Wonderful rooms and gardens, cakes & biscuits etc. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Not our first visit and it's almost 4 hours drive. Wouldn't do this if it wasn't worth it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit today the views were stunning and gardens well kept and full of many different flowers and sculptures.

Having a wedding in these Covid 19 times is not easy. However Stobery House and Gardens made my mums wedding so special they had originally booked a different venue but due to these unusual circumstances they were no longer able to hold it there. Stobery was booked very last minute the bride and groom didnt even have time to go a test the menu and wines however the team were amazing and provided a wonderful menu and great wines. They were covid safe wearing visors, hand sanitizer available even the canapes came out on individual plates to share with someone in your own bubble. Nothing was too much trouble and they premted things that needed doing like taking the brides bouquet and putting them straight into water. The service was smooth and friendly. Massive thanks for turning a very complicated uncertain wedding day into the most chilled evening ever you made my mums day perfect.

A big heartfelt thank you to Frances and all the staff at Stoberry House for making me and my now fiance stay so magical and memorable, everyone was so wonderful and helpful in every way and was always there if we had a question or needed anything. The views are captivating as you get such a nice view of the gardens with Wells in the background and Glastonbury Tor just off in the horizon. The continental breakfast kept us full all morning and there is so so much to choose from and all fresh. Personally loved the trout. The room (originally was in Black Orchid but was upgraded to The Studio) blew us away, every attention to detail is there to use, we needed the flashlight to get back one night haha. The initial welcome tea/coffee, cakes and information was great and made us feel relaxed straight away. If anyone is thinking of going to Somerset and is looking for that little secret escape this is the one for you, you'll come away like us not wanting to leave. A massive thank you to Tim and Juliet for offering and taking us down to the bottom of the road on our leaving day (as neither of us drive yet). As if everything above wasn't enough on the final night we had a small box of chocolates to enjoy courtesy of Stoberry, my fiance was really happy at that haha. Beautiful place, lovely host, fab breakfast and easy access to Wells.

Beautiful gardens in a unique breathtaking location. We took our 22 month granddaughters along and even though the weather was not perfect, we really enjoyed the lovely gardens and walk, accompanied for much of the way by one of the resident cats! Would love to come again in the spring. Tea and cake were delicious a well.

Very pleasant and peaceful garden. Welcoming staff and beautiful surrounding. It's slightly smaller than what I expected but the work that went into creating this place is phenomenal!

Another stay at this beautiful house and gardens. Frances & the team could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Always feel so rested after staying here, with panoramic views of Wells cathedral and Glastonbury Tor. The choices of breakfasts have to be seen to be believed! At this stay we had the added bonus in the form of Monty their cat who generously gave us a guided tour of the gardens! Will be back for sure!

We stayed in the outbuilding and I can honestly say, it was one of the best sleeps I have ever had! The bed was so comfy and the selection of free drinks, food and all other amenities was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful, which we wandered around one evening. The breakfast choice is stellar with some local cheeses and preserves on offer. I have recommended this place to my friends and colleagues.

Visited twice and both have been amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast are such a good range of options I always feel totally spoilt. Will definitely be going back :)

I have mixed reviews about our buy one get one free cream tea experience… The place and views are fantastic. The tables were set out beautifully, crisp white tablecloths, lovely tableware everything looked stunning. Having noticed the other tables our scones were much smaller, there was no butter and when we asked for some it was just enough for two scones (we were four)! There was just not enough jam or cream, one of us went without! That said it all tasted delicious just not enough by half. We paid £30 for the four of us so worked out £7.50 each. It says buy one get one free but I think it was pay half get half! Shame!

Fabulous 4 days in Wells. Best breakfast ever and very comfortable accommodation. Everything was perfect. The gardens and view overlooking Wells Cathedral are amazing. We will return to see the gardens in flower. A perfect stay.

My wife and I stayed for three nights in this wonderful Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Everything about Stoberry House is just perfect we could not fault a thing. Tim and Frances are wonderful hosts and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our Room (Lady Hamilton) was charming, comfortable and very well equipped. The attention to detail is very impressive and every need that the guests may have has been thought of. The breakfasts were really delicious and were always accompanied by the weather forecast for the day ahead. Frances would always enquire about your plans for the day and provide useful maps and advice.
Stoberry House has an idyllic location surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking Wells Cathedral with a distant view of Glastonbury Tor.
We have stayed in some wonderful Hotels and B&Bs but this place is right up there with the best.

Afternoon tea was lovely, views were amazing and beautiful garden, however messed up the time of booking, had one hardback book that had to be taken off another couple and had to look after it as it cost £22.50, and be careful as we were going to be charged to view the garden.

It's a wonderful place to stay!

Wonderful champagne tea for my grandma's 90th birthday, so many yummy treats and especially loved all the different savoury bites.

I stayed at Stoberry House at the start of the year and had an amazing time! Nothing was too much trouble for the host of the establishment who went out of her way to ensure I had a comfortable and relaxing stay. The besdrooms were beautiful and so comfortable! I had some of the best nights sleep I have ever had and would definitely return. Wonderful!

Located on top of a hill overlooking Stoberry Park and Wells' old center (only 10min walk), this Guest House is the ultimate hide out for a welcome stay in Somerset countryside. All around the tastefully decorated premises, you can enjoy the garden/park with its splendid views. With many interesting sites to visit within a 1hour drive (i. E. Glastonbury, Bath, Sherborne) Stoberry Park Guest House allows you to fully explore SW England. The lady of the house is most welcoming and proactively introducing you to the history of Wells, where to go for an exquisite dinner, etc. The beds are amazing and rooms and towels are being cleaned every day. Breakfast, being served on whatever time suits you best, is the most extensive of its sort with fresh and organic ingredients. Unfortunately our schedule only allowed us to stay here for 2 nights, as we have wished to stay here much longer. No doubt I would advise this beautiful place to all.
