I am a coch driver and my work booked me into here very very nice wee B&B Very friendly owners room stunning and spotles would defo come back agein 110 out of 10

I stayed at the warren over the last weekend and I can certainly say it won’t be the last time. The room was spotless and has everything you could possibly need, including a bottle of tap water in the fridge and we had some home made cake treats which is really nice touch. Breakfast is delicious and the breakfast room overlooks the fantastic views over the Staffordshire countryside. However on top of that, Alison the hotelier is the most genuine and friendly host I have experienced — nothing is too much trouble. She also makes the best poached eggs! Can not wait to stay again next year and already highly recommending to friends who visit often.

Amazing B&B, highly recommend, so welcoming, lovely people, lovely room, scrumptious breakfast, beautiful setting, so many extra little touches that made our stay so special. Will definetly stay again.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, a fantastic B&B, with everything we could have wanted or needed for our stay. Alison and her husband were very welcoming and friendly the whole time and went the extra mile to provide some cakes and banners for our daughters 10th birthday. We will definitely visit again and would recommend it to anyone as a great alternative to the Alton Towers Resort Hotels.

We have just spent 2 nights in the family room & have had an amazing stay. Alison went above & beyond our expectations. Very helpful, extremely clean & food delicious. Would highly recommend staying here & will definitely return.

This B&B is absolutely amazing! If you ever go to the Peak District, make sure you stop here on the way and stay for the night.

Amazing experience with this B&B! Very spacious rooms with on-suite bathrooms and a lot of wardrobe and storage space. Also supplied us with an ironing board, a kettle, a fridge, a coffee maker and even an umbrella (also an assortment of different flavours of tea, biscuits, hot chocolates, sugars, sweeteners and coffees). Thought it was also a lovely idea for the tuck shop in the reception area which is run by the owners children; it consists of items from drinks to pot noodles, they all had price tags on them but there was an honesty box where you put your money and give in the amount you honestly think it is worth. Another positive to this B&B was the breakfast, they give you a sheet the night before so you can either tick off what you want on a fried breakfast or get a lighter breakfast like oat cakes, also in the dining room, you get a variety of cereals, bread which can be toasted and juices to choose from as well as a range of hot drinks. The staff at the Warren are also very welcoming and kind, always stopping you for a chat and allow you to look around their gardens and their neighbours farm animals (alpacas, goats, pigs etc). This B&B supplies takeaway menus and local taxi numbers incase you need them and don’t mind you ordering to the B&B itself. Overall, would strongly recommend this place, easy access to alton towers and a very nice atmosphere, thoroughly enjoyed my time there!

Everyone should be allowed to express their own opinion based on their own true experience, and I was extremely upset as Alison took our deposit and booked us in on a random day and not the the day we arranged by phone. So sad people are just taking others hard earned money wrongfully and deceitfully.

Booked for the 8th of August one night for 2 adults and 3 children, visit Alton Tower's and the waterpark. Unfortunately the lady we dealt with duped us in booking it for the 1st August, took a deposit and then insisted we booked it for the 1st. Everything I have booked is for the 8th and 9th August. Sad really as my children were looking forward to the trip. Just feel monies is extorted from me and there is no moral or honesty left for certain companies. So be careful when dealing with Allison make sure the dates are correct. Only gave it a one star as I have no choice, otherwise it should be a — 3

We came back yesterday evening from our 2nd anniversary weekend at The Warren. We had a 3 nights stay and I wish it would’ve been longer. The place is amazing and the surrounding area is great to go for walks and picnics. We arrived a bit early on Friday afternoon, but Alison showed us the room (with an amazingly comfy bed! So disappointed we had to leave the bed behind…) which was still being prepared. We fell in love with it immediately! She then gave us a lovely walking …route to do whilst the room was being made ready for us. Her directions were great and we managed to walk around for about an hour and a bit in the most gorgeous woodlands. When we came back to our room, a bottle of Bucks Fizz was waiting for us, together with a card & freshly baked banana cake, to celebrate our anniversary. What a lovely thing to do! That evening we had dinner in The Bulls Head in Alton. The portions there are so big! Very good pub food if you’re looking for something reasonably priced and very tasty. Breakfast at The Warren is so good! The night before, you fill in a form to let Alison know what warm breakfast you want (English breakfast, and you can pick what you want with your eggs. Or great Scottish oatcakes with cheese, which I highly recommend! ).
There is also a buffet of cereals, fresh fruit, jams, bread, crumpets, fruity bread & fresh juices. A great spread to start of your day! The kids also like to help around during breakfast in the weekend, which I loved.

Went to The Warren to celebrate our 3 year anniversary together for an Alton Towers 2 day trip. Safe to say that I'm so glad we chose this place! Everything was personalised, from Alison noting down my issues with gluten and dairy (there was gluten free FRESH banana bread in our room on arrival, gluten free cookies, chocolate and fresh glass bottles of dairy free milk in the fridge which unfortunately I didn't have the time to drink! Had such an amazing selection at breakfast! Was given the option to have something freshly cooked, which I chose the stafordshire oatcakes with mushrooms, gluten free sausage and lactose free cheese and it was AMAZING! alongside that, there was a wide selection of different things out to suit every taste, from fruit, toast, cereals and more. Even the honey and jam was freshly made locally! Alison was such a lovely host and made us feel special our entire visit. Our only regret was not being able to stay there an extra night! Definitley will be visiting again!

I can't really add much to what other reviewers have said especially on Tripadvisor but I will say that if anyone else runs a B&B or is thinking about it, stay a few days at The Warren. But I guess I should actually leave a review. It really is like being a home but better. There's the fantastic breakfasts. The tuck shop. The DVD collection. The use of cutlery and plates. The friendly owners. Comfy bed. Great shower. Home made cake everyday. Advice on places to go and things to do. Great in room tea and coffee. Homemade jams. Fruit. On a personal level Alison really made us feel welcome and was very accommodating (eg lending us a bag for Alton Towers) so much so we asked to stay an extra night and she fit us in. We will be back next year with friends. The 9.9 on TA isn't a fluke. The question is why it's not 10!

This B&B is brilliant. It's in a good location in Alton. The rooms are very tidy and clean. The B&B is a house so it has a garden with a trampoline for kids to play on. Allison (the owner) makes you a brilliant breakfast in the morning, the perfect thing to start your day. The owner is really kind. I REALLY recommend staying there!

Stunning views, superb accommodation, very clean, hostess (Alison) is a wonderful person, and cooks a delish English breakfast, as well as offering other breakfast dishes. Highly recommended 10/10

Stayed in this beautiful B&B for a night before going to Alton Towers. We had banana bread and fresh milk waiting for us on arrival, the room was a nice size, spotlessly clean and the owners were lovely. The view from our room was stunning. In the morning we had a lovely full english breakfast, as well as fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt. This was truly the best B&B I have ever visited and the value for money is incredible. When I'm next in the area I will definitely be staying again.

What an amazing stay at the Warren once again. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome from Alison one of the b&b owners. She always goes the extra mile with her guests and takes the time to show you to your room and explain everything. The bed and breakfast is in a fabulous location just down the road from Alton Towers and also over looks a valley with stunning views. Rooms are always very clean and beds are extremely comfortable with all the facilities you could require. There is also a room that has plenty of dvds should you wish to watch one and we'll as a little tuck shop with snacks and drinks. Breakfast once again is amazing. Great choice with cereals, fresh fruit, toast, crumpets, yoghurt and Full English breakfast. Fresh filter coffee and tea, orange juice and apple juice. Overall again another wonderful stay at the Warren. We will be returning next year for the 6th year running which we have already booked up. Thank you.

Brilliant best B&B I've stayed in.

My daughter and I stayed here in July 2015 with another family. The Warren is in a gorgeous setting and very clean and comfortable. A great selection for breakfast is delicious and there are a couple of nice pubs within walking distance for dinner. We are returning this year.
