The location is perfect, 15 minutes walk and you are in town centre, roms are lovely clean and quite, loads of period features. Excellent.

Fabulous accommodation for 6 girls to celebrate a hen weekend. Spotless rooms with many luxurious touches. Super comfy beds, fresh clean towels and tasty breakfast cooked to order. Justin was extremely helpful in answering our queries, providing information and welcoming drinks. Perfect location for exploring the town or relaxing in the gorgeous garden. Highly recommend.

I recently went to Dorian House Room 10, great reviews that’s why I picked it.
But my room was dirty, dust and grime everywhere I have photos.
I left and went to the Landsdown Hotel beautiful place (and clean)
Dorian House have refused to refund me only giving me half my money back.
Your a 5 * B@B if you think a dirty room is acceptable in the middle of covid times I’m sorry I don’t.

From start to finish, everything was perfect. We arrived an hour early but were able to check in as our room was ready and was kindly helped with all our luggage. The room was beautiful and cosy, we loved the finishing touches like the fresh water, coffee machine and selection of teas/hot chocolate. Next time we will definitely try a four poster bed room. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to perfection and the staff were lovely and very friendly. Hotel was very clean and the location was spot on, 10 minutes max to get into bath city centre and bonus that the hotel offers parking. I already have already told my family members who are looking to go to bath to book this lovely B&B! Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very much at home.

Fabulous stay at Dorian House! Jen and Phil are gracious hosts. They were warm and welcoming, and helpful when we had travel issues and questions. Downstairs there is a comfy sitting room with a cozy fireplace, and we stayed in a charming, comfortable fourposter bedroom. Breakfast not only looked gorgeous, it tasted amazing as well. Our time in Bath was a highlight of our UK vacation, and Dorian House was a special part of that. We would most definitely stay there again.

The room was smaller than I expected, the wardrobe was actually non existant. Generous amount of tea and instant coffee in the room, and lovely soap and shower gel. Brilliant breakfast, polite staff. It was good for a short stay, like one night but no longer. I would go back again for a short stay.

Wonderful b&b. More like a small hotel. Friendly staff. Nice large, clean and well equipped rooms. Just a 15min walk to bath city centre.

There was a ashtray full with cigarette ends outside our patio door which was disgusting. Our bed was a little soft but still comfortable. Manager gave us the warmest welcome I think we have ever had. Breakfast was nice and cooked fresh. Fresh fruit, cereal and pastries with tea of coffee was gert lush!

I recently sent the weekend at Dorian House Hotel and was very pleased with it. The staff were accommodating, polite and efficient; the room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of he front garden; and it was situated within walking distance from the town centre. Well worth the price paid for our stay there.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly. Only slightly negative thing was that we arrived in the room with only a bit of toilet paper and didn't realize until after reception was closed : (but everything else was lovely! Also, only 10-15 walk into town and the Roman baths.

Easy walking distance to town. Great food, very nice rooms. Parking was interesting.

Lovely we place handy for the centre of Bath. We stayed in the Gerswing room on the second floor. Room clean but very hot and couldn’t turn radiator down, tea making facility but only 1 biscuit for a double room for the price comfortable bed, great Wee breakfast in the morning. Would stay again.

I first posted something extremely accurate as to our disappointment with this place, but I have decided it would be better just to say — it does not deserve 5 stars, and you would have to go to a properly run 5 star place to see just how far this place has to go. Most staff polite. IN urgent need of a really thorough reno. There are lots of stairs and a very steep driveway. Totally unsuitable for people with a disability.

We arrived at Dorian House on Boxing Day, just as the couple who owned it returned from visiting family. The gentleman said to give him a minute and he would let us in. We really didn't expect him to as we arrived early for check in. He was so lovely and gave us lots of information regarding places to eat, where the town was and what time breakfast would be served. He allowed me to use the toilet while he sorted out a key for our room with my husband. Our room (no. 2) was gorgeous, with a 4 poster bed. We stayed 2 nights and couldn't fault anything. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked to order. I managed to leave without my pyjamas and the lady owner very kindly posted them to me. I would definitely recommend Dorian House to anyone visiting Bath, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely property, great staff, nice food, clean and well positioned. We travelled 5 hours from The Lizard (Cornwall) to shop at the Christmas Market in Bath and looked at the reviews for lots of B&Bs and Dorian House stood out so we went for it. You never know if half the reviews are genuine but I think it's safe to say these are. An excellent B&B and we will definitely be coming back. Congratulations to all staff, you made our stay very memorable. Strongly recommend this B&B.

Located on the hill Northwest of Bath within walking distance to the City Centre, Dorian House is a professionally run Bed and Breakfast, rooms are finished to a good standard, and equipped with the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast in the morning comprises of the standard cereals, fruits and pastries, complimented with a cooked-to-order breakfast chosen from a menu, and served in a spacious and well lit conservatory area with views over the small but we'll kept garden. Check-in, check-out and all other interactions with courteous and confident staff. We come back time and time again to Dorian House throughout the year. Parking can be a little tricky at busy times on the steep driveway, but the same could be said for almost every other B&B in the area, and Dorian House also has parking permits for on road parking too… Always a pleasure to stay here and come back to after a hard day walking about the sights of Bath.

What an amazing hotel, From the clean rooms to the world class breakfast and friendly staff. Our two night stay last weekend 23rd September made for the best end to our long holiday and we would certainly stay at Dorian House again. One review had said Dorian house is closed and have no idea how someone would say this as it is very much a thriving hotel.

This is a very lovely hotel. I actually would have rated it 4.5 but there is no 4.5. Why not a 5.0? It just isn't as luxurious as some of the 5 stars where we have stayed but it also doesn't have the price that goes along with those places. Some of the 5 star appointments of the hotel are the bar open until 8, very clean, nice sheets, comfy bed, wonderful hot made to order breakfasts, free parking, quiet neighborhood and ground floor rooms. We are on vacation for ~ 2 weeks an…d needed bigger suitcases. We asked the manager if there was a lift so we didn't have to carry our luggage up the stairs which there is not. The manager, immediately accommodated us by putting us into a ground floor room. We so appreciated this. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Bath City Center. I would highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely stay again.

Shame this business is now closed — it came highly recommended by my neighbour, but I called several times and it just kept going to voice mail — with no-one ever calling back. I thought this was really sloppy customer service who obviously didn't require any reservations to be made but I then found out via Google that it was up for sale and can only conclude that this has now happened or is happening and no-one is around.

Very nice personnel, and really beautiful place. Got a small room with a comfy bed. Was nice although I would have preferred a room in the upper floors because of the nice Bath views. Breakfast was delicious. Only downside was that the bathroom is small and the tiny shower have the shower head quite low for my height and had to duck a bit to wash my hair.

Was a lovely stay! The room, while nice, wasn't entirely what I'd expect from a 5 star hotel. As a B&B however, it was certainly satisfactory. The location was also excellent, and staff very helpful.

Great service, comfy bed, tasty breakfast, powerful shower & excellent facilities. 3 different Wi-Fi areas which might be too complex for some users. My Wi-Fi connection was poor throughout but my travel companion's was strong. I found difficult to add photos to Instagram and see my freinds Facebook status. Would 100% stay again but I'd bring a Wi-Fi dongle. Love it.

It's a very well presented hotel and the room was well decorated with a rustic theme but still had all the mod cons, the staff are also very welcoming and happy to help, we were only a short walk to the town center and the staff were able to provide us with the quickest route. All in all an excellent experience.

A mix up over a booking I had made resulted in a late cancellation fee being charged. On phoning the hotel manager, the issue was resolved immediately and the fee was refunded. Excellent customer relations. Thank you.

Stayed on a combination of business/leisure for two nights. Beautiful accommodation, good location for town centre, excellent hosts, free Wi-Fi and parking, super full English breakfast. Great value — would recommend unreservedly.
