Just had family meal for 10 of us for my father in law’s 85th birthday felt covid safe. The Sunday Carvery was excellent wide choice of veg and potatoes. Thank you for the friendly service Rachel Plant.

Lovely food. Been there every week for the past 3 weeks and it’s lovely food. Really welcomed by staff and I will keep coming here. Always get your moneys worth and also good as it is local for me.

First ever Mother’s Day meal all separate today. Raj & the team did a great job with the Sunday Roast take-aways. Tasted amazing and beef melted in your mouth!

Christmas menu — good food. Efficient service. A bit quiet and lacking atmosphere but probably due to time we were booked which was mid afternoon.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, nice pint of carling.

Meals were lovely and the staff were polite and were always asking if we needed anything. Chef cooked meals from the evening menu during lunch as hubby wanted something from that menu with no hesitation.

Tasty carvery with lots of choice and good portions.

The sandwiches are nice and the chips are the best I've ever had, shame due to philistine customers my favourite sandwich the rueben was taken off the menu, never mind though, nice pint of ale too.

Very nice carvery just disappointed with the roast potatoes, I could not make my mind up how they were cooked they did not appear to me to be roasted.

Not been for a while used to like the afternoon 2 for 10 deal but I have to say the carvery was very tasty and would recommend it.

Came here for a carvery as recommended by friends. Lovely casual atmosphere and the staff were attentive but not a nuisance. Meal itself was excellent. Certainly no skimping on the roast! Apparently best to book in advance during the colder months. We'll worth a visit.

Sunday carvery was so lovely freshly made meat was pork, turkey & beef so nice. The best roast potatoes ive every had on a carvery & a nice choice of veg. Staff friendly & serve you at the table. Definately will go back.

This place is very deceiving from the outside, its not the most inviting but once you go in the and sample the food you will want to go back. We ate here on both our nights in the area, food is all cooked fresh and we didn't think expensive. Its wasn't busy either night (Fri/sat) which was surprising. Definitely try this place, we would go back happily.

This is a hidden gem in our village, it's immaculately clean, the food is great, and the service impeccable. Lovely atmosphere, and great choice of music in the background, really enjoyed our family birthday meal here on Saturday night. Which we chose to do after experiencing a great last minute meal out Wednesday, thank you you to all the staff for your hard work, and friendliness.

Service wasn't great the waitress/manager seated us and never came back but eventually one of the other waitresses took our order and the food was nice.

Looking a little tired and with a very typical menu, the place was reasonably busy for a Saturday lunchtime, as we 5 sat down. Very unfortunately, they were missing the Tilapia my Mum wanted and second choice Hake. The young waitress had the difficult job with bad news but handled it well. However they did have Salmon, which Mum pretty much lives off normally, and offered a prawn butter and provided a nice mix of vegetables, so it went down fine. The Hunter's Chicken x2 were succulent and chips very good. Little side salad was dressed and fresh. Fish goujons buttie was very good, as was the burger with cheese and bacon. Overall a success and fairly priced.

A good place for a coffee or food, before visiting the the market. Enjoy a lunch after shopping at the market. Meal deals available.

Love this place, only been for a breakfast once and it was cracking, had lunch once and that was the same. Been for a drink a few times and are always made to feel welcome by the staff and locals that drink here. Lovely, clean, warm and welcoming. Food is delish too. Will always pop in when passing.

Was out for the aero clubs Christmas meal last night. Really nice atmosphere in this venue and the staff are nice and will have a laugh with you. Drink was good and food was ok though my fish was a little dry.
Will happily come again x.

We come here when in the area on family visits and the food has always been really lovely, we've chosen from the main menu and must say the portions were huge. The 2 for £12 menu is great value for money and the portion was more than enough for me, I had the omelette which came with a lively salad and chips. A lovely calm laid back atmosphere with great service highly recommend you try it!

Bog standard carvery that proved pretty tasteless. Oppressively hot room, had to open a window. Kids didn't like the desserta, alrhough not necessairly rhe pub"s fault. Limited menu, would not return. Service was pretty good though.

Date night with my partner. I had the rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection, exactly how I asked. Partner had the burger, obviously home made the same day, chips were also home made and very tasty. 10/10 would come again.

Hi I stay here every time am going to dog show and I would highly recommend the bridge house staff are all ways friendly and breakfast always perfect restarent serves good food well done bridge house 5 stars from me.

Nice food. Good place to bring family for meals. Staff here could make you feel uneasy. Doesn't seem organised when you book a table. Twice been here after booking a table but there was confusion over where we were to be seated, for just the two of us. Then seem to hover about to clean table even though it was fairly quiet, plenty of tables were unoccupied which was strange.

When the carvery first started all those years ago, it was really good. Since before Christmas we don't visit anymore. I really hate over cooked veg. The bowls that held the veg were encrusted with veg from earlier in the day. Should have had fresh bowls, not just tipped into the used bowls. Not to my liking. I noticed that the males were given more meat than the females. I mentioned this a couple of times to the owner. He agreed that as we were charged same price since we should have had equal portions. The bar staff were fine, waitresses were ok. We used to visit most weeks. Shame.
