We could not speak highly enough of Minnie and all the team @ Haselbury Mill. After moving our Wedding date 4 times due to Covid they were fantastic and accommodating in everything we needed. Lovely venue, great food and lots of amazing memories made. Mr and Mrs Phillips x.

Friendly staff, who always had a quick and easy smile and can’t do enough to help. We felt so welcome. The hotel is in such a beautiful setting and is relaxed and laid back, while still offering a first class service. We would love to come back!

Had a meal with friends, we had a small table each to Comply with the social distancing, staff were great especially the man who went out of his way to entertain us. Lovely food in a safe friendly atmosphere.

Had a wonderful Autumn break for 2 nights. Afternoon tea was delicious. Stunning surroundings, beautiful buildings, great food, lovely staff.
Very impressed by the Covid prevention measures throughout. I work in a Hospital & very picky about where I go at the moment but felt every possible precaution taken here, way beyond the usual hand sanitisers. Felt safe.

What can I say, considering the circumstances we had the most perfect wedding day. The barn was beautiful, the food was delicious and all of our guests commented on how tasty it was! Massive Massive thank you to Minnie and all the staff who worked so so hard for us to make sure we had a wonderful day, even with the restrictions in place we still got our ceremony and we made it down the aisle! Words cannot describe how grateful we are thank you so so much ❤️

Such a lovely 3 course meal today off the set menu. So concerned we would miss this treat re the Covid-19 closures etc. The food is simply superb, cannot recommend enough — & so reasonably priced for the standard you get — which is top class.

The team at Haselbury are absolutely amazing — I have been working with the events team over the last few weeks to organise a charity event that we held this weekend — all I have is praise for everyone! Every staff member is polite and helpful and is willing to go above and beyond to help accommodate your every need!
On a professional level — our event was an incredible success!
On a personal level, having stayed at the hotel, I had a beautiful double room which was immaculate & offered comfort and style with some lovely personal touches! Such a shame I wasn’t staying for longer because I will most definitely return! 5

We went today for Father's Day carvery. Beautiful food, staff was all friendly and helpful and the whole experience was lovely. Such a beautiful grounds.

Went to the Easter Monday Fun Day and it was absolutely brilliant.
All the staff were so friendly and the fact it was all free was the icing on the cake, such a great family day out, 5* all round.

The array of old vehicles looks shabby. The room we had was away from main hotel. Very clean and comfortable. The mill looks like it's going to fall down. Roof tiles dangerous. The main beans over mill rotten and amazing it still there. Painwork shabby. Had breakfast by candlelight had problem with power. Staff on the other hand amazing. Good good. Store above room clearly has no carpet. Also vans parked in front of window and door. Would not stay again.

Had a lovely evening meal here. We had two mains off the specials board. Excellent value for money and great tasting food, beer was good too. To top it off, beautiful location and friendly staff. 5 stars.

Wonderful venue with delicious food. We had two lovely evening meals there — one in the A La Carte restaurant and the other was during their pizza nights on a Thursday. We also had tasty breakfasts both days.

I can only praise the hospitality of the hosts, the great food, the variety of beers and the calmness of the Haselbury Mill. The food is just delicious and they will adapt to your needs — which resulted in an amazing Ceasar Salad. The rooms are almost perfect and the whole place is just nature and calm within flowers, antique vehicles and flowery colors.

Lovely Sunday Carvery. Very generous with meat servings, unlike some places. The chef is a really happy kind chap too!

Popped in for dinner on Sunday late afternoon on our way home. Such an amazing experience. I have pregnancy/gestational diabetes so eating out is always a huge chore — but not here! Staff were super helpful and friendly and I had my first hassle-free GD-friendly meal out that didn’t have me worrying about my blood sugar levels and the effect on baby! To make it even better the food was absolutely delicious! Location is gorgeous and the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon. Would highly recommend and we will be back!

To the manager: let your menu reflect the brilliance of your food! I have to say I was not expecting much from this meal but what a fabulous surprise. The menu is both written and printed in a totally outdated way but the food that was served was presented beautifully and was delicious. The lentil bake (that wasn’t what it was called) was very good although needed a lot more lentils in the well flavoured sauce. My 4 year old was given sandwiches with the crusts cut off — well done! The restaurant is very pleasant to sit in and the gardens are delightful. This place just needs to sell itself a bit better to match the flair of the chef!

I supplied for a wedding here recently and I must say one of the friendliest staff I've come across in the 100's of venues I work with each year. Very attentive and all sharing the same goal as myself… To ensure the couple and thier guests have a truly relaxing and enjoyable day. You will be highly recommend in my list of favourite venues.

Came here for a family meet-up yesterday. Building and grounds look great, staff friendly and food much better than standard pub grub. Veggie option nice. Wheelchair friendly. Kids can wander around the grounds and check out the vintage vehicles by the pub next door. Mind you big pond outside though so beware. Would be great to have a specific play area though. Would recommend.

Had a great day at dub on the mill. Lovely setting and great space for an event in the tithe barn. Will be going back to try out the restaurant.

Superb food and lovely atmosphere you can stay in a beautiful gypsy caravan in a secluded spot, Or a fantastic room with all the comfort you need, the staff our brilliant and I have always felt rested and relaxed.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. We had our small dog with us and they were very accommodating. The double room was large and spacious. It had charm. It wasn't deluxe but was clean and neat and had all the usual basic tea facilities etc. We had dinner there and it was very good. Breakfast full english was also good.

Absolutely wonderful place. The location is nice and quiet without being isolated and the facilities are well planned and well executed. Pricing is very good indeed for both the accommodation and the bars and restaurants. Above everything else, though, is the service. I had read reviews praising it before I arrived but even with high expectations I was blown away. All the staff have a level of quality that borders on precocognition and every single person I encountered was friendly, sociable, down to earth and generally wonderful. I truly cannot understate how excellent the service was and even with no other factors this would bring me back. If six stars was an option it wouldn't be enough. Thank you so much.

Was in the barn for a wedding and is an absolutely stunning location and atmosphere! The wait at the bar was always minimal and the staff were brilliant. Am going to shortlist this venue for our own wedding!

Really nice customer service! Really peaceful and authentic location. I recommend it if you want to merged again with Mother Nature and have quiet getaway. This place is also organizing wedding but seems to be really famous!

I recently got married at Haselbury Mill and was nothing short of impressed at the warm atmosphere, professionalism and organisational skills of all the team. We used the whole facility over the course of 3 days. This ranged from the Tithe Barn for our ceremony and reception, the restaurant for pre and post wedding meals, and the hotel for our accommodation. Of note, was the high quality of the food served in both the restaurant, and the wedding breakfast. Minnie and Roger, and their excellent team were unforgettable hosts and made our day extra special in every way. We cannot thank them enough! We would thoroughly recommend Haselbury Mill to anyone, for all occasions.

This was the location for Holyrood 2017 Prom. It was very well presented with friendly staff.

As a wedding band we have played at Haselbury Mill both in the main barn and the smaller barn. The large barn has a huge stage with good access for loading and unloading without disturbing wedding guests. We were able to park our van within metres of the stage. Staff were helpful and seemed in good spirit. Well kept grounds with good parking facilities. Smaller bar perfect for smaller weddings and parties with the large barn for larger numbers. We would recommend Haselbury Mill as a wedding / event space.

Staying for 2 nights in the old mill house, we were not dissapointed by the facilities, food and professionalism of the staff. Lovely quiet setting with a modern reconstruction of a medieval tithe barn — a credit to the craftsmen. Well worth a stay and highly recommended.

Brilliant midweek meal for 10' all had different meals which were all perfect, hot, and excellent value for money.

We visited the Tithe Barn for a wedding. The food was great and the table staff were very polite. The atmosphere was just right and the building itself gave a great feeling of a period building although it is still less than 10 years old. Really enjoyed our day here.

Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get out and about. You wouldn't need to though, the food, beer and surroundings are lovely.

In years of staying at hotels throughout the world on business and pleasure, this location has to be amongst the top 3. Idyllic location, packed with serenity and character, the real key to Haselbury Mill is simply the employees. Every single one we encountered has the Haselbury ethos; service with a smile, nothing too much trouble and clearly proud to work there, they form a team all singing from the same hymn sheet whilst pointing in the same direction! A rarity in the hustle and bustle world we occupy. Food also excellent and wine list pretty good. Whisky lovers will also be surprised and sated. All in all 9.95 out of 10. And I don't really know why I docked 0.05! thank you all.

Found this hotel via Google and it was excellent with the best meal meal we have had in a restaurant for some time imaginative and delicious our compliments to the chef and team. Staff were all great, a real find. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic. We got married here in Sept 2009 and I really cannot rate it highly enough. Everything was fantastic including the food, the service, the truly stunning Tithe Barn, the friendliness of the staff. So much consideration and thought went into our day including the little touches that make things more special (like taking some of our flowers from the table settings at the end of the evening and placing them in our room and on the bed — they even brought chocolates from the cake in for us). The breakfast was outstanding and everyone who came remarked on the beautiful venue, the wonderful food, and the fantastic setting. I just wish they had some sort of in-law killing machine out the back — that would have come in very handy! The bedrooms were well kept and styled in a way to compliment the age of the property. The spa bath was lovely! All in all a fantastic experience.

We got married at haselbury we had excellent food friendly staff nothing was to much trouble it is such a beautiful setting and our room was clean and fresh will be going back every year for our anniversary.
