We called in to grab some lunch. We where 8 bikes and 14 people. it was a tad late but the staff, a wonderful family. sorted parking for us, along with our food. Nothing was to much trouble. a very polite young man served us at the bar and mum brought out our food. What a wonderful family ran pub. highly recommend it to any of our biking friends and groups. maybe worth phoning ahead if your going as a group. Amazing staff and we have to say, the young man who served us at the bar is a credit to his family. excellent customer service.

Sat in the lovely shady beer garden with our dogs today. The thoughtful owners had put out two bowls of water for any furry visitors. We had a half pint each of the Butty Bach real ale & it was perfect. A lovely stop off on our walk.

The food here is fantastic, as is the welcome! cannot recommend highly enough!

Fabulous takeaways quick service lots of choice and good value.

The very local beer, and lots of other good drinks. The lamb cutlets are amazing and the burger and prawn baguette both lovely. You can eat in the restaurant or in the bar.

Friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable and traditional interior, dog friendly, some excellent locally brewed beer, and truly amazing food — the steak and kidney pudding was sublime. Fabulous rooms too with comfy beds and the best freshly cooked full English breakfast I've ever had.

This pub is everything a pub should be. Friendly efficient staff with great tasty menu.

Lovely friendly staff and ever so helpful. Room (Purple) is very spacious, clean and well presented.
The meals are delicious!

We ordered takeaway which was absolutely awful — the onion rings were cold and manky, we had two portions of chips which just seemed as though they were the days leftover chips collected throughout the day then microwaved and then sold as deep fried chips as some were floppy, some were hard, some were cold. Absolutely revolting chips. But to be fair the battered fish was edible (just about). The lady who fetched our order from the kitchen was quite rude, face like a bulldog stung by a wasp. Smile sometime.

Stayed here for the night whilst on a walking expedition; we were blown away by the sheer friendliness of the owner, the bar staff and all the locals — would love to come again! — Alex and Jordan.

Just popped in for a beer at the green man festival. Service was quick considering how busy and beer was good.

Came here with a couple of people with disabilities, the staff were extremely helpful, really cosy atmosphere and the steak pie was absolutely delicious. Would definitely come again.

Walked into Clun for lunch and a coffee at the White Horse, as I do quite often. The bar was busy as usual and there was a good atmosphere as is usually the case there.

There is no way I can recommend this place. Before you even go inside the parking is a nightmare. The very old curtains were hanging off the window in our room and I had to stand on the window sill to try to fix them. Worst of all was the head banging Saturday night live music that penetrated through every wall without any consideration to paying guests.

Friendly local pub with good tasty food.

The White Horse Inn is an excellent local pub. Brews its own beer which it sells at very reasonable prices. The food is good and reasonably priced. Had 2 dinners and a breakfast there. Staff friendly and efficient. The landlord is often in evidence in the pub. Top marks. The village of Clun is a credit to its residents. Loads of free parking.

This was a quaint little restraunt/bar with a warm friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent with a good selection of local Shropshire ales.

Great food at dinner and breakfast and lots of choice of beers. However the radiator in the room was broken and was giving out heat all night.

Very nice quality food and great atmosphere. We had vegan pottage and it was lovely, though could have been a little bit bigger or a little bit cheaper.

The White Horse supplied a bar for our wedding at Clun YHA September 2016. From the off set they were friendly, helpful and very flexible. On the day they created a wonderful set up, worked hard to ensure everyone was happy. We would recommend 10/10

The White Horse in Clun is a brilliant place to visit or stay. The food is delightful, the staff are so friendly and will go out of their way for you. I have a daughter aged 7 and she really enjoyed her stay too. There was a band on one of the nights but we all were in the bar having a fabulous time meeting the locals. Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome.
