Great food great service fantastic menu of fresh cooked food. Great selection of beers and ciders. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for dinner for two lunch or bigger parties.

Amazing, friendly family run pub surrounding beautiful countryside. Food lovely, good home cooked and great portions at a reasonably price. Patrick and his staff can’t do enough for you and are very friendly and welcoming! We will be back.

Was staying in the area for business and went for dinner, I know the owner really nice guy.
The place was really busy with lots of people eating, I had the Chilli and it was lovely huge portion well worth the money.
Will be back again!

Excellent food and great service although they were very busy.

We had a great time there on are last night because it was local to Kibbear farm where we were staying and walking distance. We sat outside otter ale on draught and would defo recommend the sticky toffee pudding.
Relaxed atmosphere and the staff were brilliant great finish to a lovely holiday in Somerset 😌

Just had the valentines menu. Superb as always. It's very rare that a steak is cooked how I like it but Wendy nailed it. Thanks again.

Lovely pub, great setting. Really good choice of beers. Food was fantastic all homemade good choice of vegetarian food and included some vegan options. Would recommended.

Very nice Village pub. Could have better choice of local Ales. I. E Quantock, Cotleigh etc. Good honest pub food. Hearty portions. Good Beer garden… Would recommend.

My wife and I went today for our first post lockdown pint. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere in the pub. Good to see COVID precautions in place and well followed. Good choice of beers. Looking forward to going again and supporting our local pub.

We used the takeaway service last night and what an excellent service this was, the food was brought out to us in takeaway containers and was piping hot, could not recommend this enough, tasted just as good as it did on a plate. Thank you Winchester arms for continuing to do an excellent service and food.

Will miss this pub dearly! Good food and cheap beer. Always accomodating even to a giant mob of students! Hope to see you again soon x.

Stayed here Sun night to go to UB40 concert at racecourse, had gorgeous roast and pud for only £10.50, room was lovely and very comfy bed. Staff all friendly had a good natter with Patrick the Boss Man and other guests at breakfast this morning which was top notch, will def be coming back x.
