Stayed here as a family of 3, couldn’t fault the place. Fantastic staff, all very friendly & most helpful. Family room was great, the place is spotless & the breakfast was amazing!
Within walking distance to great pubs & restaurants & plenty to do for our little girl.
Will definitely recommend to friends & family & hopefully return again soon. Thank you.

Exceptional experience.
A colleague and I stayed at York Hotel during a recent business trip. Due to the nature of our careers, we visit many different locations around the UK on a regular basis.
York Hotel has to have been the most exceptional, all round pleasurable experience of the last few years. From the moment we entered the Hotel to the moment we left, we couldn't have found a single negative aspect to the whole experience.
The concierge a +5 star gentleman, was nothing more than a real treasure to the establishment. The premises were immaculate and had some wonderful personal touches amongst the decor.
For a mid week visit, it left us with a Friday feeling.

Classy b&b only hotel, beautiful large rooms with fridge and microwave. Clean, very friendly service, superb breakfast. We’ve stayed here a number of times over the years and seen how it has developed. Delighted to be able stay one more time.

Amazing hotel stayed here for 8 weeks and the management and staff couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating, only a few minutes from the front and great breakfast.

On arrival our Welcome was excellent, asked what we would like to do first, we were given all the details of what and where everything is, introduced to the lounge with a drink and snacks available, helped by taking our luggage to the room, signed in and left to get comfortable.
Nothing was to much trouble, really nice to have such a nice place to stay, two nights and breakfasts came n went without a hiccup, we would truly recommend The York House Hotel and look forward to a return in the not distant future, thank you so much.

I'm writing this for my cousin Jo. I recently stayed in the york house hotel and it was delightful, one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It was not just great value for money it was a touch of luxury. The room was perfect, the staff friendly and as far as the owner nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic in both the choice & the quality. I would highly recommend this hotel and I shall be returning next year. Thanks again for my stay Jo.

An absolute gem of a hotel. Very friendly & helpful staff. The rooms are spotless with nice touch of a fridge, microwave & tea & coffee provided. The breakfast is second to none with everything you could possibly wish for provided & all cooked freshly to order. Fully recommended.

The room decour was great but the walls are thin so expect to hear your neighbours.

Stayed here one night for work and I am so impressed. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful! I would definitely stay here again.

A lovely, well presented hotel. I have stopped in a lot of the rooms and all are decorated to a high standard. All the room are ensuite with a small kitchen area. This includes a microwave, which is very handy if away for work and you don't want to eat out alone. Breakfast is always lovely and promptly made. All the staff and particularly Michael, are great, they couldn't be more helpful. I can't recommend stopping here enough, it's my first choice if stopping in the area.

Stayed on business. I would definitely recommend this place. Friendly and swift check in Spacious room that was so clean Wi-Fi was ok, not great but fine for VPN Comfy bed Quiet so got a good sleep Breakfast was really good, hot, fresh and quick Free parking on site.

100% Recommend this hotel. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Exceptionally clean large bedrooms. The owners have thought about everything to make your stay enjoyable.
