Me my wife stayed here for 5 days with my mother and father in law and I’ve got to say Kate and Dan the owners are fantastic all the staff are great the locals are very welcoming the food is fantastic (and the drink is spot on) big thank you from us guys x👍

We have had a fabulous stay at this beautiful gem of a pub & guesthouse, we came as my cousin was getting married at Coombes lodge, the family room was great everything we needed, the breakfast were 10/10 & more, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, a beautiful pub next to a lovely stream which my daughter loved, the manager was fantastic with my daughter & her knowledge for the local area which was helpful, would I stay her again, most definitely as I love the Somerset area, thanks so much for our fabulous stay all the way from sunny Doncaster xx.

Been twice whilst in a local holiday cottage, it has great ale and good pub food at reasonable prices.

Great location. Clean rooms. Had pork casarol with mash and cabbage. Very nice and good value for money. Would I come again? yes please.

Stayed here the night before my daughter got married. There were 8 of us with one 3 year old and a baby of six months.
What a lovely friendly pub nothing was to much trouble. Food 10 /10 all home made. Rooms were lovely 10/10

We had really great service here when we arranged a surprise lunch for my Mother-in-law. They cooked lunch from off the menu for 18 of us (including 7 children), and all the food came out at pretty much the same time. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food was really tasty and great value for money! If I lived locally, I’d definitely be back!

Nice pub very pretty both inside and out. Food ok but a bit basic. Burgers, ham eggs chips etc. Good selection of beers and cider.

A gorgeous building in a great location with excellent home cooked food and friendly staff. Everyone is made to feel welcome by the locals and overall it's a great place to come and eat, or just to drink.

A great old world pub set in a great location, owners are great, very helpful. We stayed overnight and the breakfast was very nice, the only reason I've not given it a 5 stars is because the evening meal was a bit of a let down, we did mention this to the owners who were really surprised but offered their apologies. Yes, would stay there again.

Cracking little pub, great food, a nice range of beers and ciders. Friendly staff. Outside seating at the front of the pub with Sun shades and a pub garden at the back for those summer days and evenings. Passersby are really friendly too, a lovely atmosphere, where dogs are also welcomed.

Very good food and ale in a traditional pub that lacks in cosiness and comfort.

First time my self and partner visited this pub and what a beautiful setting and the inside of the pub was really nice and had lot's you could do with it, in the right hands would stop for a drink if we were passing the pub again.

The fact you don't stick to the table put place higher than most. It's also stylish traditional and with good selection on ales and food. Real wood and nice staff, will be back there for sure.

Myself & my Husband were staying at the Millhouse B&B more or less next door, we had already enquiried over the 'phone to the pub if they served food & if the rugby was going to be on, answer to both was yes. We had food with a not very long wait, I had the pepperoni pizza which was so tasty & just enough for me. The girl behind the bar did not stop as the pub got busier with locals coming in to watch the rugby. They were a friendly bunch, very welcoming, my Husband spoke to a few during half time. Then the best thing ever, out came piles & piles of bacon sarnies, very tasty & more than enough to feed a small army! We loved the pub & are already planning to visit again at some point. Keep up the good work.

Great pizza and the local butcombe blonde beer. Nice seating outside the front and away from the main road.

It's a great family friendly pub with great food and also welcomes dogs. The food is homemade and very fresh. There is a great choice of drinks and spirits too. It is in a very scenic place and just off the main road.

Another excellent night duck racing, been going for 5 years now and it's a night we don't miss.

Very busy but our three girls aged 4, 2 and 7 months loved watching the ducks and paddling In the water.

Visited here last week had a carvery have to say it was delicious all presented well lovely and hot. And the staff are so helpful and polite we are back here to stay in august and are looking forward to that very much would definitely recommend …

The plume of feathers is a lovely country pub. Ideal location and friendly staff. A grest time to be had here.

I had the occasion to stay at the Plume of Feathers only for one night whilst staying in the area for a family wedding The property was within walking distance of the wedding venue The room was a twin room immaculately clean and well presented just what I had asked for when I booked online Breakfast was excellent cooked to order. If you are looking for a bed and breakfast to stay at for a weekend or if you too are attending a wedding in the area. Make the Plume of Feathers your first choice.

Lovely pub in a cracking location. Food service was a bit slow and the home made pizzas were ok but not outstanding. The homemade burgers and stuffed chicken looked considerably better and the portions were immense!

Stayed here for 1 night and it was lovely. The views are beyond stunning, staff super friendly and breakfast so tasty. The room was a beautiful cottage room but the only reason I've not given it 5 stars is because the bed was quite lumpy, the bathroom cistern was very loud and radiator times are not quite right. So the room was very cold when we arrived (but perfect when we got back after the wedding) and cold again waking up in the morning. A small heater is provided but it took a very long time to heat the room up.

Great place to stop by. Great english traditional deck and fire place.

Situated in a less populated area along side a stream, not too far from Bristol airport. Good size room with an en suite containing a good size shower. Breakfast was a full English which was good. Friendly staff.

Went for a meal and a few drinks. Very nice country pub decent real ales on offer. Small food menu and large selecti9n of pizzas. Food is excellent and reasonably priced.
