Stayed hear for 1 night for hen party place was clean ppl were really friendly and helpful couldn’t ask for a better place to stay defo come bk hear again.

Stayed here on Saturday the 28th was on a stag with few m8s and cousins some of the review on here slag it off which are totally unjustified. The place was great according to me yes it’s not a top place but you get what you pay for a bed for the night me and my cousin spent all Saturday speaking to Alistair the lad that works reception at night and couldn’t fault him at all was nice to meet another Scotsman’s living in the north east like me think we spoke to him all night until the Sunday morning sharing stories and cracking jokes while greeting everyone else that came back to the hotel end of the day you get what you pay for if you want fancy & quiet don’t come here but I thought the place was great to be honest but I’m not all that fussy.

Very clean, noisy and in a bad area.

Great place for groups and it is always a friendly place to stay. Only 1 mile from city centre.

If you want a place to crash after a night out and don't care about good service then come here. Rooms were cold bed was squeaky. Only had one pillow each. No glasses/kettle for drinks. Stayed up for several hours due to the couple opposite arguing on and off. However, if we had stayed out for longer we no doubt wouldn't have heard anything.

Suitable for young partygoers stag dos etc. Not suitable for a quiet stay. All night partying, loud music, bad language.

Cheap nights kip, but out bathroom leaked violently from the cieling.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Location was a little our of the center of Newcastle but was only a cheap taxi fare. Would stay here again.

Hotel was very basic but clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Mainly for stag and hen dos so a little noisy.

I live directly behind this hotel. Every Friday and Saturday night it's the same thing, a bunch of people come up to get drunk. I have no problem with this, but once they get back from doing that they sit in the garden screaming at the top of their lungs and doing sing alongs as loud as possible keeping the residents of the surrounding quiet area up all night. Hotel does nothing to stop them. If you want to do that go stay somewhere in town where there's no one to disturb. Would give this place 0 stars if I could and by the loud noises I hear every night I wouldn't stay here if someone paid me. Don't know how anyone can sleep with that racket every weekend.

Good hotel overall. Clean, decent sized rooms. Price comparable with other hotels. Good stay.

Terrible. Cost excessive for what you get. Stayed in twin room but had to share bathroom with two other rooms, no breakfast; worse than basic for the price. Check out time 11:00 am. Paid £10 more for a weekend at a superior hotel, offering twin room en suite bathroom, an abundant breakfast, swimming pool, gym and a later check out plus situated in beautiful wooded grounds and much more. Worst is that your account is debited 1 month in advance without notice. Will never use again. Not recommended.

We used car park space. Cheap and safe. Very good for Match day.

Horrible experience since the arrival. I was treated with contempt. The place was full of young people and not so young that they hit screaming and ran down the halls all night. Without exaggeration, I slept in fear that day.

Rooms are decrepit, poorly maintained and entirely under equipped. Almost everything imaginable is broken, damaged or patched-over. The whole place smells terrible and looks like a crack den. More like a grimey, sinister youth hostel than a hotel. I wouldn't let my dog stay here.

Cheap room but very basic.

This 'hotel' is advertised as lively — but I didn't expect this to include feeling scared or vulnerable! Not to mention fighting, lads throwing each other in to the door of the room we were allocated, arguing, screaming, shouting, endless slamming doors, banging, loud music, no intervention. After 4 hours of this heated arguing and fighting and hammering on our door and people being thrown in to the door and feeling totally vulnerable, we left at 5.30am after zero sleep and forced our way through the chaos. By definition Hostels are generally Self catering Noisy Shared accommodation Offer communal areas Less private Less secure Less formal Basic If I wanted to pay for a hostel, I would have booked at Sleeperdorm — at least there the TV would have worked and a bin would have been provided in the room. I paid £70 for a hotel — the ONLY exception is that you provided a towel and some soap. If I'd have paid hostel prices (£20-£35) for the room I'd not be bothered. Got back key deposit but have lost out on £70 which I travelled s long way for a long awaited night out on the 'infamous toon' for a charity event. Not a good advert for Newcastle at all.

Cold rooms bed falling apart broken rails in bath room it resembled a doss house for an extra £20 you will get far better accomadation in centre which will include a breakfast it was the worst hotel I have stayed in it spoils the entire weekend.

Great hotel for stag and hen party's, 5 minutes into town. Rooms were very nice and modern, owner Andy was very helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend to any groups to stay here. I will definitely be rebooking on my next night out in Newcastle.
