Spa day… amazing Spa facilities and treatments. The chamber of secrets was a great way to start the day. Had a very Relaxing, pampered day. The staff were very helpful and friendly which just added a real touch of professionalism to the whole experience.

Had a lovely spa day and stay over this weekend. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, rooms were spotless. Afternoon tea was a real treat, and the spa itself was super relaxing. Special thanks to Lauren for my amazing hot stone massage!

My husband and I were here last weekend for our wedding venue. We had a lovely time from the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and made everyone feel welcome.
Any questions we had, all staff were happy to help!
They made the room look lovely for us too 😊
Lovely view from the Vista Suite, we highly recommend for a smaller wedding or event!
We also stayed overnight, rooms were very nice and tidy. We really enjoyed our breakfast here too! Looking forward to going back soon!

Dog friendly but no clear signs across the golf course saying where you are allowed to walk. Apart from that this is a beautiful hotel tucked out of the way in Woodbridge x.

Lovely room overlooking the golf course, booked one of the higher priced rooms and definitely worth the extra.

From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Even under covid restrictions they were pleasant, efficient and helpful. The bed was super comfortable (room 102), the food (breakfast) tasty and the jacuzzi in the spa is possibly the best I've ever been in. It has proper powerful jets that hit you in just the right pressure points to relieve stress and aches. Immaculately clean theoughout. And very dog friendly. Highly recommend this quiet, relaxing oasis just 15 mins from the Suffolk coast and shingle street beach.

Me and the girlfriend went for one night. The staff was really nice to us and the food was really good. The only thing I say was when we went for dinner they don't tell you about the sub added on but over all really happy.

Most of staff were ok room very nice pool was nice had bar food which was very good but had a breakfast in the morning which was very disappointing and definitely wasn't worth the money couldn't have cereal as was all uncovered and had flies on if you want fried eggs they have to be ordered which we wasn't made aware of until had already plated our breakfast.

Loved my weekend at the hotel. Staff absolutely brilliant. Facilities great, for great. Upgraded to a suite on the 3rd floor absolutely lovely.

Stayed here for a hen weekend and the facilities were lovely. We booked a private room for our evening meal which was ideal for playing games etc. Bedrooms were very nice with comfortable beds. Spa is lovely and relaxing though was fairly crowded on the Saturday. The mini golf was a fun addition to the afternoon followed by afternoon tea on the terrace.

Awful hotel and staff. Housekeeping walked in while I was in the bath, bad neck from 1 pillow (most hotels would have spares in the room) and sheets tucked in so tightly that I was injured trying to get this over my body — seemed housekeeping only wanted you covered up to your waist with covers. Most of these issues have been brought up with hotel and they were unsympathetic down to I should of called for more pillows. We only stayed here as my daughter's wedding was close by and it ruined my day this due to sleep deprivation and injury. Both rooms I booked over looked the car park not a great view and the walls were very thin so pray you don't have neighbors. There were no do not disturb signs to be found in the room.

We have stayed several times before without even a hint of disappointment. If you're booking a family room with any third party platform, the hotel's policy is completely different (well, it was on this visit for some reason). Two of the evening meals were on par with a glass of water as far as taste went. Surprising as this is far from previous experiences. The carpets on our floor were covered by a plastic covering, resembling setting out of a murder scene. All of the above could have been passed off as a culmination of unfortunate one off lapses. The response from the hotel was disappointing, trying to dismiss and justify.

Great place to stay for exploring Suffolk, having an active weekend or a nice relaxing one. Also have crazy golf onsite for the non golfers so something for everybody!

Room was nice however pool was shut and access to spa was extra for fairly limited facilities. Breakfast buffet was fine and staff helpful.

My friend and I came for a Twilight Spa last night. There were a lot of complex transactions with vouchers, but the lady on the desk couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We had a fantastic time — very good facilities.

All in all, my friend and I had an enjoyable morning at the spa. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. I've been to this spa a few years ago and it was spotless. However I was left a little disappointed as it now looks as though it is in of a little TLC. The head rests in the large spa pool were loose and would pop off when the bubbles started. Also the chemicals were on the strong side in both Jacuzzis. Made our eyes sting and my skin still has a faint smell of bleach even after two showers. Also the showers in the changing room had no ceiling. You could see up to the pipework/wiring Etc. And the ceiling tiles that were present had mould on them. Also the push button for the water lasted approximately 20 seconds. I lost count of the times I had to press it — made washing my hair a very laborious task. After the spa we went to the bar for lunch. This also looks as though it could do with a makeover as it's looking dated. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and looks amazing — they just need to do the rest of the bar/reception area. On the bright side, the food was lovely and was served promptly.

Enjoyed a game of golf. Very helpful staff. Challenging course.

I went to hit some balls on the range. Was very easy to sort and get the balls. And I was swinging away in minutes.

Rooms were loud. Staff were nice. The hotel was stuck in the 1970s, and DRASTICALLY needs updating. The bar was old fashioned. The outside areas were old fashioned. The rooms are very similar to a travel lodge. The bathroom in our room was newer. I'd never stay there again.

Excellent facilities on site. Our room was too hot, air conditioning would have been nice. Otherwise, the room is spacious and well equipped with a balcony overlooking the golf course. The restaurant is nice, but a little pricey. There is also a spa and health club, but we didn't use these so can't comment on them. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is good.

I'm not a golf player but this hotel has stunning surroundings and made my business stay enjoyable. Definitely recommend it for golf lovers as well, looks like a beautiful course. I've had a go at the driving range and can't say how it compares to others but it's was good enough for me.

We went to the adventure golf park, it was a fun afternoon and quite a laugh. It has 18 holes with a few obstacles in a clean and well presented setting. None of the holes are stupidly difficult so it should suit all ages. We were a group of adults and found it entertaining, it took about 1 and a half hours to get round.

We booked this hotel for an upcoming wedding which unfortunately has been cancelled, myself and partner were making the trip all the way from Australia for it. Just a word of advice, I would recommend NOT booking with the venue directly as even though we no longer will be staying at the hotel, let alone going to be in the country, the venue will not even look at providing us with a refund. If only we'd booked with one of the travel sites we wouldn't be having this issue — third party companies have provided full refunds of the same total to everyone else we know who was attending. Such a shame when you think you're making a better choice in booking directly and a company won't make an exception or have any understanding. Just wanted to share in case anyone was thinking of booking directly.

Good hotel with great countryside views. Lovely spa. Adnams at the bar. Let down by the dodgy false fire alarm which went off on both days of our stay. Once being at 6:30am!

Spent 2 days playing golf all aspects of stay first class.

My wife and I had our wedding and reception here on 9th August 2014 and from start to finish we had an amazing time. The organisation that went in from the day we first visited the venue through all the consultations and the big weekend itself was brilliant. The staff here are superb and nothing was too much to ask for — they really made our special day special. Even visiting the hotel on occasions in the past year the staff are always courteous and friendly, the food is excellent (you have to try the chips! ) The spa is excellent with a range of saunas and steam rooms, relaxation rooms and a great spa pool, in addition to the spa they have various massage treatments, and again, this was brilliant — we had the hot stone massage with facial and foot massage which was so relaxing! Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay and excellent service and food throughout our stay and various visits previously. Highly recommended, for a one night stay, a spa break, or a wedding venue. The golf course also looks very picturesque and seems very popular.

My Granddaughter and I spent four days with you and I'm delighted to say we loved every moment of it. The staff were so helpful and so understanding to my needs as I had just come out of Hospitial. From Reception to the Restaurant staff! to the Cleaning ladies and especially the Spa Staff who took such great care of us. Thank you. I don't usually name just one member of staff but I feel in this case I must. This young lady's name was Lisa from the Spa who really took care of me beyond her duties. Be (I think Management should be Proud of such a great Team). I hope one day to come back and once again Thank you so much.

First of all I travel weekly so I am used to hotel living. This hotel was the worse of this type I have ever stayed in. First night fire alarm went of 3 times 01.00am 04.55am and 06.55am so absolutely no sleep whatsoever. I rang the desk each time being given a different reason for the alarms by staff who appeared that they could not care less. Ordered room service at 08.00am (earliest availability and only cereal and toast available) arrived within 10 mins good service but the coffee was luke warm and the toast was very lightly browned on one side only with the other side plain bread. Room was not very clean they forgot to put a bottle of water in room on arrival. You have to pay for use of room safe. On departure the person in front of me was complaining about the alarms stating this was the second time he had stayed with this happening so obviously not an isolated incident, Another person was complaining about being put in the premier room above a sporting venue held in the function room below her going on very late in the morning, The woman was going to her daughters wedding again the staff could not care less. NOT recommended.
