Had a lovely night stay on Monday 11th July! Room was fabulous and very comfortable! Had a meal in the evening which was absolutely fantastic! Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Booked for bottomless brunch to celebrate my early birthday. Was not disappointed. Delicious food! Drinks flowing, lovely staff. Margaret was amazing! Great atmosphere and felt very welcome. 100% recommend! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you 😊

We went for the bottomless brunch with friends and it was amazing. The staff were brilliant and friendly, the food was delicious and the cocktails were beautifully made. The mimosa and the espresso martini were 👌🏻 definitely visiting again soon.

Went here for a family celebration meal. We had pre ordered our food so got served promptly. Everyone enjoyed their different dishes. Also most of the desserts were home made which makes a lovely change. Would recommend eating here.

Bar/Restaurant: This place attracts many people of older age, as their entertainment is geared towards them… still a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Food is great and does not disappoint. Hotel: Rooms are rightsized for be comfortable enough but not crowded… I call it cozy. Overall the rooms are kept very clean and well maintained. Bed, linen, towels, etc is all new or kept looking like so. The only thing I could not figure out was the TV, no signal… Don't care for it anyhow.

Over-priced B+B. Small rooms with tiny bathroom, thin foam pillow, few in-room niceties. We arrived later than planned and were told that we were unable to order food at 8.45pm. We considered breakfast (not included in our rate of £120/night! ) and were told that the window for b/fast on a Sunday is 8.30 to 9.30, which is a bit narrow. I would hope that there are better value places in Newmarket.

Just had our end of year meal just very slow and not attentive enough the owner spent too much time with other guests missed at least two rounds of drinks no time for afters so have to say disappointing as they weren't really pressed for numbers Food good but over priced.

Visited with friends and was reccomended by the locals as wasnt from the area. Pub was lovely inside very cosy and well decorated! Food was so good! The steak pie was the best id had in a long time! Our waiter bobby was really friendly and welcoming! The only reason I didnt give it 5 was because of the other older waiter being a bit off and came across quite rude apart from this really enjoyed our evening here.

Great village didn't eat but food look nice.

Visited this pub at 10 in the morning. Just wanted a cup of tea. Told to leave as the barmaid said the pub isn't open and the door should've been locked! How rude I thought : — (

Beautiful rooms friendly staff would recommend to any one.

I had the most delicious roast pork lunch. The vegetables were cooked to perfection a good size portion & plenty of variety. There was one very large roast potato which I don't normally like as they are always to hard but this one was perfect soft, sweet & crunchy on the outside. The pork was lovely and moist with great flavour but to top it off probably the best Yorkshire pudding I've ever had with crispy crackling on top.
The service was impeccable friendly staff set in a perfect country pub. I very highly recommend The Bell and look forward to another visit.

Fantastic food fantastic pub great atmosphere.

Cosy rustic atmosphere, especially when the log fire is going in the winter. Eaten here on a number of occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. It's a good idea to book in advance as it is often busy.

Good food and a menu with something for everyone, not cheap but quality food so it was worth the money. Only thing that let us down, when first greeted we didn't feel particularly welcome, other staff all very friendly. All in all a very positive experience.
