Great 2 night stay in the Eliot Room, clean, fresh and airy room. Staff lovely and breakfast was very good. Good distance from town, nice walk along the tow path or £6 in a cab. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful 3 nights here. Room very clean, spacious and comfortable. All members of staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. Will certainly book here again if visiting the area.

I have just stayed for two nights and loved it. Outstanding attention to detail. My room was immaculate, 'Dickens' on the door. On opening the door I was greeted by an old-fashioned teddy bear on the bed reading Great Expectations. From that moment I did have great expectations and they were fulfilled.

So glad we joined friends for a stay in this fantastic hotel. Our room (Austen) was fabulous and the bed so so comfy. Sue’s hosting is first class and the whole team make you feel so well looked after. Can’t wait to revisit when the weather is better to enjoy the beautiful gardens.

Search high and low, you won't find a more beautiful hotel. Tasburgh is small, elegant, and exceedingly comfortable, with a lovely and attentive host and staff. A 'must stay' in Bath UK. The details are what make this delightful property special, such as the Teddys in each room with a book and costume representing the English author for which the rooms are named. There are 7-acres of gardens to roam. A short walk takes you to a local pub on the canal. Just a little further a dinner house serves locally sourced delights. My room, the Hardy, was spacious, beautifully appointed, and overlooked the gardens. My bed and linens were like sleeping on a cloud. — — MaryGo.

Really great place, the house is beautiful, the rooms are adorable, the service is very kind. Everything is perfect, just like the garden, and the little 120 min walk to get to the city center, walking beside the waterway.

This place is rather special. You are made to feel like a house guest rather than a hotel client. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner, Sue. And the whole place is beautifully finished. Thank you for a relaxing stay. Bob & Jean.

We stayed in Tasbugh house for two days and can't recommend it enough the rooms are beautiful welcoming and comfortable sue the owner was awesome she made our stay very special she made us beautiful suppers and went to great detail with her presentation the whole experience was was wonderful the breakfasts are overwhelming and her price was fantastic especially for the quality. Best we have had thanks sue.

This pitches itself as a 5 star boutique hotel (that's what the sign says outside) and to me it isn't that. It's the world's best B&B. The food is excellent, the staff are attentive and the place is spotlessly clean. There are three grades of room determined by bed size and we went for the middle one. I am 6 ft 2 in and couldn't stand up to use the loo in what was a very small bathroom and there wasn't much hanging space. We got back at around midnight and the bar was closed so no option for a nightcap. None of this may matter to you and it was certainly full of happy customers and seems to be able to command a decent price for the rooms.

We had a super overnight stay here when we visited our daughter in Bath. The location is fantastic as it is outside of Bath and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a nice 25 minute walk into the city if you wish to eat in town or do a bit of sightseeing. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view over the garden and canal. Would definitely stay here again.

It is my second visit to Tasburgh House. One of the reasons I came, was to have a full rest and relaxation. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just few minutes by Taxi or a lovely 20 minutes walk by the canal to town. Sue, Grant and peter were ever so nice and everyone else at the hotel were so attentive, which makes the place more like home.
The room was great and comfortable, and the view from the window, together with the beautiful and quite garden towards Bath, is something I could never be tired of. Morning coffee in my room, by the window, is a real pacifier. Breakfast at the Observatory, is another thing to remember, on top of being testy and full of choices.
Will certainly come again, one day.

Awesome hotel. Wonderful staff and incredible gardens.

Lovely place, clean, welcoming and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. They couldn't do enough for us. I recommend anyone to stay there.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff can not do enough for you. Then there is a beautiful walk in to bath central.

A little outside of Bath centre, but 2 buses into town (10 — 15minutes). On site parking, ample gardens, Lovely clean rooms. Continental breakfast with lots of choice. Cooked breakfast extra, but worth it. Relaxing lounge, with a range of drinks served in crystal glasses. Well worth every penny.

A very lovely hotel just on the outskirts of Bath. It's a lovely half an hour walk by the river and a quick £10 taxi back! We were greeted by a lovely team. Showed us round the house and to our room. Which was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was great, it's just a shame you have to pay extra for cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great room service. Would recommend highly. The scenery and landscape is amazing and I would definetely go there again.

Stayed in Bronte room with a lovely, far-reaching view out on to the gardens and couldn't fault the service from the staff — superb.

Relaxed and friendly, clean comfortable rooms and approachable staff. Good food and coffee oh and terrace with great views which must be a delight on a warm summers evening.
