Had an amazing stay at Apsley House for my birthday, lots of lovely little touches & so well looked after by friendly staff.
Can't fault anything at all, such a beautiful room that opened up on to the garden, very comfortable large four poster bed, beautiful slipper bath bathroom, lovely & warm and the most amazing breakfast experience we've ever had. Definitely coming back in the summer for another stay, can't wait.

Never been anywhere where I couldn't find fault till now, beautiful hotel,, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast, 1st anniversary gift at the side of the bed lovely anniversary stay in Bath made complete by Apsley Hotel.

This hotel is a B&B-like gem in Bath, Somerset, UK. Host and operations manager, Jeremy Burnett, provides attentive and superb service. Conveniently located a short walk or cab ride from downtown, the entire place is immaculate and well-decorated with lovely views.

This house was the Duke of Wellington’s country estate. Converted into 9 beautiful suites. Tiny, but elegant. Great beds, fine bathrooms — heated floor, nice touch. Jeremy, the manager was very pleasant and engaged us with what to do and eat in Bath.

Attentive staff, off road parking, nice cooked breakfast, romantic room, huge bath, historic building, close to park and ride and bus stops.

Just had such an lovely stay here. All staff where so welcoming and had very useful information for us visiting Bath and even have us a discount card to use for local attractions. They couldn’t of been more helpful. The room we stayed in has a gorgeous 4 poster bed and corner bath. We even purchased the teddy bear which was in our room and brought it back to Leicestershire with us. Will be definitely staying here again. Thank you.

Checking out today — have loved the Olde World charm of Aspley House — everything just seems to fit! Bed & pillows, very comfortable. Breakfasts cooked to order delicious and nicely presented. Jeremy, the Host, fits right in — very helpful, friendly and full of local knowledge.

Went to Bath for our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel was stunning. Comfatable bed, lots of little extras, friendly service. The breakfast was amazing with excellent service. This place is 5* dont hesitate to book. We will deffinatly be back.

If you are seeking English charm with impeccable service you will find it here at the Apsley House. Beautifully appointed rooms and spacious bath, breathtaking views (we stayed in the Salamanca room). A bit out of town so tranquil setting too. Do not hesitate to book!

We were late arriving at the hotel, Jeremy stayed late to make sure we arrived safely and were checked into our room. The service throughout remained nothing short of excellent. Our bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to leave it. Each mornings we were offered a delicious selection of hot and cold food for breakfast. The hotel itself is stunning, and with excellent staff. Thank you Jeremy for all your help booking us a table in town for dinner, taxis and generally being a fantastic host. Will definitely go back if in bath again and will recommend!

Bath is excellent. The service here is the best I've had. Jeremy on reception gave us a nice route to walk into town. Breakfast was lovely. Views facing bath from the room was excellent. Will definitely be going back (hopefully).

Truly a lovely little place. A noble house with a lovely garden, comfortable rooms and modern, but with antique furnishings. A dining room for the breakfast is really nice. The manager is always helpful. The car parking area. Open views of the surrounding greenery.

One of the best places we've stayed! The hotel is great, the room was well presented in a vintage style and the grounds were very nice. The hosts couldn't do enough for you! Breakfast is one of the best we've had from a hotel and make sure you're up early to get a seat in the bay window and enjoy the view. Will be heading back to here at some point soon.

Honest this small hotel has proved to be the best place, I have ever stayed in, the Manager Jeremy even greeted us on our arrival in the car park and carried our cases in and carried our cases when we left, the rooms are immaculate, I have never experienced such service in my 40 years of using hotels including some of the best hotels in the country Brilliant will go again.

Now this Hotel is an experience you have to try, it’s a small Hotel that is very clean and very comfortable the style is unique and very pleasant, staff are very polite very helpful and will go the that extra Mile. Breakfast is to die for it’s changes every day so enjoy. One thing we liked was the Honasty Bar help your self and Wright down what you have had a great idea the only let down is they do not do evening meals but lots to choose in Bath we will return very soon, try and enjoy.

Beautiful House a little bit outside the center of Bath. Nice rooms, fantastic breakfast, and a good equipped self-Service Bar in the living room.

What wonderful place! We stayed in the Coach House which was beautifully furnished with all the home comforts. Staff were soo friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. Definitely 5 star rating and highly recommend! We've already booked for next year.

Apsley House Hotel is absolutely amazing! It is an old Georgian mansion with a beautiful garden. The staff are wonderful; full of local knowledge, very welcoming and polite. Breakfast is included with an overnight stay and is always excellent. I have stayed here 3 times. It is the only hotel I will stay at in Bath because it is awesome. It is a 5 minute drive to town and so it nice and quiet. Plenty of parking for all the guests. I would thoroughly recommend this beautiful hotel if you enjoy a traditional English style.

Excellent place to stay. Each of the 12 rooms is individually decorated in this historic house. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with all you would expect from a such a grand house. You will be assured of a warm welcome from the friendly and knowledgeable team at Apsley House. My wife and I have stayed 4 times so far, with another 8 rooms still to visit — we owe it to ourselves to try all of the rooms. Whilst there is no restaurant for lunches or evening meals, the breakfasts are amazing! There is also a comfortable lounge area with an honesty bar and grand piano. The house is about 30 mins walk into the city, but there's also a bus stop just outside if walking puts you off This place is certainly worth a visit.

We stayed two nights arriving on a Monday, and received a very warm and informative welcome from the concierge, detailing local points of interest, how to get to the city by foot or vehicle, bus times and prices, and taxi prices, as well as information about the hotel. We were then led to our room — lovely, quaint, and spacious, with good views and a large bed. We both slept comfortably both nights, and enjoyed breakfast each morning. A good choice on the breakfast front; from the standard cooked breakfast, to those a little more fancy. Truly enjoyed the salmon with poached egg on crumpets! I'm sure there's proper name for it, but a description will have to do. The staff were all wonderful, and helpful throughout. With out a doubt, we'd definitely stay here again.

One of the nicest Hotels that we have stayed in, the rooms are beautifully furnished and each have their own individual theme, the owners are always in attendance and can never do enough to please you, all the staff are extremely attentive, the breakfast is outstanding with different variations each day. We highly recommend this hotel.

What a fantastic place to stay! Staff wonderful, bed superb and a lovely setting. Nice walk into town (down hill) with map provided by reception on arrival. Taxi back less than a tenner! (£10) or use your legs!

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very polite and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was very nice and served at our table, which was properly layed out with a nice white table cloth. Great attention to detail and I would recommend this hotel. We shall visit again.

An elegant and understated building, suggesting a certain class, which it delivers. Subtle and stylish. A charming and unfussy welcome, friendly and attentive care shown at all times and accommodating to the fore. Truly pleasant. There is an ease of comfort throughout the hotel, service is impeccable, all the while a vast amount of work continues behind the scenes, the ambience is maintained at all times allowing a pervasive sense of contentment. Miroslaw and Kate were amiable, approachable and professional at all times. A most pleasurable stay.

Fantastic hotel. Each room is tastefully decorated and unique. We've stayed 3 times now and stayed in a different room each time! Wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Bath. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, breakfast is to die for. Can't wait to stay next time.

This is absolutely gorgeous. We have four people and stayed in the apartment right outside the main house, with a nice courtyard sitting garden. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Bath rooms are cute and finely equipped. Also has full kitchen and a living room. The main house dining room has spectacular view. I like their china collection. The breakfast is service warmly but just a typical English breakfast. Sit room is also very nice. We really enjoyed.

One of best hotels I have stayed at in England. Immaculate and charming building, generous and friendly staff, and a fantastic breakfast with those cute little jars of Bonne Maman jam, which always make me so happy. Pricey but worth the pennies.
