet served 8am Sat-Sun…)
