Wow where do I start, what a lovely little b&b. We have just come for one night and I can honestly say it is the best weekend we have had for a long time. The landlady and landlord were so welcoming, absolutely lovely couple. We have all had a fantastic night and would like to thank Craig from behind the bar who was such a lovely lad who made sure we where having a good time and introduced us to after eight mint shots. Omg they are to die for.

Beautiful Sunday lunch … amazing inside and out … great friendly staff … will definatley come again.

Great 3 nights spent here very freindly great rooms would stay again.

I frequenty visit the Tudor house for tgeir delicious carverys served on a wednesday and Sunday. Amazing value and perfectly cooked. I also drop in with friends for a social chat some evenings. Iain and Tara are very helpful hosts. You will not be disapointed.

Really good value carvery on a Sunday, plenty of choice & tasty too! We've yet to try out the dessert menu but we certainly will on our next visit.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was perfectly cooked and service was excellent. A very pleasant place to have a meal or even a drink with a friend.

We had a lovely afternoon tea with our friends and family celebrating our Sons' thanksgiving. Everyone commented on how nice the food was, including a separate gluten free option for my Auntie. The girls behind the bar were very helpful and Amy was great to deal with in sorting everything out. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We'll definitely be back. Thankyou.

Would highly recommend the food after last nights visit. Not only was the food amazing (best home made chips I've ever had! ) the service was too. Nothing was to much trouble, the waitress (Poppy) was very friendly and welcoming… Will definitely be visiting again… xx.

I took my daughter for a girly afternoon tea and she felt like such a little grown up. The table was laid out for us as I had book ahead and it was lovely. The lady who looked after us was so attentive and friendly and the food was beautiful and well presented. I would definitely recommend this lovely place to anyone wanting great quality food at a great price with such lovely friendly staff! Had my sons christening party here today such an amazing place. Fantastic food… helpful staff nothing is to much trouble and great managers… took the stress out of today for us so we could relax and enjoy our lil ones special day highly recommend these guys. Will definatly be back thanks so much xxx.

Excellent rooms. Very neat and stylish. Convinient location. Near shops and restaurants. Good food in house. And a good price. Highly recommended.

Tudor beamed character hotel in town centre with own off street parking nearby. Friendly staff, very clean, tidy and spacious room and great Full English breakfast. My standard room had shower and spa bath. Downside — Street outside plagued each evening by boy racers with sound systems bigger than their brain cells so don't expect to get to sleep before about 11.30.
