We had the best time there! Manon and Pierre are so nice and helpful! You can snorkle and do kayak. Also the place is really beautiful, cheap and clean! we felt safe and just like at home! you have to go there!

I loved staying here. This is a 14acre property surrounded by jungle on one side and the ocean and mangroves on the other. There are a vareity of fruit trees around the property that guests are encouraged to take advantage of. Fresh coconuts, papaya, and lemons? Yes please! It is only a 5 minute boat ride to town and often times the owners will take you into town with them. This is the PERFECT place to enjoy the nature of Panama while also having quick access into the party scene of the main town. You wake up listening to the sounds of birds, the ocean is steps away, and the jungle surrounds the property. I think this is the BEST place in Bocas for a vacation where you can relax, enjoy nature, and head into town for tasty cocktails. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Hidden gem of Bocas.

Very kind young owners. They helped us very much with our trips around Bocas. You can borrow kayak or paddleboard and explore neighborhood. Great garden full of palm trees, parrots and hummingbirds.

Extremely remote. No way to shop or go anywhere. Owners are very nice and helpful.

This is a beautiful spot with fantastic hosts. It’s the perfect off-grid getaway while still being only a five minute boat ride from surf, restaurants, and adventures. Great kayaking and snorkeling!

We stayed at Ataraxia for four nights and we absolutely loved the place. It is a little far out so very relaxing and exactly what we wanted. The rooms are simple but clean and the bed was good. There is a huge balcony and a very nice deck right over the ocean. We could use the kayak and snorkeling gear without any extra charge. The huge kitchen is great to prepare a breakfast or cook dinner. The hosts were especially nice, they gave us a very warm welcome and helped us whenever they could. They had great tips for us and helped to organize tours, diving or a water taxi when we needed one. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t want to go party in Bocas every night but is looking for a place to calm down, relax and explore.

Very nice to spend several nights in this place, a friendly atmosphere, very quiet, ideal to disconnect and be in contact with nature. Surfing spots are also nearby to go with taxi boats in a few minutes.
