Great place to stay in the Newcastle area, affordable, friendly staff and the food is lovely.

I stayed here recently for the weekend for my birthday, left today. Cleanliness was good. And the room as average, however we booked a room with a double and a single bed and were given a room with three single beds which the middle one — which was my bed and i’m going home with a sore back so thank you bentleys for that! The food was decent tho, I can’t say it was terrible, just a few minor adjustments and the staffs manner as they werent particularly friendly.

Good value for money, about 15/20 minute walk to centre, asda round the corner, parking available Was ideal for the great North run!

You Get What You Pay For. All I needed was a bed, TV, Private Bathroom & Wi-Fi. Was met by a cheerful chap who showed me to my room. Very short on space but clean and tidy. Rather than tea & coffee they have a station with sofas near by. They offer breakfast from 7-9 which is nice. Iron board on offer and a TV room. Take aways near by. Idea for contract workers that need no frills. 15 minutes from the centre of town.

Awful place worst bed I have ever slept in. Two single beds of different hights covered with a cheap matress. Tatty bathroom windows didn’t keep out any of the busy road noise. Didn’t stop our second night booked a proper hotel for that!

Great value. Roon clean, spacious and well equipped. Friendly staff Great location for our visit to St James park.

Place was bigger than it seems it was like a maze! Staff were friendly, rooms were neat and tidy and the facilities we're spot on and the breakfast was decent. The car park was free and it's only a 15 minute walk into the city centre.

Nice clean place to stay, good breakfast wloud stay agin in fact I have stayed a few times now and everytime iam happy with the stay here at Bentleys hotel/B&B.

Stayed here 5 times as I visit from Belfast for the football. It's warm and clean if a little basic and aged but perfectly adequate especially for the money. The Day staff as always are lovely but i've reduced the rating to 3 stars as I can't tolerate the ignorance of the night porter any longer… 4 years and each time I see him he actually gets worse. Never have I met someone as rude and as unhelpful… unfortunately from here on in I'll be staying elsewhere, or at least until they sack this clown as he's really hurting the business.

Lovely full English coffee and toast just they way I like it my friend and I treat ourselves once a week pleasant staff highly recommended.

Best bacon sandwich on the West Road.

Alright place, dining are was a bit small so breakfast was busy. Comfy beds. Not too far from town.

Good location central to newcastle, excellent cheap breakfast.

The staff was friendly. Room was clean and warm. Felt should have provided some shower gel and would be best if in room equipment for teas and coffees were available. Otherwise a very plesant stay and would recommend.
